**What do you like best about Restaurant365?**

Once you truly decide to adopt the software, and adjust your practices accordingly, the software will meet or exceed the expectations set forth.  Their Customer Support is on top of their game. They are responsive to change requests, and are constantly looking to improve.

**What do you dislike about Restaurant365?**

Their training after the original timeline isn't good, and the Academy videos are outdated and generally not helpful.  Keeping those updated, and having consistent opportunities for more advanced training would help tremendously.

**What problems is Restaurant365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

R365 is helping understand our staffing levels, and adjust accordingly.  They have provided tremendous insight to our COGs, and have shown us ways to improve.

**What do you like best about Restaurant365?**

I use Restaurant365 for my day-to-day work-related activities, mainly to check my work schedule. I love that it has everything work-related stored into one tiny app, saving me tons of storage space on my phone and plenty of time by having one place to look for everything. I find it very convenient and handy to have, and the app never has any bugs or issues—it's a smooth operator. The initial setup was super simple with no issues at all.

the schedule can be adjusted without anyone being notified.

**What problems is Restaurant365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Restaurant365?**

I think what I like most about Restaurant365 is that it's very user-friendly and it's always updating to make it even more user-friendly. There's also multiple forms of help available if needed. It solves our need for accounts payable, bank reconciliations, P and L reporting, and basically everything we need to run the office side of our business.

**What do you dislike about Restaurant365?**

Some things that don't work as well right now are the payroll integrations. When we first got on board with Restaurant365, we were told that it would be a seamless operation between payroll and Restaurant365, and it hasn't quite worked out that way. It needs more integrations and continuing to grow that side of the platform.

**What problems is Restaurant365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Restaurant365 solves our need for accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and P&L reporting, handling everything needed for the office side of our business.

**What do you like best about Restaurant365?**

I like the ability to mark an invoice paid when creating it. I like the bank feeds and matching capability making reconciliations take less time. I like the payment run process - it's pretty seamless.

**What do you dislike about Restaurant365?**

With taking away the Classic Version, they took away the ability to create memorized bank transfers. This caused inconvenience for us. We would love the ability to have easier custom report creation. Setting up the accounting was not bad. We initially signed up for Operations and Payroll but ran into issues with both of these modules and ended up not using them at all.

**What problems is Restaurant365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Restaurant365 tracks day-to-day transactions, marking invoices paid when creating them, uses bank feeds and matching for quicker reconciliations, and has a seamless payment run process.

**What do you like best about Restaurant365?**

I like the bank reconciliation and accounts payable processes through Restaurant365. It's a much easier process than other systems I've used. I also find the Payroll Journal Entry very easy and simple, which is a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Restaurant365?**

I think the DSS repolls need some work. Sometimes it takes too long to come back and when it does some of the entries are missing.

I use Restaurant365 for accounting work, specifically payroll integration. I like how it simplifies bank reconciliation and accounts payable processes, making them easier compared to other systems.

Restaurant365 is exceptionally intuitive. Not all restaurant folks are Tim Cook. Some need an interface that's welcoming, not intimidating. That's Restaurant365! It gets you what you need, and if what's available is not a custom fit, their Support Center always has a solution at the ready!

**What do you dislike about Restaurant365?**

The only thing that's missing is the ability to issue purchase orders for non-inventoried items (both goods and services). I know they're working on it, and when the solution comes through, R365 will be even more robust!

**What problems is Restaurant365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to process a high volume of invoices with a small AP team thanks to AP Capture. And we're getting clearly conveyable data when helping our FOH and BOH understand and track COGs.

**What do you like best about Restaurant365?**

As a Training & Restaurant Technology Manager overseeing multiple stores, I appreciate how Restaurant365 combines accounting, scheduling, payroll, and inventory into one platform. The ease of integration with our POS and payroll systems cuts down on duplicate work and errors, and the number of features available allows different departments to work within the same system. Once implemented, the ease of use makes it simple for managers to handle day-to-day functions, and the frequency of use across locations ensures consistency and visibility for the whole organization.

**What do you dislike about Restaurant365?**

Implementation takes a lot of work and effort. If you and your team don’t set up a lot during this time, adoption at both the store level and corporate level will be tricky and frustrating. The key is to use the implementation process to set up everything you need, and don’t be afraid to ask tons of questions.

