**What do you like best about Schoox?**

I love that Schoox is easy to navigate and offers 'walk-through' assistance, which helps our employees, especially those not familiar with Learning Management Systems. The walk-through feature guides them through multiple scenarios. The Reporting feature is fantastic because we can generate many reports and schedule them for managers. We have the ability to customize these reports by adding or moving data columns and using filters for precision, which I find very useful. The integration with our payroll system using the API is seamless, as it automates the removal of terminated employees and the creation of new training accounts. Additionally, the flawless interaction between Schoox and Zoom, where meetings and attendee details sync perfectly, has been a huge plus. The support we received from the Schoox team during our transition from Oracle's Taleo Learn was incredibly helpful, as they provided templates and assistance to build our system quickly, making the switch smooth and efficient. I also appreciate how Schoox can accommodate our growing number of employees and brands, and I'm confident it can handle any future expansion.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

Schoox lets us upload our custom Certificate of Completion form as a PDF. Unfortunately, they have that only for the main company, and not for the sub-companies/brands. We would love to upload custom Certificates of Completion for all 14 additional brands we have. Then, be able to insert the data fields over the COC exactly where we want them to appear, and select the fonts we prefer to use.

**What problems is Schoox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Schoox provides us a platform for all training types and allows sharing modules across companies. Its walkthrough assistance helps our employees navigate, and the reporting feature offers customizable and precise data insights.

**What do you like best about Schoox?**

I really appreciate the incredible customer support team at Schoox; they truly understand our problems and help us solve them. I love the relationships we have with our customer support specialists. I also like that Schoox gives us the ability to control our training extensively. We can organize training in a wide variety of ways and develop learning paths for specific groups of people. The flexibility to assign training ad hoc or set it up on a schedule is something I really like.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

I really wish Schoox had a better integration with Google. We're using Google Workspace and facilitate lots of instructor-led training events through Google Meets. We need better integration with people's calendars, so there's a lot of manual work right now. Also, recently we started trying out the performance reviews, and there's still a lot I don't fully understand about how that works. I think I need a bit more information on that.

**What problems is Schoox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Schoox makes it easy to disseminate training, allows self-paced learning, and keeps accurate training records. It lets us organize and control training, develop learning paths, and send reminders. Their customer support is fantastic and problem-solving.

**What do you like best about Schoox?**

Schoox is an exciting platform that we’ve introduced to our organization. From the very beginning, the Schoox onboarding, development, and implementation process has been quite seamless. The customer support team has been amazing and very proactive in responding to our queries. I love the platform—its navigation is intuitive, the look and feel are attractive, and it offers a learning solution that includes engagement, gamification, and the social aspect of learning. Overall, the platform is easy to use and provides great self-help options when needed.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

Nothing much as such but I proposed and enhancement and would like to see polls option to add when we create an onboarding profile.

**What problems is Schoox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gamification, improved navigation, and intuitive tracking and reporting for data and analytics as well as compliance, with the ability to create learning paths and onboarding profiles.

**What do you like best about Schoox?**

Schoox has been a helpful platform for organizing and delivering training across our brands, but what stands out most is the support behind it. The Schoox team has been responsive, kind, and genuinely willing to help us work through questions as we continue building out our learning strategy. I’m also excited to learn more about the AI features, how they can help streamline our processes, and the possibility of integrations so everything works more seamlessly with our tech.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

One downside is that some helpful features may come at an additional cost or may not be included in every package. I’m not directly in charge of the budget, but as someone who helps think through how the platform can support our teams, it can be hard when you see features that could add value but may not be available based on the current setup. That said, this is less about the platform itself and more about package/pricing limitations.

**What problems is Schoox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Schoox is helping us better organize and deliver learning across our teams, while also giving us access to stronger support and guidance as we continue to build out how we use the platform.

The 1:1 coaching and support has been especially helpful. Before connecting more closely with the Schoox team, I had frustrations with certain features and workflows. Once I was able to explain what I was trying to do and where I was getting stuck, the team helped me understand what had been updated, what options already existed, and how to use the platform in ways I had been hoping for.

That support has made a real difference. It’s helped me work more confidently in the system, solve problems faster, and better understand how Schoox can support our performance, training, and learning goals.

