**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Boris I. | Buisnesss Development Executive

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

I like how Adobe Firefly is trained for text to image, allowing me to create clean conceptual art, backgrounds, hero images, and mood boards. The generative fill function is great, and the text effects are very good for social posts or headings. I appreciate that I can create quick content that looks great in a matter of seconds. It also works nicely inside Adobe apps with rapid integration for creating quick visuals for real projects.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

Hyper realistic portraits of real people or very niche technical visuals like medical images aren't quite up to par.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Firefly for fast, production-safe visual creation and quick visuals for real projects. It integrates rapidly with Adobe apps, helping me create content quickly that I can drop straight into a design.

**Reviewed by:** M. Abdullah R. | Integration Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

I would say the fact that it is highly integrated with tools like Photoshop, and hence you can save a lot of time editing photos

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

You do not get most out of Sdobe Firefly unless you already paying for Adobe subscriptions

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating content such as videos, images takes a lot of time and skill usually, but with Firefly you can type what you want and get results instantly, making it very beneficial and time-efficient

  ### 3. Flexible, High-Quality Imaging—But Pricey with a Required Cloud Subscription

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

The software is very flexible, with many options to adapt and edit an image. Imaging are of high quality and can be used without licensing concerns.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

It is expensive, requires cloud subscription. Simple prompt work very well, but complex ones are very difficult to navigate and non-intuitive. I have basic computer skills and couldn't generate complex figures without reading a long manual. My students can, so for younger generations, its fine.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Significant time saving. No copyright issues.

  ### 4. Seamless AI Integration Elevates Creative Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Medhat E. | INSPIRE ME - Institut, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

What I like best about Adobe Firefly is how seamlessly it integrates generative AI into the creative workflow, allowing me to generate high-quality visuals quickly while maintaining creative control, brand consistency, and professional-grade results.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

What I dislike about Adobe Firefly is that some generative results still require manual refinement, and certain advanced features and language support are limited compared to the speed at which creative needs are evolving.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Firefly solves the challenge of time-consuming content creation by enabling fast ideation, visual generation, and creative exploration, which helps me produce high-quality advertising materials more efficiently and deliver more effective, hands-on training experiences.

  ### 5. Adobe Firefly: Early Generative AI for Creatives with Video Generation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian K. | Instructional Technology Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

Adobe Firefly was one of the earliest generative AI platforms aimed at creative professionals, and it also enabled video generation.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

It felt slow to use, and it wasn’t very intuitive at first. I also hit the credit limits pretty quickly, even though I was on a premium plan.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generative AI embedded in a creative platform I already use, with a focus on the integrations I’m familiar with and actively rely on.

  ### 6. Elevates Creative Projects with Ethical and Powerful Imagery Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

I use Adobe Firefly for generating imagery and audio. It's a very competent image generator, and I especially appreciate that there's an ethical concern about not scraping artwork from others. I find the imagery produced to be detailed and of high level. Recently, I've most enjoyed the text-to-audio feature, which is quite mind-blowing. It's web-based, so the initial setup is simple with virtually no setup needed—just get used to what is what.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

I find the text to audio feature sometimes 'hit and miss', but I feel that might be due to my lack of providing the correct prompt. It would be helpful if the tool could provide suggestions to achieve a certain outcome or understand what I might be aiming for.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Firefly solves the need for stock imagery and helps me adapt my ideas to get closer to what I'm looking for.

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

It is simple to use and an easy sign in getting you right to the action. I also like how you can pull from other AI models all under the same umbrella.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

I did not experience too many downsides. I will say the credit limit is annoying and the monthly fee for pro amd standard seems a bit high compared to others.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe firefly gives us an easy to use opportunity to generate high quality ai images using a plethora of tools in tandum like generating vidoes and editing. This helps us generate images that we need easy and fast.

  ### 10. Intuitive Design, Broadens User Range, But Needs Smoother Transitions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam M. | Senior Technical Writer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

I really appreciate the prompt guidelines feature in Adobe Firefly. As someone who has started using AI fairly regularly, I find it valuable that this tool provides guidance on how to prompt effectively, which is something most tools don't offer. This feature not only helps me but also allows people who are less familiar with AI to generate outputs that are fairly close to what we need with minimal training, which is a huge advantage. It's great that the tool has these guidelines built-in, enabling users to create suitable images by incorporating details from our corporate branding guide like colors, styles, and fonts with ease. This makes the process efficient and allows a broader range of people to contribute, thus saving time and reducing complexity. Additionally, Adobe Firefly's user interface is straightforward and consistent across their products, which makes it intuitive and easy to use for everyone. Overall, my experience with Adobe Firefly has been very positive, and I found the setup process smooth and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

I found issues using Adobe Firefly with hex codes for corporate colors due to a recent rebrand. The process of replacing existing content with new colors was complicated. The system did not allow for straightforward color changes within existing designs, necessitating starting from scratch for edits that should have been simpler.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Firefly to reduce time and complexity in creating images, enabling more team members to contribute. It allows us to use our branding guidelines easily, facilitating quicker generation of suitable graphics.

