What I like best about Statuspage is how it enables transparent, real-time communication during incidents. It provides a centralized, easy-to-use platform to keep customers and internal teams informed with timely updates, which helps build trust, reduce support inquiries, and improve overall incident management

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

One area for improvement in Statuspage is customization and flexibility. The layout and reporting options are somewhat limited, and advanced automation or deeper integrations often require higher-tier plans. More granular control over components, notifications, and analytics would make it even more effective

**What problems is Statuspage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Statuspage solves the problem of fragmented and unclear communication during incidents by providing a single, reliable source of truth for system status and outages. It benefits me by reducing manual updates, minimizing support inquiries, and ensuring customers and internal teams receive timely, consistent information, which improves trust and operational efficiency.

I appreciate Statuspage for its effectiveness in fostering communication with clients, allowing me to provide them with clear and precise updates on the status of our services. Moreover, the platform's internal functionalities add value by enhancing our team's capacity to efficiently manage and monitor our services.

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

I want to see a more transparent learning trajectory for this tool. Having a structured learning path offered by the brand would facilitate a quicker adoption of this solution for organizations.

Utilizing the status page allows us to centralize various tools typically used internally, ultimately saving time by eliminating the need to switch between individual app status pages. This approach provides better clarity, especially in the event of alerts.

What i like the most about Statuspage is that it allows me to easily stay in touch with my clients and clearly update the state of our services for them. I also like the possibility of internal use.

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

I would like a more clear learning path for this tool, a certification is not really neccesary but at least a learning path provided by the brand could help to adopt this solution faster for organizations.

It helps my organization and client by automating the procces of communicating to everyone the state of our services. Without it there would be a lot of work contacting clients and stakeholders.

The most helpful thing about StatusPage is real time updates and seamless integrations.

I would say the price is a bit higher and a user who is new to Atlassian ecosystem might find a learning curve.

**What do you like best about Statuspage?**

First of all it's an amazing piece of software since it's hosted and operated by Atlassian. It has great reputation - every serious company on the technology and internet field is using it - because the visualisation is as simple can be while it can integrate great API connection and the possibility to add third party statuses that someone maybe using in their software, by providing live updates for the health of their system.

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

It doesn't have an automated system to check if a service is accessible or it responds with a 200 OK status code.

**Recommendations to others considering Statuspage:**

It just works and you don't need to worry about anything. It handles the notification of the subscribed users with ease.

**What problems is Statuspage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manitoring manually many third party programs and software a that we are using for our service. When we locate an issue we can definitely check the availability of the services directly from statuspage's page.

**What do you like best about Statuspage?**

We like the easier way to keep an eye on all incidents that we have on or daily basis; it is an excellent way to keep organized in our team  and have all alerts in our hands, and in this way, all of us are in sync.

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

It is not a thing that I dislike, but in our case, we don't have visibility on the billing part, as a 3rd party managed this. so I don't have another thing that I can put as dislike all good on this platform

if you consider to centralized all your apps in a monitoring platform, it is an excellent option,

**What problems is Statuspage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The status page helps us to centralize most of the tools that we usually need to use internally, and we have the benefit of saving time to be switching between the status page of each app and to have better clarity in case of any alert.

It delivers the bare minimum but there's very little customization.

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

It is a VERY expensive platform for SaaS providers with smaller numbers of clients/users. The Free plan is genuinely useless and the next step up is $360/year.

**What problems is Statuspage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits are limited and the lack of a connected changelog tool means I still have to maintain separate platforms for this sort of communication.

We wanted a place where our customers can see the current status of the application. StatusPage makes this easy to do and is very customizable.

**What do you like best about Statuspage?**

Statuspage has an easy-to-use interface that allows you to quickly create a professional-looking status page so you can easily communicate disruptions to the world.

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

Since a few months Atlassian accounts are required when using Statuspage. Atlassian accounts are very difficult to manage in a complex interface with hundreds of screens, groups, and options. To use Single Sign On you need to claim your domain, which means claiming all accounts that anyone ever used at any Atlassian product. Users that have nothing to do with the team that needs a status page suddenly get e-mails about their account being claimed and suddenly count towards your bill unless you manually move them to a new group. Either you use Statuspage along with all other Atlassian products, or it's completely useless because of all the additional work you'll have managing accounts for people that aren't even in your team.

Don't use it unless you already use all other Atlassian products

**What do you like best about Statuspage?**

Statuspage is really simple to use what is exactly what we need once we want to update our clients about the service issues as soon as possible. It allows for great customization.

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

We would love some improvements in the designs of the product, moreover, we feel like our suggestions to Product team are not being heard. Moreover, we feel like there is no proactive suggestions from the team on new/existing features.

We implemented this solution to proactively keep our clients informed about possible outages and issues with our services. It is easy to uodate all clients at the same time.

Status page is very nice looking, has all the features you need and it just works. Simply and efficiently.

The cost of the service makes it less attractive than other competitor status pages.

Statuspage.io provides a wonderful resource for quick reference if your systems are up and running, and if implemented correctly you can let others know when things are down so that they don't spam your customer service people. 

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

Statuspage.io is limited in its number of products it integrates with. It works wonderfully with the products it does integrate with, but due to its smaller number of integration, you might have to switch or add services in order to use it.

