The cost is affordable, other than that the website is fairly easy to use. Support has always been great.

I don't have anything that stands out that would be an answer here.

I've often had trouble with email going directly from my own SMTP and getting blocked by spam filters at various larger institutions (schools, etc.) and I like separating the email from the rest of the website services.

SMTP2GO suspended my account without any clear reason after integrating it with my website for email marketing, claiming unusual activities. I purchased 100k emails but used less than 200 before my account was suspended, leading to a monetary loss. The platform lacks beneficial tools and offers only basic SMTP capabilities, with a complicated setup process. Additionally, there is skepticism about potential improvement due to concerns about the company's practices.

**What do you like best about SMTP2GO?**

After many years developing websites for people, one of the greatest sticking points has been email deliverability from the websites. It is a source of frustration when customers complain about non delivered emails and trying to explain the (sometimes) complex reasons why. 
SMTP2GO is the perfect tool to solve this - easy to setup, simple to use, very very affordable and customer service is great too!

**What do you dislike about SMTP2GO?**

I really can't think of a downside to using SMTP2GO, once the usual DNS entries are made, everything just works!

**What problems is SMTP2GO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transactional emails sent from websites - often a minefield of problems, but by using SMTP2GO it takes all the stress out of it. The added bonus is there are nice features such read reports and link click report. 

This saves me so much time and stress

**What do you like best about SMTP2GO?**

We have deployed SMTP2Go as our SMTP relay for some custome in-house applications. The setup and management is very easy and straighforward and it provide enough granulity in configuration to meet our business and regulatory needs. We really enjoy the account configuration which you can specify different disclaimer and archiving (Compliance BCC ) for each account to meet different requirements for each business unit.  The reporting seems very robust and the email notification about the bounce back remove a lot of admin work to keep our list up to date. The API documentation is great and enabled us to integrate readership data with our CRM easily.

**What do you dislike about SMTP2GO?**

One missing feature would be Inbounbd Parser which we can use API and Webhook to process incoming emails.

Individual account Disclaimer and Compliance BCC configuration.

Ease of configuring DNS to accomodate smtp2go as email gateway.
Customer support is quick and precise.
Features such as sub accounts make billing easily integrated into our billy systems.
Have not had any outages in over 4 years of service.

Historical searching needs work. Dates & Times need to be able to be converted to a selectable "local" time.

**What do you like best about SMTP2GO?**

As an developer for a plansystem for service companies we are sending 10k e-mails each month. Delivery succes is extremely high. Via the API everything can be configurated. Because of that it's easy the implement in my webapplication. Also the webhook is showing a lot of tracking information. Based on templates it's easy to send bulk e-mail.

If you have a question the live chat support is fast. You will get response during the day almost immediatly. 

One word: Great!

Easy integration with Plesk. You need to verify senders to send your messages spam free, but it's a lot of work to change all DNS settings for it, if you have a lot of domains as senders.

**What problems is SMTP2GO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We other service we had a lot of problems with gmail, hotmail/live addresses. The customers of my client have a lot of users that uses that kind of e-mail addresses. A lot of emails got in to the spambox. Now using SMTP2GO for almost 3 years without any problems of sending emails

**What do you like best about SMTP2GO?**

As our company is providing both email accounts and voicemail to email, using a service that we can rely on a daily basis was our priority. We tried other solutions in the past from our own infrastructure to competitors, but the bottom line was that SMTP2GO was able to deliver both our email and voicemail to email 100% of the time. Never had an issue and we are sending 1000's of email per month.

SMTP2GO a few years back had minor issues with bounce back emails but we were able with the help of support to rapidly find a solution that still work today. As we were using the service to deliver email from a cPanel server, we had to change a few line of code in Exim but the tutorials were very helpful in the end.

We were looking for a solution that could prove that the email was delivered, then if it was read or not so using the portal at SMTP2GO to help our customers validated the delivery of emails.

**What do you like best about SMTP2GO?**

When a customer of my website services reported issues with delivery failures on their emails, I had to find a flexible and cost-effective solution quickly. I started looking at the issue with the intention of solving this by cleaning up their email status. When I spoke to a friend in the hosting industry, he recommended SMTP2GO. I quickly scanned their website and signed up on the spot. The whole process was painless and allowed me to provide a reliable service to my customer while being able to use the service myself. I would highly recommend this service as cost-effective and reliable.
I am now offering this option to all of my customer base as an upgrade to my web services.

SMTP2GO's integration with Gmail is incredible. With SMTP2GO, we were able to connect and verify our entire domain instead of individual email addresses, allowing our business to use a professional domain name.

