Agiled is one of the 3 programs I keep open in my browser all the time. I am a freelancer and work with an array of collaborators for such tasks as site design, content, email marketing, lead generation and more. By comparison, typical all-in-one products for business management are too stodgy and over loaded for my needs. Agiled promised a leaner footprint and more compact framework for getting business, meeting commitments and analyzing resources. I tried cobbling together "best of breed" tools for client and team collaboration, invoicing and financials, marketing and customer relationship but quickly got bogged down in the set up and the mind numbing challenge of creating a coherent management system from too many components. Each of these tools is tethered to its own conceptual model for how their tool should be used and how my business should run. Melding them into a unified system was hopeless. For example, most of my collaborators are clients or subcontractors. A full blown HRM is a waste of my time. Agiled uses a Team and Teammates architecture for collaborators which suits my purposes fine, although I have to use the "employees" module to add them to a team. Paying 1099s is a work around for my subcontractors shown in Agiled as employees. Agiled is leaner than other tools and it's elements are closely coupled while providing a range of options that I find flexible without being daunting. My set up is a work in progress. Agiled is built for agencies moreso than freelancers although I am making it work for my needs. I find it far better than a accounting/bookkeeping package, freestanding CRM or project management tool on its own. Each time I touch something in my business I try to incorporate it into the Agiled environment. The new CRM with Accounts, Contacts and Deals is just my speed: enough detail to meet the need but not demanding information I will never use and probably never know. Sometimes the press of the job requires me to move on with another task on my "return to complete someday" todo list without adding it to Agiled. I am making enough progress, however, to remain hopeful and committed. This is true in large part because what I get done offers value without having to have everything "complete." This incremental implementation also allows me to adapt my plans for using Agiled based on my experience to that point. **What do you dislike about Agiled?** I have been impressed and sometimes frustrated with the rapid pace of innovation, integrations and feature rollouts by the Agiled development team but nothing that has been added or replaced (for example the CRM module) has caused me to question my decision to use it as the foundation for my business. I am not complaining about Agiled's rigor only whining about the work involved with one of my least favorite business chores. The digital signature facility for contracts and proposals is a real bonus. The proposal builder is a solid tool, too. I am intriqued by the ability to add live chat to the proposals. Such was not always the case with Agiled. Did I mention their aggressive new features development? So far I am pleased with the ROI of my time setting up and using Agiled, albeit still far from complete. The Agiled management team keeps me updated on what's going on without constantly hitting my inbox. I feel respected as a customer. It's what I want my clients to say about me. ### 28. Client management, invoicing, teams, projects, granular tasks, stats, charts, communication, user roles integrations, customization... everything I've thought of, I can do. And I can pretty well fully customize my white-labled, cnamed version (with a bit of CSS tweaking in my case, for my pickiness) and it's all branded, making me look even better to clients. **What do you dislike about Agiled?** I was a bit worried jumping into Agiled. The reviews were good, it seemed to be what I needed, and there seems to be active development. But you just never really know what the reality is with a new tool until you dive in and put it to work. There are a couple of minor issues I've noticed in UI stuff that I'll try to share with the devs. It seems they are as good about customer support as they have been in app development. I'm not worried. **Recommendations to others considering Agiled:** I recommend Agiled heartily - with the only caveat being that the developers are actively working on it to make it better. It is not 100% there, but they very evidently listen to their users, and it seems that they are actually working toward implementing the valuable ideas that their users have requested. I'm personally happy to get in now... Agiled acts as a sort of middle ground... not my accounting/CRM, and not theirs. So far, it's been workable and works well in general. That would really help make this app a fantastic tool in my case, and I'm sure many others have similar needs as well. The benefits I've realized so far are as various as the multiple services that Agiled offers. One of the main benefits may be that Agiled does so much, and I don't need to use several services to keep my business together. I used to run multiple platforms and they all have different ideas of how to work. Having it all one platform means they all operate with the same philosophy and UX style.