Check to see what other products they integrate with before purchasing. 

**What problems is Statuspage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this as a fast access to check our system health and cross-reference if there are areas we need to fix. For the most part its benefits have already shown to be worth it, however, we hope to see it be more efficient as we implement it further.

'We didn't hear about it sooner'. I think this fact need to improve in system

I would say it is good in managing our communication with multiple people really bring ease in my daily task.

The user interface is very friendly for administrators and consumers/customers. The uptime has been create, customers seem comfortable with the service (seeing it as a sign of maturity). The company has a solid reputation which gives credibility to companies using it

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

Pricing is very expensive and high for the services offered. Particularly, since it's subscriber based pricing, costs grow as the business grows. While it makes business sense for Statuspage, the service offering does not increase as the price scales.

Consider cost and pricing model, may lose customers over high pricing model that doesn't scale well with business.

Statuspage.io allow us to effectively communicate with customers about potential issues and show how technical issues are being quickly resolved.

I like that It is easy to set statuses of our APIs and portals.  It has a robust set of features to allow for types of interruptions, and how to schedule a window. I love that it is easy to integrate with Slack!

I dislike that we have downtime, but that's not Statuspage's problem!

Give it a try.

Communicating when we are in maintenance or have a service interruption.  We benefited by not having to develop something to do this.

**What do you like best about Statuspage?**

One of the best things about Status Page is it eliminates so many of the concerns I have in day to day operation. Whether its a bug in our software, an issue a client may have, or even our website direction, Status Page is always up and running and is my second in command I would say. It helps me keep in touch with contacts and I never have any concerns about our webpage being down and not being able to reach out to clients.

I would say the only dislike is why didnt my company obtain this software sooner!

I am solving this issue of worrying whether or not there is an issue with my website, contacts or other supply problems, Status Page always has my back.

**What do you like best about Statuspage?**

Great and clean interface. Allows for issues to cascade to different items tracked. For example a down endpoint can trigger different levels of outage across the tracking. It was very freeform and sufficient to for our needs.

Some pieces were not clear. For example we ended up with more issue templates than I would of liked.

We use it expose our latency and uptime. It also has basic notification support for our subscribers if a issue does occurs.

Easy to set up. Simple but polished layout. Option to subscribe via email.

Really no issues. Easy to use from an exec perspective.

We needed an external tool to validate our product uptime and to have a way to let customers and internal stakeholders now when we have a status disruption. Statuspage is great because you can customize the alerts you get (do you want to just check the page? or get emails?).

**What do you like best about Statuspage?**

1. Super easy to use - anyone on my team can step in and update the page in an emergency without any special training. It was also very easy to set up and configure when we started with the product. 

2. Really good support. I recently complained about a product change that I didn't become aware of until the middle of an outage (which was very stressful!) and the rep responding gave a detailed, sympathetic, thoughtful response that totally turned me around! 

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

Honestly not much. There are some limitations in page customizations--you might have more control at the highest subscription level but we couldn't do a fully custom page, which was not a huge deal. 

**Recommendations to others considering Statuspage:**

Honestly, it's a great tool for the price. I would strongly recommend it against a homegrown solution--you don't want to be relying on your own tech in the middle of an outage! 

**What problems is Statuspage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Having a status page that's hosted outside of our own products--if we're down, we don't want our status page to go down with us!! 
2. Send live updates during an incident to subscribers via SMS & email. 
3. Projecting an image of trust & transparency with live integrated response time & uptime metrics.

**What do you like best about Statuspage?**

Statuspage helps us a lot with just making sure our customers are informed on what the heck is going on if there's an outage, slowdown, or just some issue in general. We really like the transparency overall, especially when we're trying to fix the actual problem that may be going on that's keeping us down or slow. 

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

The feature set isn't too great. We'd like a lot more, particularly the stuff we end up getting from PagerDuty for example. Just find a lot more value if we could segment or divert alerts depending on what we're trying to do. Nevertheless enjoy the product and get a lot of value for the price. 

**Recommendations to others considering Statuspage:**

Make sure you have all your settings set up before going live. I'd actually recommend using statuspage in a staging environment first so you can see how it'll look and feel to your customers before you run into an actual issue. This'll prevent any major problems popping up while a real crisis occurs.

Statuspage let's us make sure our customers are aware of what's going on when, especially when it comes to an outage or slow down that's happening with our products.

that the incident alert is instant. Monitors multiple daemons and reports back almost instantaneously

Very little to dislike, need to implement more daemons but thats more like an internal enhancement.

not too much to dislike - works well for use case which is getting info out about status of app whenever something is altered

If you are a growing start up and want to have a simple status page, but don't want to maintain it, status page gives you a very reliable and simple to use API for all your needs

The system is very simple, haven't found anything that I don't like

I love being able to direct our customers to one central place for critical system downtime and maintenance alerts.

**What do you dislike about Statuspage?**

There is really nothing I dislike. I think the company should continue to solicit customer feedback and integrate the ideas that make the most strategic sense for this long term vision.

We solved the issue with alerting our customers of production related downtime in a timely and centralized area. We have significantly reduced our support calls and angry customer calls.

I personally use this for my companies Uptime and it's 100% amazing I've never had any issues with their services really a dumby could figure it out!
