**What do you like best about Ascend?**

Ascend is incredibly helpful with our needs. I like how it is easy to integrate with our available workflow and allows us to automate invoice processes thus saving much time. During implementation, Ascend's team was very helpful, they helped us through the process thus saving us time. It is very easy to manage invoices with Ascend and see the status using the dashboard. Ascend has simplified our workflow and made it much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Ascend?**

The cost might not be suitable for all businesses since smaller businesses may find it too expensive. Another issue is the application loading slow which consume more time.

**What problems is Ascend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Ascend, it is very easy and fast to track and plan payment obligations. It has a real-time monitoring function that allows us to monitor the progress of invoices as they move through the payment process. Additionally, Ascend is fantastic and so are their technical support team.

**What do you like best about Ascend?**

This platform has got a real time monitoring feature which allows us to monitor the process and progress of invoices as they go through every step of approvals and payments. This makes our work easier to track and know the status of each and every single invoice and also the transparency throughout the accounts payable process. Through this application,and in the recent past, our invoices are more read than ever before. Though it's features, the product has got the capability to provide reasonable real-time visibility for our AP process,it easier now to manage invoices and payments to our clients accurately and right on time. It's very simple and easy to use,extract information and share with buyers, vendors and suppliers. It gives the ability to add names to the invoice files when it's not in the system. This makes it easier for viewing and knowing the status of  each invoices.

**What do you dislike about Ascend?**

Nothing so far from this application.  All the small challenges we had when implementing it were solved and handled by the able supporting team.

It eliminated our old way of accounting processes. Everything is now handled electronically. ElevateAP has streamlined increased the efficiency of invoice processing.

The capacity to automate the processing of invoices. Ascend Software can automatically capture, route, and process invoices for approval and payment. I can save a ton of time and work this way. The sophisticated fraud prevention and detection tools. I can identify and prevent fraud using several capabilities provided by Ascend Software, including supplier risk score and the detection of duplicate invoices. I can rest easy knowing that my business is secure from fraud. The capacities for reporting and analytics. I can track my AP process and find areas for improvement with the help of the various reports and analytics that Ascend Software offers. This enables me to make wiser choices regarding my AP procedure.

**What do you dislike about Ascend?**

Cost: Compared to some other AP automation options, Ascend Software is more expensive. It's crucial to remember that Ascend Software provides a wide range of features and capabilities, which may make the higher price tag acceptable to some firms.
User interface: Some users have criticized Ascend Software's user interface for being clumsy and challenging to use. But Ascend Software has recently made some changes to the user interface, and it is now widely thought to be more user-friendly than it was before.

To programmatically process invoices. Invoices are automatically received, routed, and processed for approval and payment using Ascend Software. I can save a tonne of time and work this way. To find and stop fraud. I can identify and prevent fraud using several capabilities provided by Ascend Software, including supplier risk score and the detection of duplicate invoices. I can rest easy knowing that my business is secure from fraud. To monitor my AP procedure and find room for improvement. I can track my AP process and find areas for improvement with the help of the various reports and analytics that Ascend Software offers. **What do you like best about Ascend?**

Automating the payment and billing processes has facilitated the different payroll payments and payments of commercial agreements with partners and our other services. Its interface helps considerably in this since it provides ease of use and practicality when configuring everything within the platform. In terms of integrations, ElevateAP integrates seamlessly with popular accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero. This has made it easier for us to transfer data between platforms and prevented data entry errors. What i love best about ElevateAP is the fact that it saves us much time and it reduces risk of human errors which may be associated with entering invoices manually. The OCR works pretty well and smoothly and reduces the number of of errors. Since the first day, ElevateAP's team has provided us with excellent support from implementation, testing, design and so forth. We have been able to continue expanding the systems use and functionality throughout the company. So far so good and nothing to complain about.

It does offer the best customer support team that offers professional support.
It has transformed the way we manage our accounts payable processes.

I love how it offers the ability to create workflows customized to adapt to our needs.

**What do you like best about Ascend?**

I like the fact that it is a fast service that accommodates to the ERP service and integrates it easily so that the automation is done properly and does not cause any issues. I think that the automation that ElevateAP offers is very modern and smart, with a great prediction algorithm that processes the invoices faster and increases efficiency within the workforce, streamlining the invoicing workflow, and the support team is very reliable and responds quickly to all questions.

