I will say it serves it what it says or deliver. We're using it for English language transcription for now and it is providing quite accurate results. 2. Can be easily implemented with other aws services with multiple ways like coding and so on. 3. Provides speaker wise transcription as well as consolidated transcription too. 4. Pay per user model so cost effective if you don't have very huge usage. 5. They also. provide field Specialised transcriptions. **What do you dislike about Amazon Transcribe?** If you have large amount of daily data to transcribe then it may incur huge costing per year. Better to go with custom model deployment for it like Open AI whisper. **What problems is Amazon Transcribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've built meeting not capturing tool which can captures meeting notes with both clients and investors. Sometimes we need some import part to capture or record and transcribe. Initially we decided to deploy our own system but then we decided to go ahead with AWS Transcribe because the it was not cost effective as per our use case. As per our use case results was satisfied and cost effective for now so we decided to go ahead with managed service. ### 2. The decision to not split Portuguese into Brazil vs Portugal and just lumping them together was a mistake on Amazon's part. Same with Spanish. There are so many dialects, to say that everything from Spain to Argentina is one language is a poor decision that causes our transcriptionists to have to refine much more than they should. Transcribe should give the option to be dialect specific when the dialect is detectable, or even with user input. **What problems is Amazon Transcribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** Making an otherwise all-human process enhanced by allowing the first pass of transcription to be done by AI. ### 3. There are many audio file format type is supported. The best part about Transcribe is it is able to identify how many speakers are there and which speaker spoke what with the timestamp. This automatic speech recognition tool allows transcribing audio files in common formats such as MP3 and places temporary marks on each word so that the user can easily locate the sound in the original recording through text search. Another advantage is that it allows you to personalize and expand the vocabulary for voice recognition and in this way users will obtain exact and very specific transcriptions. On the other hand, this software is able to detect when there is a change of speaker and makes a transcription for each one. The best thing about aws transcribe is the ML and AI behind which gives a very accurate result. We used to create videos on several Languages after creating the base one language. It saved me a lot of money rather than to have a human create the content . Also it was very fast **What do you dislike about Amazon Transcribe?** Even though the software recognizes internal jargon and acronyms , of they are spelt as words (e.g as I M P A rather than IMPA) the software misses it. You can upload you customized vocabulary to make the artificial Intelligence to learn. Other feature that I really really like, is that can transcribe English and Spanish, and vocabularies can be uploaded in both languages. **What do you dislike about Amazon Transcribe?** It is missing some features, i do not like that it can only let you select one uploaded vocabulary, also the máximum size for uploading vocabularies is 50kb. (in my oponion... thats it nothing). If you can not select more than one vocabulary at least the uploading file size of vocabulary should be much much bigger. You can not upload multiple files to make the Artificial Intelligence to learn them, also you can choose only one file from the learned files to transcribe. **Recommendations to others considering Amazon Transcribe:** Amazon Transcribe have just went out to business for all the public in general, so it has a Lot to get better. but the beta compared with this public versión... has gone better a Lot too. I think Amazon is going to the right direction with this tool.