Also integrated with other Adobe tools, so I can easily move my results into Photoshop or Illustrator for final editing.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

Some outputs can feel repetitive or generic, especially with common prompts. Certain advanced features are limited unless you have a full Adobe subscription, which can be frustrating.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me quickly create visuals and design concepts without spending hours on manual design work. It solves the problem of time-consuming graphic creation and allows me to experiment with ideas faster, which improves productivity and creativity.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerron S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

I like using Adobe Firefly for concepting and ideation for motion graphics and other design projects. I appreciate that creating moodboards no longer requires searching for reference images on Google, as it can now be done directly in Firefly. I really like the Firefly boards, which allow me to create moodboards and use GenAI to create in real time. Additionally, the initial setup of Adobe Firefly was easy.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

I would really like if Adobe Firefly had some kind of folder system rather than just an infinite canvas. My full projects usually have sections like moodboards, storyboards, script and at the moment the only way to use this is to have everything on a single giant board.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Firefly simplifies creating moodboards with Firefly boards, streamlining my ideation process. Real-time GenAI capabilities enhance concepting for motion graphics and design projects.

AI-generated images have truly transformed the landscape of marketing content creation. The tool is straightforward to use and its possibilities are limited only by the user's imagination, making it possible to explore entirely new creative directions.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

It is essential to carefully examine the generated images for any issues or potential flaws. These images are far from perfect and require thorough post-review to identify and address any defects.

I also really like that AI is included in the Sampler. The initial setup of Adobe Firefly was super easy, and I never had to really look for anything.

Overall, this software enhances my workflow and productivity significantly, making it a tool that I would not hesitate to consider for future purchases. I also appreciate the integration with other Adobe tools like Express, which complements my workflow efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

I feel like Adobe Firefly is a little expensive. While I use it regularly enough to find it worth the purchase, the pricing feels on the higher side. Additionally, I think that decreasing the limitations on how much AI generation I can use would be beneficial.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

I really appreciate how Firefly allows me to create boards and workflows, making it easy to take a basic project and develop its marketing strategy far beyond just a static image. The AI features are especially helpful, saving me time as I build an effective marketing plan without having to deal with endless, repetitive mouse clicks.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

I would really appreciate it if more generative AI features were accessible to student accounts. I understand that access is determined by credits, but there are so many valuable tools here that I would love to incorporate into my classroom. These tools could truly help prepare the next generation of creatives by giving them experience with future technologies. Unfortunately, the credit limitations mean that many of the exciting features I want to teach my students simply aren't available to them.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Firefly addresses the challenge of time management in my business. It allows me to think creatively and keep pace with the rapid flow of ideas in my mind, without interrupting my creative process or having to extract each thought manually.

  ### 22. Realistic Renders, Clunky Photoshop Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayce G.

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

I really appreciate Adobe Firefly for its ability to generate more realistic renders compared to my previous use of DALL-E. The transition to Adobe Firefly from another vendor proved beneficial because of this particular feature. One of the biggest advantages for me is how intuitive the setup of Adobe Firefly is. I didn't encounter any difficulties which allowed me to start using it effectively right from the onset. Adobe Firefly excels in visualizing my ideas, which I can utilize to produce tailored creative content. This helps me in generating a variety of outputs like photoshoots and graphic illustrations while significantly improving my workflow speed. I also find the image generator feature particularly impressive, as it stands out in supporting my creative process and enhancing my productivity.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

I find the integration between Adobe Firefly and Photoshop to be a bit clunky. It could be better embedded in Photoshop. Additionally, I wish Adobe Firefly would offer more realistic renders and be more specific to the content I've uploaded, like providing photorealistic outputs.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Firefly helps me visualize ideas for creative projects, improving my speed in photoshoots and graphic illustrations with its realistic renders.

I use Adobe Firefly as a plugin in products like After Effects or Photoshop. It helps me edit backgrounds, especially when I want something erased, as it generates a fill that fits perfectly. It works quick, which I really appreciate. The background generation feature saves me time for editing, making it quite valuable.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

There's still a lot Adobe Firefly could do better with generating content that fits. Sometimes it might generate something that makes no sense or looks like horror beyond human comprehension.

I use Adobe Firefly to edit backgrounds, like erasing and generating fills that fit, which saves time.