There is a bit of a learning curve when starting to use ElevateAP; it certainly is not an easy tool to get started with as it takes some time to understand the many tools and use them in the organization's favor to speed up the invoicing process. The support team is very responsive, though, and is able to offer help to get through the initial process of setting everything up.

The benefits offered by the services of ElevateAP are outstanding; eliminating time-consuming manual tasks from our daily schedules has been something that we are very grateful for, and with their incredible help, we have been able to automate the majority of our AP process. Nothing has such an issue for me to date, but sometimes the tool lags when invoicing date is huge. Hope it will be resolved in the upcoming updates.

**What do you like best about Ascend?**

The thing that I like the most about ElevateAP is the number of resources that it has to automate the majority of the accounts payable process, and the OCR system is a great tool that works amazingly when working with electronic invoices so that they are processed faster, and the workflow remains very stable. The automatic approval of invoices has worked very well, and it provides great management of these, saving time and effort as well as keeping data up to date automatically.

Sometimes the recognition of invoices does not work perfectly, and we have to go and make some changes so that there are no errors, but for now, this software does a good job at automating the entire AP ecosystem.

This software has helped us get rid of so much paperwork and has helped us switch completely to digital invoicing, which is faster, and so much more convenient and affordable. What I like best about this software is the way that it has a great customer support that is there to help throughout the entire process of implementation, and they have great advice to help us use the solution so that we get the best out of it. I also like the automation that it offers so that we are able to eliminate manual work when it comes to approving invoices, helping us process these invoices quickly from start to finish when we approve the payments.

This is a tool that keeps improving in order to offer the best experience to all the users, I don't really have any dislikes towards ElevateAP, although I would say that the loading time tends to be quite long, but I hope that it improves in the future as other tools have improved.

The management and monitoring of the invoice processing workflow have been really great, and the increase in touchless activity has helped us minimize the time that it takes to process payments and it has helped us keep track of all the incoming invoices while they are processed automatically. It is super easy to use, has a well orchestrated dashboard and a very straightforward user interface making it easy for one to navigate through, access and make use of its features. It offers one a real-time view of your activities with an option to generate reports. One of the things we like the most is the easy integration, it also allows us to establish rules for the automatic approval of invoices within certain amount limits, which saves time and reduces manual workload, it also offers the ability to create flows workflows customized to adapt to the needs we can define unique workflows for different types of invoices or suppliers, which guarantees a more efficient and effective accounts payable management, it has a real-time monitoring function which allows us to monitor the progress of invoices as they move through the approval and payment process. This provides full visibility into the status of each invoice in real time, making it easy to plan and track payment obligations.

**What do you dislike about Ascend?**

I have sometimes experienced issues with the platform loading time, which has been a bit frustrating at times of high workload. Also, I think the platform could benefit from more integration with other financial management tools.

ElevateAP is an account payee automation software from ascendsoftware. It comes with an OCR feature, which uses computer vision to scan and capture data, automating invoice digitalisation. It also comes with ERP integration which makes the whole process easy compared to doing it manually. It has many additional features that make software suitable for any company when you handle many vendors and invoices.

**What do you dislike about Ascend?**

The OCR features works most of the time, but sometimes it requires manual verification. Hope the accuracy improves as feed more data in to the system.

**What problems is Ascend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Elevate AP automates Accounts payee and Invoice management using computer vison/ OCR.  Using reliable software like elevate AP is better than building an in-house solution for this purpose, as it is more economical. ElivateAP is more economical and can save a lot of time.

Throughout their time together, the Ascend crew was exceptionally well-organized. Having everything prepared for our meetings was a breath of fresh air. They were always available to address our concerns and clarified the entire procedure for us. The next moves were usually unmistakable. They laid up precise requirements for each participant at each stage.

**What do you dislike about Ascend?**

Thus far, we have not encountered any issues that have made it difficult for us to carry out our regular responsibilities. The fact that STAP files duplicate invoices in the amts trash bothers me. Many of the invoices we receive are for the exact same dollar amount, and these should not be thrown away as duplicates.

For optical character recognition (OCR) in billing, we deployed the Elevate app. Our ability to process invoices quickly and accurately has improved as a result of this implementation.

ElevateAP is an excellent software from ascend software, for automating invoice accounting. It scans and catalogs invoices, makes them digital, and integrates with the ERP system. The OCR comes with elevateAP makes a lot of things like magic. The team behind ElevateAP is excellent, and they are helpful regarding integration and support.