**What do you like best about Schoox?**

I think the support system is incredible. Tickets are always answered in a timely fashion. Schoox is very open to feedback as well and often implements suggestions to improve the learner experience. The learner experience is intuitive and easy to use, and the LMS provides a lot more options including things like groups, and games versus many other LMS.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

I wish there were improvements with reporting, including APIs to connect to software like Tableau or Power BI. I also wish there were more customized dashboards that we could create with prebuilt widgets so that we can create executive level reports without needing to download excel files and manipulate them.

**What problems is Schoox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Over the years Schoox has solved many problems and implemented many of our suggested enhancements helping us further improve our learner experience. Schoox has recently implemented the curricula in progress widget in the new experience which is a huge win for our audience as we primarily distribute our education via curricula.

**What do you like best about Schoox?**

I truly appreciate Schoox's extensive resource library and the on-the-job training features they offer, which set it apart from other LMS options. Setting up Schoox was remarkably easy, thanks to the great implementation support, and navigating through the system proved to be simple. The platform has unified our training, which was previously scattered, allowing us to reach various locations digitally. This shift has fostered standardization in creating food recipes and other processes, significantly reducing turnover and boosting employee satisfaction. The improvements have also diminished restaurant-related questions and confusion. The resource library is incredibly beneficial, making materials easy for everyone to access and keeping them up-to-date, unlike our previous system which relied on Dropbox. Additionally, the on-the-job features enable us to effectively evaluate and compare job performance across the team. I am impressed by the ease of use of Schoox, both for me and my team, making it a standout solution that I have recommended to others.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

I find some of the ability to modify and personalize is limited, particularly when it comes to jobs and roles. This limitation requires us to reach out to Schoox more frequently for assistance.

I use Schoox to unify our training, reaching all locations digitally, creating standardization in recipes, reducing turnover, increasing employee satisfaction, and minimizing restaurant confusion.

This is our organization's first time implementing an LMS. Everyone has been great to work with and very helpful. We started using it as a training tool first and now have implemented performance reviews in there as well.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

Not always the most user friendly. Can be hard for managers to assign trainings or figure out how to even find them.

**What problems is Schoox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Was previously all paper for performance reviews - schoox has helped solve this by implementing all online - much more beneficial for tracking purposes not only for employees, managers, but also HR.

Schoox provides a tremendouse about of flexibility. We had a very positive integration experience and love the platform's auto-assignment and reporting features. In addition if we face any issues, the customer support is fast and they follow-up!

Lack of integration with mobile website users.  (Encourage them to use the App!)

**What do you like best about Schoox?**

The Schoox support team is phenomenal from the CSM to the Implementation Managers and the Technical Support Teams. The team members are timely, and solution-focused and work to support in whatever ways are possible and escalate when needed to explore what is possible. The team is also open to feedback and provides opportunities to share thoughts and UX input to help share future enhancements and the overall system. It's also easy to use and has one of the best LMS mobile applications that we've ever used. The system is easy to implement and can integrate with a plethora of other systems to support our business needs.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

The system itself is not visually as sexy as some of the other platforms, however, they are making efforts to improve this already. I would trade the amazing support for a less sexy look any day though!

**What problems is Schoox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Schoox is supporting our ability to serve desked and deskless colleagues, which is vital at our organization. The mobile application and SSO integrations that are available make it easy to use by all of our learners. The system also provides a way for colleagues to access learning in the flow of work and for just in time needs. The groups and Library also allow for different ways to feature content outside of courses and learning paths to appeal to all learning styles. The customizations available in the system also allow for us to set up custom permission needs to support multiple content owners for content management. We also use the branded academies, allowing us to create unique brands and filtered learning experiences for multiple businesses within our organization (all of which have different business and learning needs).

**What do you like best about Schoox?**

The most helpful things I've found about Schoox is that we are able to house both our internal and external trainings in the system.  It makes it incredibly easy to use for both admin and crew members.

Customer Support is phenomenal.  As soon as I reach out for help, I hear back quickly.  I've used several LMS as a teacher and in L&D, I have found Schoox to be the easist platform to use.  

Schoox is used by over 1,000 employees in our company on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

There are times that I have found the system to be "glitchy" BUT I have noticed those kinks getting worked out.

**What problems is Schoox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have over 40 stores in five states.  Schoox has given us the opportunity to disseminate information to standardize our proccesses and techniques.  All of our crew members are learning the same information, and being assessed.  Data is readily avaialble for me to analyze training progress.

