**What do you like best about InEvent?**

Structured Onboarding: InEvent offers a well-organized onboarding plan with training sessions covering various platform features.

Comprehensive Resources: The platform includes an extensive self-serve knowledge base, which will be valuable for future troubleshooting and learning.
Integrated Platform: A key reason for selecting InEvent was its native, unified feature set - built as one cohesive product rather than a patchwork of acquired software.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

InEvent is a highly configurable, do-it-yourself style platform. This means there is a big learning curve from the past vendors we've worked with, which presents some challenges for our staff, but it also provides flexibility to tailor the system to our needs. We anticipate year one will be lots of learning and some trial and error.

**What problems is InEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were in need of a new event platform, as our previous vendor was sunsetting their product. We were looking for a vendor with a flexible platform that could accommodate some of our more difficult needs, such as limiting user access to certain types of sessions.

**What do you like best about InEvent?**

What I like best about this platform is the combination of strong functionality and exceptional support. The system is powerful, reliable, and truly cutting edge, with new capabilities and improvements being rolled out regularly. This steady pace of innovation makes it easy for us to stay ahead of our event needs. On top of that, the customer service is outstanding—our project manager and the support team are consistently responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive. They also provide support across multiple time zones and regions, along with 24/7 chat support, which has been incredibly helpful when we’re working on tight timelines or after‑hours needs. Altogether, it makes the entire experience smooth and dependable.

We have used InEvent for 2.5 years now.  We do not have any negative comments.

**What problems is InEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform is helping us streamline and manage our events much more efficiently by giving us a reliable, feature‑rich system that continues to evolve with our needs. It reduces the amount of manual work we used to deal with and makes it easier to coordinate event details, track attendees, and keep everything organized in one place.  The strong customer support—especially the responsiveness of our project manager, the global coverage across multiple time zones, and the 24/7 chat support—means issues get resolved quickly, which keeps our workflows moving without delays. Altogether, it saves us time, reduces stress, and allows us to focus more on delivering successful events rather than troubleshooting technology.

**What do you like best about InEvent?**

InEvent is a very complex and robust product, which is a good thing, but it does make it difficult to jump right in and understand all of the features and how to use them. Fortunately, InEvent has layered support that's easy to access and they are extremely accommodating helping users find their way around and figure things out. Beyond that, they're always looking for ways to help me improve my processes and events and often they find little issues that I wasn't even aware of.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

The complexity of the software can make it challenging, but that's the price you pay for a product that does tons of stuff!  I guess my biggest "complaint" would be lack of detail/clarity in error messages. Often the problem that causes the error is relatively simple, but sometimes the error messages don't provide enough feedback that you can figure out/fix the error.

**What problems is InEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing events both large and small, in-person or virtual. It works well for us because we do a little of all of that so it's good that InEvent works for so many of our use cases.

**What do you like best about InEvent?**

There seem to be two tiers of InEvent - one that's incredibly versatile with the ability to white label everything, or one that's very user friendly for small organizations to plug and play. We were working on a very tight timeline, and were able to get everything we needed done given the ability to plug and play and adjust as needed. Customer service is AMAZING. Very happy with our implementation team.

There are still some systems to be improved upon but InEvent has already addressed and adjusted those - namely regarding generating reports.

InEvent can effectively cater to different event types: webinars, conferences, etc. The Live Studio provides lots of customization for creating a personalized and engaging viewer experience. InEvent stands out in terms of support - offers comprehensive training and 24/7 live chat for further assistance.

Integration with apps like Salesforce can be less straightforward, and requires collaboration with the InEvent team to resolve. Pricing tends to be on the higher side, which may warrant consideration as an investment.

**What do you like best about InEvent?**

I'm a virtual show builder. Inevent offers the broadest range of out-of-the-box options and integrations. Period. It is also my go-to platform if you do multiple shows per year. Although integrating your preferred CRM or marketing software isn't always critical, Inevent offers HUGE value without having to dive into custom API issues and budget spend.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

If Inevent could offer more attractive pricing on smaller events, it would undoubtedly increase their preferred customer base because more people could experience the software's benefits.

**What problems is InEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InEvent is designed to work for every sized show. I can confidently present them to each client when doing pre-sales calls.  Their personal, email, and online Help is best in business. This saves me time when building the event.