  ### 24. Speedy Edits, Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cindy C.

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

I appreciate Adobe Firefly for its ability to make photo editing extremely fast and efficient. Tasks that previously took me over an hour can now be completed in less than ten minutes. This drastic reduction in time allows me to focus on more complex projects that involve a lot of design thinking and creative problem-solving. I am also impressed with how seamlessly Adobe Firefly integrates with other Adobe products like Photoshop and Illustrator, which makes my workflow much smoother and more cohesive. The quick edit capabilities are incredibly useful for my daily tasks. Additionally, the evolution and improvement in the software's language comprehension over time have made it a lot easier for me to get better results, although I am still learning to communicate more effectively with it. Overall, the time-saving features and seamless integration significantly enhance my productivity and creative capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

I found the initial setup of Adobe Firefly a bit challenging. Even now, I'm still trying to figure out how to communicate with it effectively to get the best results, and I'm not completely there yet. The language and the method of interaction with the software are somewhat difficult to navigate. Despite improvements over time, it's not entirely intuitive. I'd like more opportunities to learn how to communicate better with the software to optimize my interactions.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Firefly accelerates photo edits, saving me significant time, reducing tasks from over an hour to under ten minutes. This efficiency allows me to focus more on complex design projects.

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

the possibility to make reference images and all possible fine adjustments. There are many settings that cannot be represented verbally.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

Personally, I find it least helpful that you cannot directly say from several images that you want to take something from one image, but then rather modified, and something else from other images. Automation is still lacking here.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have any direct problems. I would like to be able to create multiple iterations of images again, and Firefly recognizes what I like best. So that I personally have more influence on the training of MY Firefly.

  ### 26. Intuitive Interface That Streamlines Image Refinement in Your Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

The interface is very intuitive. The style and structure controls make it easy to refine images quickly, without needing overly complex text prompts. I can also generate assets directly within my workflow, so I don’t have to jump back and forth between different apps.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

The output can sometimes feel a bit too “stock photo” and overly polished. It often lacks the artistic flair and hyper-realism I’ve seen in other generative models. At times, it also ignores negative instructions or doesn’t follow specific spatial placement requests for objects.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me get past creative blocks during the ideation phase. I can quickly visualize several concepts, which makes it easier to present ideas to clients sooner. It also benefits me by automating repetitive tasks such as background removal, which saves me hours of work.

  ### 27. Exceptional Tool for Storyboarding and Scene Mockups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan M. | Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

For generating storyboards and mocking up scenes before I actually make them, this is a great tool. It's also much better than many other AI tools at getting things like the number of fingers right.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

Honestly, it's a little too good sometimes. I'm worried that some people may take advantage of its tools to fake art, instead of using it for what it is designed for.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Firefly is helping me speed up my storyboarding and planning for photo shoots before I spend time shooting models. This is saving me time and money. It's also great for getting ideas on how to change up my designs and photos to emulate different art styles.

  ### 28. Good implementation of image generation.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neftali D. | Corporate Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

Its new update with Nano Banana is definitely what I am enjoying the most right now, it works very well with AI and being able to generate image combinations is very good.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

I would like it to be more integrated with Photoshop, maybe that would make it even more useful, and with Illustrator too, being able to generate logos and modify images with more precision would be something very good.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I always need to create images that help me have a more realistic perspective of my ideas and that the team can visualize in order to create them later; it works very well with the work of any artist.

  ### 29. Rapid Ideation with Minor Image Quality Flaws

Some models do not produce the expected results, and at times they generate incorrect outputs. Additionally, I find that the tools available for customizing the input are insufficient. I believe this aspect could benefit from further improvement.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped us create a generative image with a high degree of realism, which we were able to include in our company presentation as well as on the company website.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

I like the idea of it, the promise of it. It would be great to get the creative I need quickly and easily, with just a few prompts. But I don't feel that it lives up to the promise.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

The photos are no more specific or useful than generic stock photos. At the end of the day I don't see it as a replacement for actual photography. It would be great if Firefly could be used for more resource heavy applications, but it can't.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now it is solving problems or low fidelity comps and concepting. I can put together "the general idea" of something for client approval. And that is nice.

**What do you like best about Adobe Firefly?**

It's very intuitive to use! Also, I love that there are a ton of beautiful graphics and content to take inspiration from right out of the gate.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Firefly?**

At times, I find it somewhat challenging to locate certain features I want to use, such as taking an existing photo and editing it with text prompts. Additionally, my workplace's account does not include access to video features. While this isn't exactly Adobe's fault, I do wish that all features were available in a single paid plan, much like what Canva offers.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whenever I need content in a hurry and can't locate a suitable real photo, this tool truly changes the game for me. I really appreciate how I can take an idea and watch it come to life almost instantly.

I would like to be able to send my generations to the gallery from the Firefly Boards, as sometimes I generate directly from there. I would also like to be able to generate faster. I also would like to have clear error messages regarding generation restrictions, with suggestions in which words are not allowed, so I can remove them from my prompts.

**What problems is Adobe Firefly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all my generations in one place with Adobe Firefly Boards, this is the best.

It allows me to quickly create fun and visually impressive graphics for my social media campaigns in a creative way. My designs often get noticed and receive compliments regularly.