**What do you like best about Schoox?**

It is easy to use for both administrators and learners.  The features for both internal and external training are useful.  We have significant video assets and the system allows us to upload and update as needed.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

The reporting tools have improved, but there are still opportunities for more user friendly measurements.

**What problems is Schoox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our prior LMS was not user friendly for administrators or learners.  Schoox has benefited us through the layout of the platform, easy file transfers for maintaining employee data, and being able to incorporate multiple methods of training.

**What do you like best about Schoox?**

Schoox is a user-friendly interface that allows you to work easily in the system, whether you are using a laptop or mobile phone.  From an administrative standpoint, the ability to create hierarchies to disseminate information to a large group of users or to a specific group of users provides flexibility that any company can use.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

The system does not provide consistent capabilities across the platform.  
For example, an option to select all or select specific courses or deselect if "all" is selected within the report builder would be nice to have in the training assignment segment when selecting hierarchical options. 
For example, when selecting a city, I have to select the cities I want to assign manually or select "all", but I don't have the option to deselect when I select "all" to eliminate cities from the list.

Schoox allows our company to provide consistent training across multiple states to thousands of employees.  Schoox delivers the ability to track and steer employees to completion but also to provide a career pathways for growth.

It is intuitive with a user-friendly interface. It allows an organization to leverage basic LMS functions with room to expand on advanced capabilities based on the company's needs.

From an administrative point of view, it has the functionality to build efficiencies to everyday administrative tasks and the flexibility to support a growing organization.

Currently, courses from the Schoox marketplace cannot be part of an auto-assignment rule. One would need to use a work-around and place said external course into a curriculum in order to leverage auto-assignment. This impacts reporting, the onboarding module, due dates, etc.

While the work-around is available, having the ability to auto-assign an external course natively would allow for less confusion for the end user and administrator especially if it's a course that they promote in their marketplace.

Support!  Everyone can play a video, but the depth of the Schoox platform is amazing. But even more amazing is the ongoing support we have received. Not only from our account managers but also from the support team.  Responses are timely, factual, and very helpful.  The hierarchy is so robust we are able to differentiate teams and groups down to the smallest details.  We were with another firm for over 4 years and never once did they act on our suggestions.  In the past 18 months the Schoox team has implemented several of our suggestions including a major change to the Performance module that will be in an upcoming release.   We really appreciate the true partnership we have with Schoox.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

There is so much there it is sometimes a chore to get your hands around.  While easy to get up and going and to fully utilize every aspect of the platform has taken a while to implement.  While this may seem like a downside, it was expected because it replaced two different main learning programs and is supplementing several others so we now work in fewer places and have more controls, but there is a learning curve for this.

Schoox replaced two different learning systems we had and brought our entire company under one platform.  It saved time and money for the company and streamlined the process for our employees.

We have had a great experience with our current CSM. He is very responsive and does a great job trying to understand our needs and demands. He has worked with us to find many ways to adapt the system to meet our needs, which are fairly unique in the LMS world.

Because the system is so adaptable, there are a lot of layers and "quirks".  We've had to create our own system for managing our unique organizational structure. We would also like to use it for track external in-person training with more ease.

Schoox is a very user-friendly and intuitive system. Many tasks like creating courses and curriculums are easy. We like that it is mobile friendly which is very useful for staff training. The helpfulness of their support team is unmatched.  Almost any feature we request, they are able to implement.  They are growing and learning with us, which is appreciated.

The library of available trainings is cumbersome to use.  You always need to contact the 'sales team' when maybe you just would like to purchase a one-off course.  This should be more self-service in my opinion, with an option to contact sales if you would like a specific combiation of courses, a multi-course discount, or another special arrangement.

Distribution of trainings to over 100 sites across the nation -- each site has its own hierarchy which you are able to set up in Schoox.  Local managers have more control in this sutation than with other products I've investigated.  The training manager can empower others to do pretty much anything the other person is comfortable doing.

Schoox had the ability to add training for multiple disciplines, sent our at various frequencies. Sorting employees by their manager and location help organize and track completion rates.

When training large groups that are not all under the same manager it is difficult to sign off on the employees training. I tend to search for each employee individually.

