Clash detection is very comprehensive and easy to use. selection sets and search sets are very handy and useful in making detailed and specific clash detection tests. very potent tool in BIM functions, very good for presentation and export. It makes communicating issues very easy with saved markups and viewpoints. See all the properties and metadata of the component in question as entered in the root software. **What do you dislike about Navisworks?** there is no autosave feature while keeping the undo and redo sequence intact. there is no feature to export clashpoints back to the base files such as Revit, AutoCAD etc. there should be a feature to remove links from federated NWD models that are appended as a whole. there should be a feature to export project base point data and survey point data to base softwares to help in geo-coordinating the models **Recommendations to others considering Navisworks:** Learn how to use clash tests and selection sets, it is very helpful in large scale clash detection, clash tolerances are also handy. if working in BIM, Revit and Navisworks is an impeccable pairing. very easy to use software. **What problems is Navisworks solving and how is that benefiting you?** the Presentation of the completed model and monitoring for clashes is very useful as client was only accessing sheets for construction purposes. A very large number of buildings and in those buildings various disciplines can be appended into a single model no matter the base file or the number of users. a whole town can be monitored as such once the models are clash free we can modify and export shop drawings carefree. so the accountability lies in one place only. NWD and NWC files can be linked back to base files and the new modeling works can done using that as reference. ### 7.