**What do you dislike about SMTP2GO?**

There is not anything to dislike! Sometimes our emails get sent the the "Promotions" tab of Gmail, but this appears to have been fixed after some use.

**What problems is SMTP2GO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business uses Gmail as our email platform. Our business did not have the resources to switch to Google's expensive workplace plan, forcing us to use our own SMTP servers. Running these servers on our own is expensive and time-consuming. SMTP2GO allows our small business to have reliable emails with a professional domain name with ease. Without SMTP2GO, we would have @gmail addresses which negatively impacts sales.

**What do you like best about SMTP2GO?**

SMTP2GO is a lot better than my singing. My story starts like this - I run a nonprofit matching service that connects Carehome residents with volunteers who wish to send them a small letter or gift for Christmas.  There are 100's of Carehomes that are state funded and run but also 100's of private locations. Email interaction with the Carehomes and Volunteers is paramount.  Last year I discovered , that the service I was using ( not SMTP2Go at the time ) , had servers that were blocked by the State Carehomes. It was embarrasing , because we had over 1K emails go out to carehomes but none of the state homes received them - and so didnt register with our service. I discovered this in time , and quickly switched to SMTP2GO. The setup is easy ( verifying is a bit tricky if you arent technical , I am. ) and i could see emails pump through the system. In all 24K emails were sent and the bounce rate was very low.  The SMTP2GO system told me easily , using the filters , which didnt send. I was able to manually follow up on "bad emails". I dont often write reviews - but these are good guys. I have a Starter 10K account with them now , I use this for various other groups Im responsible for .  Their support is quick and easy to access too.

Verifying your domain is a little tricky if you arent technical . This isnt really a SMTP2GO issue , more of a DNS setup thing.

I think the lack of local servers is what i dislike.

Outgoing mail needs to be checked constantly and its good to have a easy to use platform to identify errors when mails go out.
It also gives me a good idea on the health of my Mail Server and reachability of mail going out.
It also doesnt hurt that it saves my online ip reputation.

After trying several tools, some very complex and others too expensive, after finding SMTP2GO I found all the features I needed. The free plan is quite decent, the paid one is spectacular, I can connect the SMTP service with any external APP in a simple way, and better, I can separate it by domain or even create subaccounts to better manage each user.

**What do you dislike about SMTP2GO?**

I still haven't found any reason to submit a review, I've been using the paid service for a few months now and I've connected to about 5 external APPs without any problems.

It makes it possible for emails to be triggered in the applications I have without falling into SPAM, of course I have to have the list checked and ensure that users have the possibility of unsubscribing.

I've used SMTP2GO for years now without ever having any problems.  They have done a great job at making a dependable service.  Wish more companies would do the same.

Honestly, I can't think of one downside to using SMTP2GO, I've thought hard about this even trying to pick on some small aspect and can't find anything, they're just that good.

I needed a bulk email provider as well as transaction based email provider for my apps on the App Store so that my customers can reach me.  We needed to send thousands of emails a month.

SMTP2Go solved a business need for us years ago when we migrated to O365 and didn't want to enable SMTP mail through our main email server. Being able to use SMTP2Go makes our email sending from our websites a breeze and the reporting for usage statistics is terrific. When we've needed support, they have been there to help us, would definitely recommend for anyone needing to send SMTP email.

I'm very satisified with the service and have no negative to add here, the UI is great and the performance is what we expect.

SMTP2Go allows us to securely send email from our B2B and B2C websites as well as used for our on premise ERP. It allows us to send email on behalf of each of our registered users so replies are directed to the correct mailbox for each type of email.

We can setup an account quickly and confugre our devices easily. On the very few occasions that we raise a ticket, it i dealt with very quickly and professionally.

**What do you dislike about SMTP2GO?**

Nothing to dislike, it works perfectly for us as a business and I have no issues to report. Lets me concentrate on more important matters and i know smtp2go will work as expected with no real issues

We had problems emailing from our business system software,M365 caused issues everytime and cost us a lot of time. We also use it for scanning from our MFP's for the sale reason, M365 does not play nice with 3rd party programs or devices, smtp2go fixes all those issues.

It is so simple to use.  If I can use it, anyone can!  The reliability is excellent for a such great value.  You can get a more fantastic deal with an annual subscription. 

I check for its performance and reliability daily and give it a 98% score.   The support is wonderful.  When the technical support people couldn't figure out the delay issue, they switched my account to a more aggressive server.  At least they aim to resolve my problems one way or the other.