I guess it's one of th emost complete software to manage events, no matter if this is an in-person, virtual or hybrid event: you can manage them all.
Another important point is the easy interface and the possibility to customize the platfor to fit branding and needs of your company and event. Support from InEvent is unbelievable: kb, emails, calls and chat

In few cases, when you need to create particular customizations, you need to reach out the tech support. Not a big deal as InEvent team is always helping in the best way possible

From the backend you are able to manage in-person, hybrid and virtual events in a simple and complete way - everything integrated with you CRM

Some things can be a little bit tricky to work with. Very very very detailed and need a lot of testing and guidance. Some things aren't as obvious as I think they should be.

Start wayyyy ahead of your event and take advantage of their support team.

Inevent has all the right features a webcasting or conferencing platform should have! The use case for most of our webinars/virtual events is very very high. We are going to continue working and using this as we see fit into our service model.

Not much to dislike about this platform. The features are great, support model is stable and non-reactive (proactive). You really feel the partnership. I guess for any platform, MORE INTEGRATIONS! Keep continuously improving this !

ADA compliance in North America, engagement for users who are remote, more features that our end user groups are requesting daily. SSO integration is key for our IT Security protocols.

So we've been using InEvent for about a year now and have a pretty good feel for what it can do. Executive summary: it can do just about anything you need to as it relates to planning and executing an online or hybrid event. Just about every feature/capability you can want is here. Customer service is very responsive.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

In some regards there are TOO MANY features that then become interconnected and make the setup process more complicated than it should be. The ability to customize templates is limited, as with most solutions in this space. Seems like any time you want to add a feature or something like an integration you get an upcharge. Email marketing capabilities could be better.

**Recommendations to others considering InEvent:**

Give the platform a full run-through before committing to it so you know what you're getting for the edition you're signing up for, and not.

**What problems is InEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest need was to be able to conduct concurrent webinar sessions for our conference ... and make it easy for attendees to jump between them. This is certainly the case with InEvent. We also use the platform to allow people to register for the event after its live date and watch a replay. This functionality could be a bit more streamlined than it currently is.

**What do you like best about InEvent?**

After a disappointing, hugely frustrating experience with another events platform that robbed me of my time, money and will to live, I found InEvent. I signed on after three intensive demonstrations that vetted all the functionalities I needed for our virtual symposium. I built an entire event in just two days, following the exceedingly helpful documentation which laid out processes in very clear language step by step, and the screenshots were terrific. But the most wonderful part of the experience so far has been the 24/7 online chat, built right into the platform interface. I used it throughout my event-building process, and it was marvelous to have knowledgeable, friendly, efficient representatives provide satisfying solutions at all hours of the day and night, without waiting and hoping for a response like the other guys. It has been a world-class customer experience, by far eclipsing the five previous platforms I'd trialed, purchased, and struggled with due to a clunky interface, poorly written and vague documentation, and zero assistance from tech support when it was needed most.  The InEvent platform process has made me want to weep with joy and relief, it was such an easy, enjoyable experience. It was an unexpected thrill to accomplish so much in such a short amount of time, thanks to the excellent tools and guidance that InEvent provides.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

Not much to complain about at all. The platform becomes highly intuitive and easy once you get your bearings, but that took a bit of navigating through the documentation. It is well worth the time and effort to review the entire FAQs, as it is the best roadmap to success I've seen in a long time. The few times I hit some snags, the online chat function provided me with the immediate solutions I needed, zero waiting.  We will be launching our event shortly, and if the roll-out goes as smoothly as the construction process did, I have no reasons to be disgruntled at all.

I needed a one-stop shop to build virtual symposia through which I offer continuing education to the medical profession. I also needed a professional-looking interface that is straightforward and relatively simple for my attendees -- busy nurses and physicians, among other healthcare stakeholders -- to use, as well as a platform that would showcase and meet the objectives of my education partners.

I like the availability of the support staff and the thoroughness of the FAQs.

It is very click-heavy, very manual. Some of the features for returning users are limited. For example, copying/duplicating one year's event to use as the template for this/next year's event only converts the session headings, not the days/times, Q&As, or gamificiation set up.

**What problems is InEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are updating their connections between streaming and production platforms -- love the newest feature: Live Studio, and plan to use it for this year's event. In general, they are helping us invite a wider audience than what was possible when conferencing in-person.

InEvent's customer service is unreal! Day or night, there was always someone online to help me troubleshoot. They were patient, knowledgeable and funny! Definitely helpful when you don't have a huge team working on a project. I felt so supported. The platform itself is very easy to use. Most of my questions were where to find things or help troubleshoot minor issues.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

I would like to see more template options for the basic package. There were things I liked about neo and things I like about classic and wished I could modify it somewhat, like maybe mix and match homepage and session page features. All and all great platform and very flexible and turn-key.