**What problems is Restaurant365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Restaurant365 is solving the problem of running multiple disconnected systems for accounting, payroll, scheduling, and inventory. By centralizing everything, it reduces duplicate work, improves accuracy, and saves time for both store-level managers and our corporate office. For me as a Training & Restaurant Technology Manager, it provides one platform to train managers on and ensures consistency across all locations. The visibility into costs, labor, and sales data helps us make better decisions and keeps both operations and administration aligned.

I dislike having to unravel a transaction from a bank reconciliation and bank activity to revise it and then put it all back together, it is a tedious process.

Actual vs Theoretical helps to identify issues with cost of goods sold and sales and labor reports help keep labor costs down.

I find Restaurant365 to be incredibly effective for managing 20 properties efficiently. Its seamless integration for accounting, purchase orders, recipe management, and inventory management greatly simplifies my tasks. The ability to attend conferences enhances my usage proficiency, and it has been instrumental in identifying operational issues through variance analysis. The system’s restaurant-specific design makes it particularly beneficial and user-friendly for my needs, and its setup process was smooth without major hurdles.

I don't like how some items in inventory management break down into cost per recipe instead of the made product, which causes errors in my inventory. This is an issue I am looking to resolve in the future.

I appreciate having all my necessities in one place. The amount of information, that can be pulled with one click, I can monitor and oversee more than one thing at a time. User friendly between all stages of computer knowledge. I run more financially stable businesses using this tool. We use 365 all day in our businesses, customer support is quick and effective with solid follow up.

The old school aesthetic interface. Looks like a Windows 95 program vs a cleaner, clearier view.

Integration between the accounting software and POS has been the biggest problem solver and time saver. We also have seen increased production with the operations team as they are able to get real time data and more accurate, reliable costing information out of the system then they have had in the past.

  ### 14. R365 is the best thing we have done to bring accounting and operations to one system

**What do you like best about Restaurant365?**

It used to take us 2-4 weeks to put out financials at the end of a period and we now have one group of our restaurants that can be done within 5 business days (5 locations) of the end of the period and the other majority of our restaurants that is done within 7 business days (41 locations) of the end of the period. Some of this has to do with their period end dates, Sunday or Wednesday, respectively. With having operations and accounting under one system we can get the weekly inventory posted to the P&L the day after the week ends so it is basically instant access to cogs. They also allow for less manual entry on the back end because the operator can enter everything for inventory straight into a system that is keeping costs updated based on our purchases without the manual updates to an Excel spreadsheet.

**What do you dislike about Restaurant365?**

I know it may not seem like it is a big deal as this is usually a big selling point but there are times that immediate access to data isn't as helpful when you have a multi step process to make sure payroll is posted correctly. Or there is adjustments that have to be made to a labor allocation because it wasn't known before payroll was processed and the manager is looking at their P&L and see payroll is posted but then start asking questions while I'm still trying to complete my process. So you end up with questions about something because they looked 5 mins before you completely finished the process.

**What problems is Restaurant365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency when it comes to inventory. This is because we have our food purchases in the system by item and then they are counting those items and we aren't manually having to track the price because we can set the items up to look at the last cost on the most recent purchase.

I think that the change to automation lost some things in the translation of AP data capture.

**What do you like best about Restaurant365?**

The ease of utilizing with multiple entities.  The online support center is very user-friendly and has a majority of the information needed when questions arise.

**What do you dislike about Restaurant365?**

There are a lot of details to fill in initially and the training from R365 was very generic.  It seemed like the training person was ready from a script and any questions outside of that, were not easily answered.  There were a few things we asked about and were told the system could not do that.  Once we utilized the online support center, we were able to figure it out on our own.  The trainer was extremely nice, it just seemed she had not used the system in the capacity we were using it.

**What problems is Restaurant365 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The operations side of the business needed to replace the POS and R365 is the option chosen to handle inventory.  Then the decision was made to change our accounting software as well.  We were using Sage Intacct which is a very robust system with extension reporting.

R365 has a some hurdles when it comes to integration with some softwares which has caused a bit of work on our end.

We have been using Restaurant365 for 8 years and they are the best accounting company we have found. They are not perfect but they do a very good job of coninueing to invest and improve their platform.

Some things could be more customizable like their commissary shipping slips.

Requiring less people and less hours to do our accounting.

Inventory management,  all the integrations

Bank activity could use some work, ap credits could be in ap payment to apply

Inventory discrepancy,  bank rules and automation
