They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about Ubiquity?** Ubiquity hardware does tend to have an excellent lifespan. I've never had to replace Unify hardware due to a fault or failure. Typically, the hardware will last long into the following lifecycle of innovation in networking. **What do you dislike about Ubiquity?** The software tool used to manage the hardware is atrocious. It must continually be running on a dedicated piece of hardware to manage the WAPs and Switches. This wouldn't be as much of a headache if the software didn't lose connectivity to the networking devices regularly. Add to that the fact that when firmware updates process, the equipment has the propensity to lose its connection to the management engine, and you're left with something difficult to manage when you need to reliably. **What problems is Ubiquity solving and how is that benefiting you?** We no longer use Ubiquity network devices. We have found other, more easily managed systems to replace them. When cost is a defining factor, we will recommend them but are sure to point out their management shortcomings. ### 2. Software controller configs and User interface templates are great. We handle ISP operations, dealing with multiple wireless corporate clients connected via devices like outdoor/indoor Ubiquity devices: M5400/500-Beam, Ubiquity: UniFi AP, etc. *For leased line clients in our network, we use Ubiquity outdoor Air Pro M5 400/500 beam devices for wireless feasibility, and indoors we use UniFi® AP for net access. *For outdoor ubiquity access points, we need a 360 LOS clear area to connect to another end RF device. Ubiquity devices are ultra-lightweight with incredible range, large area coverage, and disruptive pricing. *They provide excellent wireless connectivity for long-distance, including features like noise reduction, reliability, and network stability. *Practically: Ubiquiti Networks PBE-M5-400/500 Power Beam outdoor AP: its working range (area of coverage) is approximately 2-3 Km with a maximum throughput of about 145-150 Mbps, great noise immunity, and support for 2.4 and 5 GHz bands with high performance. *Indoor access point coverage range is approximately 100-150 meters with a maximum throughput of about 100 Mbps, supporting the 2.4 GHz band with great network reliability. **What do you dislike about Ubiquity?** * None but some wireless security concerns need to improve security for data authentication. **Recommendations to others considering Ubiquity:** Highly recommended for ISP enterprise link connectivity operation. **What problems is Ubiquity solving and how is that benefiting you?** *Ubiquity AP has large area coverage and can connect multiple (up to 4) connections to one access point with great performance and reachability. *Ubiquity setup is very easy and the configuration part can be done without extra effort. ### 5. In our networking field, we use Ubiquity Powerbeam M5 as our wireless device to provide wireless connectivity to our clients. The best thing about Ubiquity Powerbeam M5 is that it is very understandable and very easy to access. The security performance is also too good as we can set a password for it. **What do you dislike about Ubiquity?** Nothing to dislike but it does not work properly in bad weather conditions. **Recommendations to others considering Ubiquity:** The best wireless device for small industry. **What problems is Ubiquity solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Ubiquity Powerbeam M5 as our wireless device. If a client has some speed issue or network issue, then we get the access of Ubiquity Powerbeam M5 and check the WAN and LAN traffic and do further troubleshooting. Ubiquity M5 is best and good for wireless communication. Ubiquity M5 is too easy to install and configuration is also easy. The Light weight factor of Ubiquity makes it very simple to place it anywhere. We can also have remote access to it easily. For security reasons, we are also able to set a password which makes it more secure. **What do you dislike about Ubiquity?** Due to bad weather conditions, it might not work well and would not provide constant speed. **Recommendations to others considering Ubiquity:** For small businesses, it's the best wireless communication device. **What problems is Ubiquity solving and how is that benefiting you?** Through Ubiquity, we are able to provide wireless WAN connection to our clients. It is helpful for enterprises. We are using Ubiquity M5 model as a POP devices in our network. We are monitoring ubiquity devices using centreon application. The ubiquity wireless access points really work well. We are easily able to transfer our data up to 100 Mbps. **What do you dislike about Ubiquity?** It is wireless. We require a POE device to power the Ubiquity devices. If we restart the POE adapter, our Ubiquity device also restarts. It is easy to configure. We are remotely configuring the devices. **What do you dislike about Ubiquity?** It's a wireless connection, so sometimes it fluctuates.
