<p>For field and phone-first people, what worked wasn't a native app, it was meeting them where they already are. Almost nothing in this category is a true native mobile app anyway, most are responsive web, so asking shift workers to download and log into another tool is where participation quietly dies. Sideways 6 sidestepped that by living inside Teams, if it's already on their phone, submitting an idea is just another message with no new login. For a more mixed desk-and-mobile team, Ideanote held up well across devices and its shareable board links drop straight into a chat, so people submit from wherever they are. So I'd stop hunting for a native app and pick based on where your people already spend their day, embedding beat both standalone web and native for us.</p>