Lots of advanced functions you can explore.  Some take more time to digest.  The instructions are sufficient for the advanced functions, but more examples might be helpful.

It helps me with all the transactional emails and marketing emails.  We also use it for all our outgoing emails to ensure they are delivered!  SMTP2GO is the best SMTP solution when you are developing web applications.

Easy to configure separate mail sending accounts, limited by IP address with the ability to see bounce history and manage reporting. Weekly update emails of bounced address and automatic blocking to prevent spam reports is excellent too.

Nothing really! Have been extremely happy with the solution since the start. All the features you could possibly want are included. I have had issues where mail has not been sending due to server issues, but the support team are very quick to resolve when this does happen (approximately twice in the 5 years we've been using them, so not really a complaint!!)

SMTP2Go has been great for our business. It allows multiple sub accounts, so we can track emails sent from different customer servers, Scanners, etc. Other products on the market often require longer usernames that are not compatible with Scanners. SMTP2Go is easy to configure and just works.

I'm struggling to find a negative with the product.

They are a professional email service that doesn't allow spamming or misuse. They monitor usage, bounce rates, and let you know what emails are failing so you can correct the issues. They take pride in what they do - one of the best SMTP services I have worked with. Their support is quick and responsive. And they support multiple accounts - so you can have a different account for each device - this is handy as if one device is compromised, its limited to just one device - you don't then have to change 100 devices. Fantastic service.

Don't really have any downside to SMTP2Go.. Have never had a complaint in many years of using their services.

They notify and think with you when they detect a spam pike from a certain domain.

Setup and ease of access is fantastic for SMTP2Go, it allows us to use a centralised system to send our mail from each of our different applications. 

It's great that we can setup different users to show the person which the mail is coming from. 

The SPAM reports and bounce email reporting allows us to make sure our email details are accurate at all times. We use SMTP2GO for the majority of our transactional email.

**What do you dislike about SMTP2GO?**

I don't really have a negative experience, it would be good if the login remembered my device rather than using multi factor authentication for every login. I'm happy to do so though as I would rather more security than less.

**What problems is SMTP2GO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to be able to send reliable mail from our websites which are running on CPANEL sites, mostly with Wordpress and needed to be able to send authenticated email. I researched and found that SMTP2Go would work best this way. 

We more recently had another example where we send copy statements monthly and will send a few hundred over a very short time period. We were using Office 365 SMTP as part of our O365 subscription but found it was throttling our outbound email per minute and this was causing our process to fail. SMTP2GO allows us to send the whole queue without any delays.

Absolutely nothing.  I do not have a single complaint.

We have had inconsistent results using Office 365 send connectors; we have had problems with old copiers not supporting modern encryption on newer mail services.  SMTP2GO solves all of these as you can use modern encrypted connections, you can whitelist based on IP (no auth required), you can use traditonal username / pass and you can use a lot of different ports.

Can use the port 25 directly. some applications or appliances do not let you use custom ports, other services do not offer this capability. Also some services requires you to use https, configure certificates, and in that case for this data that is not that sensitive and is for home, do not need so much features.

Nothing, in general the current features are good and work as intended

Is a great tool when you need to deliver emails and configure it in a wide set of places. Also give you the ability to create specific users for each sending point, that helps a lot to identify from where the emails come from.

Surveillance. I have cameras of different brands at home and also have some products of different brands that i made work together with some scripts, then i need to receive emails with photos, sound clips or videos of what is happening. SMTP2GO helped me to simplify everything using emails instead of notifications or custom applications. Only configure to send an email using SMTP2GO and can receive the data from the cameras or my scripts.

It is feature rich but easy to use. User authentication, IP whitelisting, rate limits are all available and easy to use. As a MSP it makes easing client issues... well, quite easy! No need to create exchange based relays for printers, use SMTP2GO. 

One of the most underrated features is the auditing capability, it gets quite granular.

**What do you dislike about SMTP2GO?**

I supposed pricing in the mid-range of usage could get a bit pricey but I'll be honest, it is pretty difficult to pick out a real negative here and for me to not have a negative take on software is very rare.

**What problems is SMTP2GO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Limiting the exposure to mail relays by using simple to implement and highly effective relays with SMTP2GO. No more mistake by techs allowing the "bad guys" access or exposing critical infrastructure by accident.

Auditing for us as an MSP is very critical, there are situation where we need to validate deliverability, using an ISP as a relay for a printer makes auditing impossible, SMTP2GP makes this easy.
