What do you like best about Appen?

The platform's ability to provide very high levels of accuracy for our previous need for tagging images, video, and text. Analyzing accuracy and a high level of completion was extremely efficient and easy. Appen helped get my business up and running, so that is a major upside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can find no downside or dislikes during my time using Appen. Perhaps I can only comment on a long learning curve but that was mostly due to personal experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Appen solving and how is that benefiting you?

For me, Appen was able to solve my problem mostly through data labelling. I was able to get immense exposure for my organization in its infancy stages without the need to spend 10's of thousands of dollars on advertising and marketing campaigns. What do you like best about Appen?

Using appen from long time here are some of the cons of the it listed -

1) Easy to implement work is available sometimes to earn the extra income.

2) Frequent few cents quick tasks can be found listed on the platform.

3) Customer support has a good available at the platform.

4) Has integration to platforms such as payoneer for easy tranfer of any money earned.

5) Appen has quick turn around time to get the task work and get paid.

What do you dislike about Appen?

There is more to talk about in cons -

1)Not having a great pay rate for most of the work

2) Work depends alot on your location and you may not have frequent good work available.

3) They have a good competitior in same area and they are better.

4) I have used others platforms as well and they are better in many terms like appen use payoneer for payment process and it deduct certain percentage to process your payment but others doesn't do that and whole amount gets transfer as offered for work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The links are just confusing. Sometimes you'd have an access issue, because you logged in on a incorrect link. Apparently, there exists multiple links and thus you need to sign up for multiple accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The worst freelancing website"

What do you like best about Appen?

They pay on time.That is the only thing good about them. Eventhough the payrate is loq. Also website is well made and user friendly. I douubt there is a competition.They will be out of the equation soon Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appen?

There are more worst things than good things. I am an active member of appen since 2018. First they took 6 months to approve my accont. Then they started giving small data collection jobs. As a beginner I didn't know that their payrate is much much lower than other freelancing websites. Also their rater roles are very cheap.
