What do you like best about aACE?

I value aACE's tight integration between manufacturing job costing and the general ledger because it automatically populates financial entries when we log material usage, making our US GAAP quarterly close easier. The built-in transaction trails simplify SOX audit preparation. I also appreciate the ability to adjust retention settings to properly manage customer PII and satisfy CCPA requirements, which is crucial for our Dallas fabrication business. Custom-built reporting is another strong point for our metal fabrication work, allowing me to build tailored reports to compare estimated versus actual costs for jobs and flag material waste early. Its BOM management handles multi-level component assemblies smoothly, and the full audit trails make SOX audit prep far less stressful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about aACE?

Its native API is fairly limited, so syncing inventory updates to Shopify through Zapier can lag during busy production shifts. Building very complex multi-layer custom reports requires clunky workarounds. Batch costing calculations slow down noticeably at quarter-end. There is no out-of-the-box template for CCPA PII retention, so I have to manually tweak each record setting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
