I also like working with my client contacts at Traliant, they seem to actually care about their product. **What do you dislike about Traliant?** The videos are perhaps a little hokey but I am never seen a set of training videos that were done with great production quality anyway. The service is also a bit pricey for what it is but I know that the videos will be compliant so it is something you just have to deal with. **What problems is Traliant solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need to have harassment training for California legal compliance and Traliant has been providing us with that for many years. Now, we have also added HIPAA training as we are a medical business. This has been a nice addition for us. We also require workplace violence prevention training for California compliance and we have this as well. ### 2. I used to wish they would do more with the setup, but now that I understand it, it’s much easier for me to handle the updates as our program changes and our policies are updated. **What problems is Traliant solving and how is that benefiting you?** I run a small organization that needs to meet California training standards, and this has eliminated the tiresome in-person sessions while still allowing my employees to complete the requirements on their own time. Usually with certain web based platforms being used for mandatory training it's very easy to turn away from the actual training material and completely avoid what you're actually training in. When using Traliant it was wondefully nothing like that. Getting into the training was an easy as can be and getting your certificate of completion was also as easy can be. Harassment training can often be said to be a drag and confusing, but doing this with Traliant was the farthest thing from it. Access to the training and completing the training made this a A+ tool. **What do you dislike about Traliant?** It's hard to point to a downside about using Traliant. I wouldn't call it a downside but the training is so engaging that eventually you will only pay attention to the training module that you are completing and can't multitask on another endeavor. Though as I said could that actually be considered a downside? **What problems is Traliant solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's solving the problems of having the workplace all know exactly what the many forms of workplace harassment are, how to point them out and how to avoid it. Many workers often go too far in workplace behaviors and actually don't know what they are doing can be considered forms of harassment. The traliant training course easily points it out with well timed examples and helps anyone taking it understand quite easily what needs to be learned about proper workplace behavior in relation to harassment. ### 4. The course was fully engaging because of the videos , quizzes and extra bonus points. It helped keep our employees engaged, and allowed them to complete the course at their speed. From an admin and as user standpoint, Traliant is very user friendly. Implementation was easy. All I had to do was import employee information, and the employee information was an instant. I'm able to easily assign courses to individuals and specify different due dates along with different reminders with no issues. Once employees are completed, I can immediately download their certificates. Not only that, but the report dashboard show charts of current, past due and completed assignments for the employees which is awesome. Can't wait to purchase more courses for our employees. **What do you dislike about Traliant?** It's a minor detail, but I would like to see if there's a way to include a cc person when I assign courses to employees. For example, as I'm assigning the course, I would like to receive the email for the Introduction that is being sent to the employee and when they complete the course without having to log in to see if they completed the course(s). **What problems is Traliant solving and how is that benefiting you?** Traliant does automatic reminders for the employees that have not completed their training without me having to manually check to see who has not completed the course(s) and emailing them. ### 15. This is not good fit for someone looking for a "big company" environment. Your work is not going to always have clear step-by-step instructions. I've bee in my profession long enough to know when a product is positioned to dominate its market and also when a team culture is toxi. It saved us time as trainers who would show the videos and sign off manually, whereas Kantola made it one click of a button and created the certificate for us. As an HR person, it was great for auditing and tracking who completed their training as well. **What do you dislike about Traliant?** It seemed a bit pricy, so we had to carefully watch how many users we had/people set up. With this, we only set up office people to draw the line and save money. **What problems is Traliant solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allowed employees to complete training on their own time and take however long they needed. We used it for harassment training, however, if we would have implemented it for job training (we never got to that), I think it would be fantastic to use and well worth the money. Employees enjoy it more than just a lecture. It also has examples that are accurate for current times so it has adjusted to modern technology examples. The employee feedback we have receivued has been positive. **What do you dislike about Traliant?** No issues so far. All the things we've come across have been addressed by the support team. The second rollout was a little more complicated but the support team guided us through it. The admin side of it though could use an update because with the actual training being so modern, the admin portal just seems a little outdated complared to everything else. It would also be beneficial if the rollout was automated. These trainings have to be taken every two years. Right now we have to manually roll out the training every two years. It would be nice if the system could tell when the two years are expiring for an employee and that it would automatically send an email that their training is coming dur again so that they could log in and take it again. **Recommendations to others considering Traliant:** Ensure the examples that are used in the training match your industry and are accurate for current times. You also want to make sure that when you are setting it up, all employees are categorized correctly so that the rollout accurately assigns the employee and manager versions. **What problems is Traliant solving and how is that benefiting you?** It satisfies the legal requirements in California. The training is interactive and keep employees engaged. We have notice it does take longer than the one and two hour requirements but the majority of employees don't seem to mind. We have gotten positive feedback from employees about the content. ### 45. I had to go elsewhere for this training last year because there was no new production. With Covid, I understand...and was reassured that there would be a new episode this year, which there is!
