I like that it’s quick to switch between presenters, and that it works smoothly with the dongle plugged into the HDMI port. I’ve also noticed the refresh rate is solid when sharing video presentations, with no noticeable loss of quality or stuttering. **What do you dislike about AIRTAME?** Only one computer can share at a time. I’d really like the option for two people to share simultaneously and interact with the presentation at the same time, in some way. I’ve also noticed that I need to be in the same room as the dongle to connect; I can’t connect from my office to the boardroom. **What problems is AIRTAME solving and how is that benefiting you?** This solves the problem of having to get everyone in my office to see what I’ve been working on. I have raised some tickets to support and they have helped me, as well as using the support page as a reference to configure the frequencies of the APs and reduce connectivity issues. ### 8. Super easy to implement, easy for the teachers to use, Most teachers use it every day. The Airtame 2 has worked perfectly for signage and for presenting as it works with any device. Support when we did have issues at the very begining were awesome and helped us optimize it for our network. **What do you dislike about AIRTAME?** None really. Only thing we can possibly think of that it does not have, that we would like to see in the future are interactive support in the Airtame App. We use Epson projectors, so it would be awesome if we can get that working when the are wirelessly presenting. And Bluetooth support for Airplay, would make it eaiser for us to connect the Ipads, instead of enabling the Airtame's hotspot and connecting the Ipad to it directly due to our network restrictions. **What problems is AIRTAME solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helping us move to Laptops and docking stations in our classrooms, cutting down on the ammount of devices we need to support. With just a wi-fi connection you can cast your screen and no wiring is required. 2. No need to spend extra time & effort in downloading the software and configuring it. 3. Saves a lot of time and the casting can be done in a click. 4. Available on any operating system. **What do you dislike about AIRTAME?** 1. Sound clarity is always an issue on Airtame, which leads to multiple connections & disconnect of the screen. 2. No option to write comments or point out a particular error just like how slack does. 3. Casting has to be ended manually and if the user forgets to end it and exits the meeting room, someone has to inform the user to end it and until then the other screen can't be casted. **Recommendations to others considering AIRTAME:** Airtame can be used by any organisation irrespective of the team size. The first generation was nice, but it was difficult getting them whitelisted on our network because the MAC address was nowhere on the package or device. G2 took care of that issue and then the latest with their signage capabilities and the ease of connecting to out-of-network devices. Loving our Airtames and look forward to what they have up their sleeve for the future. **What do you dislike about AIRTAME?** The only complaint I can muster up is if the projector remains off for long periods of time the Airtame loses connectivity and needs to be unplugged, flipped 180 degrees and re-connected. We have well over a 100 and it gets trouble some when teachers fire up their projectors and they don't see a way to connect. **What problems is AIRTAME solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem being solved is getting teachers unteathered from their desks. They can continue teaching and walking around the room without going back and forth to move forward with their lesson. Additionally, we have had some issues where the Airtame is not responsive where it needed to be unplugged and reconnected to the TV. **Recommendations to others considering AIRTAME:** I recommend purchasing the ethernet connected Airtame, as well as utilizing the Power over Ethernet (PoE) that is available with the newer models. This will make setup easier and allow for more consistent use. Additionally this will give you the option of connecting your in-house network to Airtame as well as the ability to add a second guest network just for the Airtame. **What problems is AIRTAME solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to implementing Airtame we were limited to a wired HDMI connection or Bluetooth via Microsoft Windows 10 to connect to our TV. This left out Mac users, mobile users, those on previous versions of Windows, and some of our visitors who had older video interfaces on their devices. Airtame allowed us to quickly and easily get visitors projecting on the TV. ### 18. I am much happier spending my days on IT strategy instead of AV work. My employees got the hang of screen sharing with the Airtame in less than a week and use it for every meeting. My favorite part is that you can share your screen from any device easily - so in the same meeting we can show and tell what is happening in our MS Office documents from a laptop and our mobile apps on our iPhones. **What do you dislike about AIRTAME?** I do wish they offered discount pricing for smaller quantity purchases. For smaller companies like ours, I would like to see a 3 or 5 pack with a small discount. I also think it would be nice if the windows application defaulted to opening in the background. But these are both small flaws in light of the time savings and convenience I got from purchasing one of these things. **Recommendations to others considering AIRTAME:** They offer a 30 day trial - just try it and you will see why this is so much easier on your IT department and improves your meetings **What problems is AIRTAME solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Airtame to screenshare during standup meetings. It allows you to fairly quickly and easily connect a computer to a TV for presentations. **What do you dislike about AIRTAME?** Airtime can sometimes be unreliable. It is not uncommon for a video to not play, or lose sound. Simple to use. The service representatives cannot be better. **What do you dislike about AIRTAME?** 400$ for one unit is far away from the reality; This product needs a lot of development yet. Not ready for enterprise environment or business presentation in terms of video quality and precision. - The drag and delay are just not acceptable. Even moving the mouse takes few seconds. The video is pixelated even if you set the device to the higher streaming quality and resolution. - If you have 2 interfaces, 1 to connect the power and another to the Ethernet. They are exactly the same and you cannot know by any means where you are connecting what. I would recommend adding a color to differentiate one from the other. - The service guys will blame your network or will say what all wireless presentation system are doing the same. The product has potential but it needs to improve the delays and drags. Great wireless feature but very poor range. Service is polite but they try to justify anything or blame your network. **Recommendations to others considering AIRTAME:** My recommendation to others considering the product is that they should take advantage of its potential, it is a bit expensive but it is worth it since it offers excellent business solutions. **What problems is AIRTAME solving and how is that benefiting you?** The days off cables are gone! We're been using Airtame in the office for a while now and feeling super happy about it. It is super easy in setting up or configuring, weather its for displaying static image, dashboard or presentations. **Official Response from Airtame:** > Many thanks for the review, José. In regards to other considerations you've put forth, I wanted to share the following information: - In regards to price, everyone's budget is different for these kinds of solutions. Airtame costs a lot more than a consumer product. At the same time, it's quite competitively priced when compared to other B2B solutions such as Clickshare. - Expected latency is between 0,4-0,8 seconds when presenting e.g. a slideshow, whereas streaming video requires a 1-second buffer. I'm sorry if you are still seeing latency a lot higher than this (a few seconds as you wrote). This should not be the case. If you'd want to get back in touch with support about this, I'd encourage you to do so. Of course, Airtame performance does rely on the network so that may turn out to be a factor (as you've previously heard from our team). We have it set up in multiple conference rooms in two different states, and when i travel it makes it so much easier to not worry about wires or seating. The ease of use. I also never have an issue with it crashing opposed to other programs of which are constantly crashing. This is a good product for our trainers and training programs, as well as quick meetings. **What do you dislike about AIRTAME?** I currently do not have any issues with Airtame at this time. I had an initial issue connecting, which was driver issues, once that was corrected there have been zero problems.Honestly, i do not have any negative comments to state about this product. It also avoids having multiple cord being ran across the room, The wifi connection makes it much easier to use than other products.