Elevate is an excellent software solution for account management from ascent team, their customer support and technical support teams are fantastic. The software automatically reads invoices using computer vision, and it feels like magic. Building in-house solutions like this will costs millions, and using ready to use software like elevate sounds nobrainer.

I am happy with elevate so far, there are occasional glitches, but product improved a lot from the beginning, and I am sure team is working hard behind the scenes.

Will request to migrate back to Ascend platform. In many instances, manualy processing the invoices in Workday would be quicker than using Elevate

Elevate is causing more work than it saves. When we used Ascend, invoice processing was 50% faster than manual processing in Workday.

> First, we want to say thank you for your honest feedback. While this is never a response we want to hear, we see this as an opportunity to gain the necessary insight that will create a positive shift in our partnership. To start, the post mentions 'had the ability to copy previous documents automatically'. While we do have both the ability to duplicate an invoice line as well as set a rule to copy from a previous invoice, we believe you are referring to the ‘On Demand’ version. This was not provided in the first release but is on our roadmap to be delivered. We would love the opportunity to do a working session to see if leveraging the Document Rules will be a suitable bridge gap until the On-Demand is available.

With respect to recognition, this is something where partnering can yield the quickest improvement. We have customers that have experienced a large increase in both overall recognition as well as pass-through (or Touchless processing) after collaborating. ElevateAP has new technology in the way of recognition, and we want to ensure we are taking full advantage of every part of that.  

Next, we do hear you clearly on the communication around the new product release and how that could have been better, and we apologize for that. We have since made several large changes to both the processes, methods, and frequency of communication, and the teams that support the migrations.

Ascend has helped us accurately auto-upload invoices into our system. This has saved us from having to manually touch each invoice. 
For the invoices that are not auto-loaded, you can make the needed corrections in Smart Touch. The majority of the invoice information is already there, you only need to fill in the blanks.

I dislike the ques. It would be nice if we were able to maintain these and move invoices from que to que. It would also be nice if you could sort the hold que by who placed the invoice on hold.

What is most helpful about Ascend services is having a validation team services. This service has saved my team time and they are able be more productive in other areas. Ascend also schedules a monthly meeting after go-live to review monthly metrics to ensure we are meeting our target goal and makes recommendations accordingly.

Ascend does not have the ability to tie PO Invoice Adjustments to Workday, this causes some manual work to get the PO credits to link back to the PO.

Their response rate to our tickets fell greatly in 2021. But with new customer service reps, they are doing much better. I would like to see their ticket response rate continue to improve.

We had Concur invoice before and their process was very smooth. It took awhile for us to acclimate to Ascend. I believe they are trying to improve their software. Ease of use, everything automatically pulled by Ascend is 99% of the time accurate. The team has always been helpful and quick with resolving issues. My history with other competitors does not compare to the Ascend functions.

Some minor errors occur, such as recognition for specific suppliers, not a frequent occurrence, though. Sometimes line recognitions are an issue as well as synchronization with Workday. Sometimes invoices are not populated as quickly as I would like. I would also like to duplicate a line that includes Worktags from that line.

Ascend simplifies my day. It makes invoice coding simple, especially with PO's and contacts. Manual validation efforts have decreased tremendously. My work day has been much less stressful.

The most helpful thing with Smart Touch AP is the ease of use. Searching for accounts is quick and easy with this program. The system also learns and begins to guess the coding for invoices and most of the time - they're correct.

Downsides to Smart Touch AP is the time it takes to get the invoice loaded for us to begin work. At first, it was a learning curve for me because I could have already entered the invoice in the time it took to show up in STAP.

The ability to get invoices instantly and directly from vendors via email ingestion is extremely time-saving and reduces human error of manually having to input invoices.  The OCR works great and reduces errors due to not having to input the information manually.  The customer service at Ascend is outstanding and we enjoy working with our business partners.

**What do you dislike about Ascend?**

There are a few kinks that have taken an extended amount of time to get fixed -- such as the way the invoice dates are coming through.  I also wish that the users could have more control in certain situations, like when a large invoice gets sent through and holds up all other invoices, it would be nice to cancel that invoice on my own without opening a ticket.

**Recommendations to others considering Ascend:**

Make sure it is set up correctly at the beginning.  We had some issues at the beginning of our setup and were unhappy at first but we finally got everything resolved and we are in a good place with Ascend.

Efficency!  It takes much less time to process invoices with Ascend SmartTouch AP, allowing us to get more invoices processed throughout the day.  There are also fewer errors with OCR.
