During the last three decades ATIR's staff of software and structural engineers, with the help of academic experts, have created versatile and powerful structural engineering programs for the construction industry. STRAP, our flagship program, covers the entire design process from analysis to the production of drawings and schedules. The program includes: • Design modules for calculating structural steel and cold-formed steel, reinforced concrete and post-tensioned elements subjected to static, dynamic, wind and seismic loads. • A bridge load and analysis module. • AutoSTRAP, a BIM (Building Information Modeling) module to create a structural model from architectural drawings. The nice workflow, starting with modeling, going through loads applying and satatic/dynamic analysis, and great output in concrete and steel drawings. You can do your estimation in 30 minutes for almost any building. The concrete design is so well detailed that it can almost go direct on site. I experienced situations when I really took out plans from the concrete design module and handled them to the workers on site. You can also have great results in steel design. The program does excelent optimisation of quantities and shows results in an easy to understand maner. **What do you dislike about ATIR STRAP?** The model rendering is very tehnical. There is not yet implemented a way to generate full engineering report, from geometry to final results with bilateral comunication with the model, so if you change a part of the model, you have to re-build the report. **Recommendations to others considering ATIR STRAP:** Use it if you need reliable very fast results in concrete or steel structures, from initial pre-dimensioning and evaluation to final execution details. Very good both for small buildings and large buildings. **What problems is ATIR STRAP solving and how is that benefiting you?** All kinds of structural design in concrete and steel, for residential, industrial and educational constructions. Very fast in design and accurate for material estimation and dimensioning. Instant detailed concrete beams, columns, slabs. ### 2. Powerful tools for creation of shear walls. Very simple to apply loads on the structure. Design features are excellent. Large amount of time saving when it comes to designing. Options to analyse & deign composite columns and beams. Possibility to create detailed construction details and drawings for RC beams, columns and slabs. Powerful cold formed steel design module Automatic bridge analysis capabilities. Possibility to develop complete geometry and loading based on DXF drawings. **What do you dislike about ATIR STRAP?** Nothing much. After sales service is really good. Even if there a bug in the program, developer corrects it immediately, without waiting for the next version to come. Most of the Atir's dealers are well qualified and experienced Engineers. STRAP is the best quality product with guaranteed very good after sales service. **Recommendations to others considering ATIR STRAP:** Please evaluate yourself. There is 30 days trials version available with option to explore all the features.
