I like if it works and I can't expect that every day **What do you dislike about Arcserve Tape Backup?** Major and constant problems with tape backups, resulting in disk space issues during disk-2-disk-backup. Most of our money for online support is spend just to keep arcserve running. It is very costintensive and needs a lot of manual care by experts who often need the help of experts who don't have the time to help because they help more important customers with arcserve problems. **Recommendations to others considering Arcserve Tape Backup:** Condiser to use something els. VeeAm is nice, although I have no experiences concerning tape backups. As long as it works, I'm fine with it. I know it can do restores and I've seen them work. I'm somewhat confident that it will give a good backup. **What do you dislike about Arcserve Tape Backup?** The customer support is awful. People I speak to are hard to understand. They forget to call you back. The software fails randomly all the time. **Recommendations to others considering Arcserve Tape Backup:** Make sure you are technically savvy. You will encounter a lot of issues while using the product. The support needs a lot of improvement. Make sure you constantly check the backups, because it fails all the time. **What problems is Arcserve Tape Backup solving and how is that benefiting you?** Backups mostly. We're in the process of moving away from Arcserve due to it's unreliability.
