Arcserve have done a lot with UDP to dispel any reservations I had with the legacy Arcserve Backup product from the CA days. I do think there are some limitations around Arcserve's Cloud integration that would make them a less than viable option for certain environments, but what is here is more than adequate for the vast majority of use cases. As a newcomer to the IT industry, in a non-technical role (PM) I wasn't expecting to understand much, although I was surprised how much of what was covered made at least some sense to me. The setup is very simple and the interface is very intuitive when setting up the machines. Even when there is errors the error messages actually give good output so you can troubleshoot what went wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Arcserve UDP? The only issues I ran into was the lack of support for linux (very limited) and the DR team when calling in was not the most educated. They lady we spoke to was just going from a booklet and seemed to not understand the deeper level of configuration. It worried me if we actually had a DR issue and needed support.
