Quantifying work is made a lot easier than how we were doing that in Jira. We decided to utilize some metrics like TT100 productive, daily check-ins, check-ins per day etc... and used those to quantify a monthly bonus to incentivize the team toward better more consistent practices. The metrics really reflect the productivity of the team, over the las 18 years I've using multiple tools and this is the only one with metrics that are not abstract or very hard to match to reality. It is not related to its quality, but as a 15 developers software development company ( and having frequently contractors or customers accessing the repos) we cannot afford to spend the same amount of money we pay for the whole dev support tools (Jira, Confluence , Tempo, Bitbucket, Slack, Invision, Adobe Cloud, Opsgenie, etc ) on a single tools.