Previously we trained with poet rosters, b are now using Schoox. Tracking training with rosters does not give the data insight into completion percent by individual employee, teams or facility.

I have been using Schoox for about 2 years and I have never had any trouble using this. The volume on all the videos is high quality and easy to hear in a very loud restaurant. There is honestly not complaints here I have never had any problems with this application, signing in is easy as well. In my opinion Schoox is a very high quality app and overall is very good to have. You can also access it on your mobile phone and they have an app ! Which is great for when you are on the go and you want to get things done.

Schoox allows for step by step training that you might not always receive hands on. It goes every every aspect of the position without missing a step. It gives you all the knowledge you need for your shifts to run successfully and the quizzes at the end double check that you soaked up all knowledge it has offered you

While it is a great training program for new hires it can run slow or seem time consuming

While my one issue is it’s slower paced it does help people like myself that prefer hands on, quick training. We move so quick and train so quickly that we miss certain steps or little pieces of knowledge. Schoox prevents that slippage of information. It gives you the baby details you might otherwise forget to teach. What goes on a day dot, how long can butter be left out, etc. It ensures your pupil is well rounded in the knowledge of their area

**What do you like best about Schoox?**

I have always heard that no one is really happy with their LMS.  For me, I am really happy with Schoox and their support team.  For HR teams that work with very limited staff, we want a LMS that is easy to use and easy to manage.  I have used Saba and SuccessFactors and Schoox is so much easier to use and the drag and drop features make it very easy to build a curriculumn.  Visually, the interface is also much more appealing.  I also like the fact that it has AI that will generate course suggestions based on job titles or roles.  Last note here is that it has a performance review option.  It is really a great all in one option with a support team that really works to set you up for success.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

There are still a couple of nuances that I might have experienced in our old LMS that is missing in Schoox, but they are very open to suggestions and have already implemented a few changes based on our feedback.  Something as simple as you can manage the hierarchy in Schoox, but it does not create an org chart like our previous LMS's did.  It sounds very trivial, but for internal audit teams, they depend on that type of access.
We found it difficult to connect LinkedinLearning to Schoox, but found a solution.  Our Skillsoft & FranklinCovey content integrated seamlessly.
The only other thing I dislike is that once an auto-assignment has been created for a specific group, it takes multiple steps to unassign that training.  My understanding is they are aware of this and working on a solution.  
Really, my dislikes are very minor and anytime I have a grievance, they listen and seem to already be working on a solution.

**Recommendations to others considering Schoox:**

Ask for Ray Bronz and Zoey Zaran...they were great!

**What problems is Schoox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduced our LMS overall expense which allowed us to reinvest those funds into more training content.  We have clear career paths, ongoing training thanks to AI, better compliance training reporting and accountability, manage the annual performance review process, and a Library of resources.  Additionally, we have been able to get the entire organization onto one LMS.

Schoox offers a plethora of useful features. The interface itself is extremely intuitive for all learner levels (tech-savvy down to minimal computer inexperience), the platform itself can be customized to match the needs of our company, and the countless features within enable us to lead to business growth through skills management, succession planning, KPIs, etc.   

One final note to touch on is the training orientation they implement to ensure the admins are proficient with the interface before going live, as well as the knowledgeable/friendly Schoox support staff/customer success manager who are available at your fingertips.

**What do you dislike about Schoox?**

In regards to the platform itself there are no downsides to using Schoox. If there is a feature that you wish to see/adjust, Support is always open to making improvements to the interface based on our feedback. This further enforces they care about their customers needs.

Schoox has given us the opportunity to merge and record all our training to one platform. This has increased our training hours, value output for learners, and in turn employee engagement. As we continue to use Schoox we greatly looking forward to seeing even more of the benefits unfold.

Schoox is a great, very intuitive LMS. As the administrator, having no prior experience with managing an LMS, I found it to be extremely easy to understand and utilize. Content creation was super easy and after switching from our previous LMS, there was an 80% spike in user activity, so it's safe to say the end users felt the same way.

The implementation and building process was lengthy, however it was worth it and the timeline was communicated well by the staff.

It’s a buy out of the box product so you need to customize how you want it.  There are a lot of features I didn’t realize it had when I was building our platform at Cheddars that I see now with Cane’s.  The program probably does what you want it to do, but you just need to ask!
