Initial setup and deployment is painful. I'm not sure if much has changed since we initially deployed, but getting every thing setup and functioning properly in our environment was complex and initially left us feeling unsure about the purchase decision we made. I appreciate how Akeyless Identity Security Platform simplifies the traditionally complex and resource intensive task of PAM implementation and maintenance. Features such as Secure Remote Access, dynamic credentials, large number of out of the box integrations, and the REST API based custom connector alternative helps reduce adoption and operational effort while supporting strong security controls. The SRA capability for hardened SSH and browser based access is straightforward to adopt and helps accelerate the implementation. The unified PAM and Secrets Management capabilities provide a single pane of glass, reducing the effort needed to manage separate platforms. Akeyless rolledout features for Certificate management too which make cerificate lifecycle too easy. Their Secure remote access allows systems to be connected(ssh/rdp) over borwser sessions which makes managing servers easy as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that the Akeyless Identity Security Platform has an easy-to-understand architecture and the initial setup is easy. There's no overhead of maintaining local infrastructure, and it saves time and money by allowing us to bring Akeyless onboard and retire our previous PAM tool. There are many such things, a few of them are - no desktop client for Windows still available, the plugin and the web interface have some issues, and some features are still not available as requested or as per industry standard. We put suppose cases and feature requests and it would be great if those cases were taken care of quickly. Some may take time, which we understand, but no SLA it seems. I like the Akeyless Identity Security Platform for its ease of use and how it integrates with every system with less effort. This reduces the time to market and makes it easier to onboard new systems. I switched from HashiCorp OSS to Akeyless because of its lower costs and easy integration. I use Akeyless Identity Security Platform to retrieve secrets that are automatically rotated, which helps with storing passwords in code and enhancing security.
