Rachel is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable about the product. I make sure to keep her posted when we have big meetings scheduled where the company will review our strategic plan with the Board of Directors or Executive Committee. With those dates in mind, she checks in to make sure we are on the right path. As for the software - it is extraordinarily user-friendly and easy to use. While there is a learning curve, once you have done things a few times, it is very natural. Not to mention, there is likely a how-to guide and/or video on the website to remind you of the steps. I have found that the development team is very open to suggestions and feedback - they want to know if something is not working for the customer. **What do you dislike about AchieveIt?** I have not had any issues with the product or the company. My company's main pain point has been understanding the importance of reporting/tracking the strategic plan as well as the overall importance. It is a work in progress but AchieveIt team members have even worked with me and provided me resources on how to help with the internal transition. **What problems is AchieveIt solving and how is that benefiting you?** AchieveIt is the first software we have implemented to develop and track our strategic plan. Before using AcheiveIt, departments operated in silos, and there was often a duplication of work. What I love about using AchieveIt is that it helps me to stay on top of each area, not only at work but with my personal goals as well. I've really started to utilize the "Check List" function which allows me to break down long term goals and make sure I approach them in an organized fashion. With the monthly updates I receive through email AchieveIt makes sure that all of my tasks are up to date monthly. **What do you dislike about AchieveIt?** The only thing I can think of that would be better is if the numerical values entered could calculate themselves instead of me adding them up. It's really not much of an issue though because the previous value is in the notes below. As I continue to use the system I might have more feedback. **What problems is AchieveIt solving and how is that benefiting you?** AchieveIt keeps me on top of my many responsibilities and is able to keep a track able record of what I've accomplished. Most importantly, team members want to use it. I was able to create my first strategic plan on my own before receiving training. Joe Krause, VP of Customer Engagement at AchieveIt, led an introductory workshop for our team members. Some attendees were so impressed their offices have expressed interest in acquiring AchieveIt licenses for their internal performance management use. Everyone hated our last system. It was complex, prone to mistakes, and had no visualization capabilities. Worst of all, the annual cost was at least three times the annual cost of AchieveIt. **What do you dislike about AchieveIt?** We have some important information specific to NASA that can't be highlighted with the available fields. We have to add it to the comment fields as an interim solution while the AchieveIt staff explores options. **What problems is AchieveIt solving and how is that benefiting you?** AchieveIt has ensured that we are doing reliable data gathering and storage. It also has resolved version-control issues by returning performance measure reporting to the measure owners. We could completely customize to our needs and use language our organization was already familiar with. I loved seeing all of our work in one organized view. **What do you dislike about AchieveIt?** One thing I don't like about AchieveIt is the dashboards. I felt like they weren't super helpful, and it was just a massive data dump in a PDF. We often had to use the language from the updates to recreate a more simple dashboard for our leadership teams. This isn't AchieveIt's fault, but our leadership team also wasn't fully bought in. If I could go back, I would have championed for the leadership team to get more training and get more familiar with the dashboards. If they don't look at AchieveIt, everyone else feels less inclined to use it. **What problems is AchieveIt solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have never had one place to view all initiatives within our Strategic Plan. Having this view at the system and market levels has been wildly helpful. We also have never had a place to track progress - it's always been an objective "we're on track" or "we're a bit off track" with no real accountability. Now we can tell what is on track and off track and then take the necessary measures on initiatives where we're not meeting the mark. One other way AchieveIt has benefited us is in terms of KPIs. It's helpful to receive progress updates because have multiple deliverables for several working groups. Another benefit is the ability to use any email. We work with several faculty who have UPMC emails versus Pitt, so allowing others to use whatever email they prefer is helpful. **What do you dislike about AchieveIt?** I do not have anything I do not like about it. It is straightforward to use, and we received extensive training. It's a very clean, intuitive and easy to use application that we were able to pick up very quickly. Our support team has been top notch and our on-site training was engaging and fantastic - and from a non-application standpoint had lots of really useful tips on developing workable and successful plans. **What do you dislike about AchieveIt?** We're still pretty new to it, so haven't had a chance to get too frustrated about anything yet. Wish it could integrate with Office to keep track of initiatives outside of the platform. **What problems is AchieveIt solving and how is that benefiting you?** Its keep tracking of our marketing/outreach efforts as a service line by organizing reports within our respective regions in one centralized location. With myself and my counterparts, its helping managers quickly get a feel for the efforts occurring in each region without having to do a deep dive into daily/weekly reports. The AchieveIt staff checks in often throughout the process- not only during onboarding but even after the product is in use. **What do you dislike about AchieveIt?** I don't know that there are specific things I don't dislike. One suggestion we had was to have a spot where you could archive completed goals so you could see them in a list but do not see them in the tree view as a goal yet to complete. **What problems is AchieveIt solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had a plan on paper that was not as easy to update or track. This feature has resulted in us being able to CANCEL MEETINGS that were previously held to be able to update the project team on the most current status of items. If we weren't able to cancel the meeting entirely, we were able to drastically shorten its duration so we could focus only on the items that were coded as "off track" - didn't need to spend time talking about things that were progressing as planned **What do you dislike about AchieveIt?** Hmmmm...been using the product for seeral years, and many of the functionality items I've requested have been added. The only thing on my 'nice to have' list at the current time would be adding a date field for when to start sending a custom report. **Recommendations to others considering AchieveIt:** Don't hesitate - jump in with both feet **What problems is AchieveIt solving and how is that benefiting you?** Project management is a breeze using Achieveit, once you get the project set up.