We planned an open house with over 60 sessions. Was able to do a mix of live and pre-recorded sessions.

It might look like the tool to solve all your problems, but you should not forget to be accompanied by experts on both the platform and content. (This is generally true about any event platforms)

Greta tool, do not dismiss the need for onboarding an expert partner (agency/consultant) to get you up-to-speed and avoid common pitfall when managing a digital event platform.

**What do you like best about InEvent?**

The lobby page was clear and clean and made it easy to include our branding. I liked their communications manager through InEvent, it made writing emails to all (or a select number) of attendees really easy. It was user-friendly and allowed for multiple test emails. It also tracked down how many people opened or clicked on the email. Another positive of InEvent is their support/program team who was incredibly responsive and placed several tickets for us to the development team. They always answered emails quickly and with as much information as they had available. Unfortunately, the development team wasn't able to deliver.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

We feel like we were promised a flexible program and staff that would help us build a platform that worked for us but unfortunately the developers were never able to fulfill our requests. Our event had 385 people registered over a 4-month virtual summit on InEvent. Below are a couple of my complaints: 

For registration, we were using the waitlist to approve or decline attendees. Once approved they would get a link to the platform to purchase their ticket. However, when it was getting closer to the launch there were people who still hadn't purchased their ticket. If we made our platform live then even ticketless people (accepted from the waitlist) would have access to our programming. If we removed the waitlist process then we had no way to keep our platform secure. It made it so that people without tickets could still join our sessions. We had lots of back and forth and the solution from the developers was to make a fake page to track waitlist registration then manually import them once approved to an invite list on the real page. The "solution" wasted so much time and labor from our team. 

On the agenda page you couldn't see an overall picture of the agenda. The agenda is only divided by days which was time-consuming for attendees to navigate. Attendees had to click through each individual day in four months to fall into the session they were looking for. You also could not filter the agenda by tags so it is unclear why they even have tag options. I understand that they usually don't have four-month meetings but when we requested a list of all our sessions with tags they couldn't even pull that data. We had to import our information on their platform then keep copies for us because they couldn't quickly download the agenda with tags. They were finally able to do it three months into our summit however even though we requested it they never let us know it was fixed so it wasn't until we randomly stumbled upon it that we saw they had fixed our request. 

Similarly, the networking page had the list of our attendees but the menu to move from one page to the next (as we had close to 400 attendees) was all the way at the bottom and hard to find. The networking page with the contacts of all the attendees was not user-friendly.  Again, similar to the agenda we could not download a list of our attendees based on tags. Our participants chose their tags at registration but we had to manually look through each attendee to find their interests. They had all the tag data in their system but never figured out how to download it for us. 

Finally, the video platform for the meetings is incredibly choppy. Their solution was to use a different feature to improve the quality but that doesn't work for people from different continents. Our participants were coming from Asia, Africa, Latin America, not just the Global North. We ended up having to use Zoom and connect it to InEvent's platform risking the security of our meeting. 

Nothing we were promised worked, we had to do workarounds on everything sacrificing comfort, security, and our time. We made these requests when we were considering purchasing this platform and they promised solutions they were never able to deliver.

We purchased InEvent to have a global summit that we weren't able to host in person because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We wanted a collaborative space where people across the world could meet and learn.

The virtual lobby's good and modern look; numerous themes; a very reactive and helpful customer service team; and comprehensive customisation options.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

Some basic search/filtering/displaying features are lacking for sessions and individuals. The agenda display is very rigid, and wasn't intuitive for our users. It hasn't been possible to let our 380+ participants upload a profile picture or social links (e.g. LinkedIn/Twitter) at registration, or even after registration for social links. Microsite display options were limited. And a complex workaround was required to hide virtual session links from participants who hadn't registered for specific, capped sessions.

When we needed something displayed differently, they said it had to be done by us via CSS; but in effect, altering the CSS rarely worked.

Save for one exception, the development team never acceded to our requests (e.g. letting people add their socials on the website, or displaying their bio in the networking area). (The exception was when we asked for tags to be included in a list export.)

I was convinced to go with InEvent for our client thanks to good reviews here; but I since found out that InEvent offers 50 participant licences (normally paid) to clients who leaves a 5-star review.

We hosted a 4-month, 76-session online summit for 380+ participants. We sold $87k+ in tickets and $30k+ in sponsorships, and the platform was well used and attended.

