# Which community association management tools support ACH payments and automated late fee processing?

A late fee that requires manual application is one that gets applied inconsistently.

From what I've seen as well, a late fee that has to be applied by hand is applied inconsistently, so the real test is whether the rule fires on its own based on the billing status. ACH support is common; genuinely automated, rules-based late fees are the part that varies. Worth pressing vendors on whether the processing fees scale with your portfolio, since that is where the cost quietly builds.
