## About Amethyst CADwizz Ultra
It supersedes the CADwizz MAX and CADwizz LE versions, and has been completely rewritten. In addition to greater stability and improved 3D features, the program offers increased speed and performance through OpenGL and DirectX rendering.

**What do you like best about Amethyst CADwizz Ultra?**

Ability to batch plot larger plan sets to output to PDFs or in some instances client PNG files for presentations.  A much better stability with lower end PCs, recently switched to a non workstation laptop setup and the lack of a higher end graphics card isn't an issue as the new release is better configured and allows for better scaled views and less stutter throughout.

**What do you dislike about Amethyst CADwizz Ultra?**

Some minor compatibility issues with regards to lineweights and how they display when output to a print pdf. A restart seemed to resolve this intermittent issue.

**What problems is Amethyst CADwizz Ultra solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier access to extracting and plotting out plan sets for my clients. Also more compatibility with my older thinkpad laptop when loading the software and accessing legacy cad files.