The support they give before your event, understanding, and taking advantage of each of its features is so easy thanks to all the help provided by calls, chat, and its help docs.

Also I like that the connection between the platform and the participants is guaranteed in every step, they made the platform really interactive, so you can see the huge difference between just giving a talk in other  place or talking here and playing with every feature tu assure the engagement.

The only thing I would say is about scheduling the meetings for follow-up in advance 3 or 4 days before, because there are times that they are required from one day to the next and it is complicated, and the making of the landing page of the event, you can only use the templates but they cant be edited, you cant cutomize them.

We searched a lot for a platform that would cover all of our needs, and InEvent was the best option; their support is remarkable, as well as the features the platform has, to delight the administrators as well as the participants.

**What do you like best about InEvent?**

The back end of the build was easy enough, and we like the end-users view as well. It had all the features we were after regarding analytics, clean look, communication pieces, and engagement from the end-users. We also like that we can copy events, so the build-out is easier on our end, and we also enjoy the chat feature within the platform to chat with their team and get a quick answer/help with the build process.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

While not a downside for us, but it is all self-build. Which again, was not a problem for us as we were able to customize to our liking - but to learn the system for a short stand-alone event might not be worth it for some. That being said, it is easy to use the back-end systems once you get the hang of it!

**What problems is InEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solved being able to produce one-day stand-alone events to replace our (pre-COVID) well-attended multi-day events and make up the revenue  that would have otherwise been lost and our stakeholders going elsewhere for content. We also were able to keep our sponsors happy as well and get them additional exposure. 

Benefits = great analytics on users so we can build better events moving forward. Also being able to copy events over and over makes the time spent build less and less!

We needed a solution that could take us into the future.  We plan on having events that are hybrid--both face-to-face and virtual simultaneously.  InEvent provides the answer.  InEvent offers easy methods to extract data for use in our backend systems, integrate online payments, and create an event web site.  We extremely satisfied with the attendee experience.  One of the best aspects of InEvent is their exceptional support!

When using the interface for speaker session assignments, we found it to be a little tricky.  It is not horrible but could use a little work.

We looked at numerous tools for our event.  By far, InEvent was the best.  Take the time to have a conversation with them.  They are one of few solutions we spoke with that provided such personal attention.

While they are always adding new features, I would be nice to have the gamification features, like missions and leader boards,  available on the desktop version as well.  I'm sure its coming.  For now we can integrate 3rd gamification addon's through custom tabs.

I really like the options for playing content inside the activity rooms. It works for several event formats, either using a platform and the internal software or bringing an outside streaming provider, through the RTMP configuration.

It would be nice if a platform provided a person to follow the events and give support in person or remotely. Without us having to hire someone from outside indicated by them. During events, it is necessary to have this support for problems provided that need to be solved in seconds.

Make the most of the platform and schedule various training sessions. Some things are worth training with the team via call.

One of the few problems I had was related to inserting an image in an activity, which precedes the entry of streaming. We did not have an option that would be useful for my event and I believe that for many others and in a short time the product team brought a solution, it still does not meet my need but it is getting close. The staff is attentive and willing to solve problems without much bureaucracy.

We liked the ease of use for our attendees. The platform was intuitive and most of our attendees logged and accessed all events without any technical difficulties. The virtual lobby was also very customizable with many options to make your event unique. The networking features were also very easy to use and great to help with engagement at the event. 
We also liked the ability to schedule calls with the InEvent staff to get help with set up and questions answered.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

Setting up the event on the back end of the platform was a little tricky for people with limited technical background. It was much more work than we actually anticipated. We also had some technical difficulties with streaming the day of the event that were attributed to Google. Since our event was also many people from many organizations, we also had some issues with VPN's and people being able to log in through their employers server. This was a little tricky to work around.

InEvent helped us hold a 2 day virtual conference originally scheduled to be in person. We had keynote sessions and breakout sessions. We were able to offer the event to our group as well as others across the country.

This platform was supposed to be the live stream solution for one of my clients. I've attended zoom calls, training, and everything with the supposed operations team. They have failed us and have just given workarounds and time-wasting techniques to the problems. One of the managers on the zoom even said one solution was from the CTO, and the solution didn't work one bit, which shows the incompetency of this company. This is not only time-wasting but also emotionally draining. 

It was one whole month of wasting time with this company trying to make it work, and we ended up firing them and going with a different, reliable solution. I'd say for folks looking into InEvent to steer clear because they sell you one thing and provide another, leaving you left holding the bag. I don't want to hold a bag. When working with vendors, they are supposed to make your life easier by way of solutions, and this is not my experience with these people. For real, walk away from this company; it's terrible.

The endless amout of functionalities that are currently available via the platform and also the openness of the InEvent support team to listen to our feedback in order to continously improve the platform experience/enhancements for both an Admin + end user.

The non-visibilitiy in terms of timelines of items that are currently on InEvent's road map. Unfortunatly at times, it is not possible for InEvent to be able to give a guestimate as to when certain enhancements/features will become available. As we have dates already in the calendars for upcoming events, we do not know if certain enhancements/fix will be available for this event.

Due to Covid-19, we now have the abilitiy to run our events both internally & externally via the InEvent platform which is a great "one stop shop" to showcase everything we would have watned to in a F2F environment.

This was honestly one of the most painful experiences I've ever had dealing with Customer Service. If I HAD to pick one thing, I would say it's the low price. However, I learned that you get what you pay for.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

This was the worst experience and platform ever! 
1. Bait & Switch tactic - we had multiple demos with their Sales team where we asked very specific questions around the technology capabilities and our goals for the event. We were promised that by purchasing a particular tier that we would have our needs met. This takes me to #2.
2. They will force you to pay for a higher tier after you've already signed with them, just so that they can make more money. They told us that they would find a way to get us what we needed on our tier after we communicated our story. Instead, they just passed us from customer service rep to customer service rep, where they continued to avoid our problems and try to find workarounds. Taking me to #3:
3. Workarounds that do NOT work. Rather than giving us what we needed, they kept trying to give us workarounds that NEVER WORKED. 
4. LOW-QUALITY VIDEO with blurry screens and voice/video that did not align. The workarounds always produced a low-quality video, yet still, they refused to support us as they had promised. After at least 10 different attempts at trying things their way, we became extremely fed up and upset, so we asked to submit a formal complaint. 
5. No formal complaints are allowed. When we told the MULTIPLE customer service members that we were lied to by their sales team, they supposedly launch an internal investigation where it was found that we were wrong and their sales team had not lied. Essentially, they determined that their Sales team had not lied without anyone ever reaching out to my team for our story. They somehow just concluded that we must have been "confused and that there was probably a miscommunication."  

In the end, they refused to provide us with what their sales team had promised. They did not allow us to escalate our complaints to a manager. They had very little respect for our team. I have never experienced such horrid behavior, and I would NOT recommend this program to anyone. My advice, don't just walk away from this program, RUN!

**What problems is InEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unfortunately, with InEvent there were only problems and 0 solutions. I ended up paying thousands of dollars for a program I could not use because their team was unwilling to help us out in any way. Extremely disappoointing.

**What do you like best about InEvent?**

The InEvent platform UI is among the best I've seen.  It's intuitive, allowing attendees to move between sessions and various areas with ease, always keeping the main activities & sponsors/exhibitors within reach, and allowing natural networking and conversation to take place with the least navigation.  They are also very receptive to requests for new functionality, which reflects their willingness to look at their product from multiple perspectives to maximize functionality.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

Not much!  But if I had to choose something, like any changing & constantly improving platform/software, there are a few bugs.  However, the InEvent team is extremely responsive in addressing them - making the customer feel heard and respected, with a quick turnaround time.

**What problems is InEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With InEvent, we are able to offer an easy-to-use solution to replace multiple in-person conferences a year, providing a space for people to learn and connect.

**What do you like best about InEvent?**

It is quite easy to learn how to use all the features. Instruction page is quite nice and you can always ask for help. There is 2 min. response time which is great. People from Inevent are always available for a chat about whatever it is you need. Very nice experience so far.  Our expectations were quite hight, but InEvent works as intended. We have augmented InEvent experience with our virtual production and were able to stream and play videos from our virtual studio to enhance the experience. There is a great flexibility to this solution. Some features are missing, but the team is working on adding new features and communicates them clearly.

**What do you dislike about InEvent?**

There could be more  options how to design your platform, more customization.

**What problems is InEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Once you have your account and all your preferences set, you can do as many events as you need with ease.

InEvent is robust enough to allow me to do the creative activations that my clients and their event sponsors expect, but also very user-friendly and intuitive.

Some of the event registration and ticketing functions are not as flexible as I would like them to be,

**What problems is InEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InEvent allows me to offer an interactive virtual event option to our clients, many of whom were initially not keen on hosting a virtual event. All of the analytics have become critical, as the clients and the event sponsors now have concrete metrics to review in the post-event evaluations.
