Kalin, the success manager that helped us in our shaky start in Evalato really helped us not only navigate the system but also customize our program in Evalato. We appreciate the virtual meetings that allowed us to freely ask our questions and even get visual demonstration of Evalato's feature. We also highly appreciate Evalato's consideration of our status as an NGO during the purchasing of the license. While it is a bit overwhelming to learn at first, the question mark cues at some features in Evalato that shows a short explanation of what it does has been really helpful. **What do you dislike about Evalato?** Dislike is too strong but Evalato does not have an option to break a form into different pages. This means that if the application form is long, the user will have to grapple with scrolling all the way down the page to answer all the questions or link/upload all the required documentation - just like our case with the upcoming architecture price we are trying to put up. This is a little overwhelming from the user's perspective. It would great if there is that option. While Evalato operates with tiered pricing models and we eventually got a discount, I would still say that Evalato is quite pricey for small NGOs or scientific/research groups. **What problems is Evalato solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are still in the beginning phases of the WoodPoP Dara Award, but after testing this for almost 2 weeks, I will say that it will make the submission and application processes, the quality control process of the submissions, and most importantly, the judging and eventual hall of fame creation of our award easier for us. ### 5. We have a team of two admins and 8 review committee member. Many other software companies transition gave very rudimentary demonstrations and little follow up. Our account manager for Evalato was so helpful and willing to answer any questions that we had before we committed for the 2023 cycle. Once we had a good understanding of the platform our process of our grant distribution program was revolutionized. Many products provide large and robust products that are expensive and for a small scare organization that prioritizes providing our funding to userbase this platform provided the support we need in conjunction with the autonomy of we desired, all remaining cost effective. For any US based organizations or companies on the fence, Evalato is a very strong platform and company that my organization will continue to remain in relationship with. **What do you dislike about Evalato?** Our organization has very little feedback to provide the platform. One feature we’ve been seeking is the ability to view uploaded documentation in the platform, but our account manager has been beyond communicative in addressing and documenting the concern. He’s provided many options and recommendations on how to accommodate this limitation which does its to the customer service of the company. **What problems is Evalato solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our organization was using in our original process over 6 different tools in our grant management process and since using Evalato has reduced down to one tool and save over 3000 estimated man hours or data processing, storage, and management that previously existed. Building multiple rounds and stages is a simple setup. The ability to set up automated emails is very useful for reminders. **What do you dislike about Evalato?** A few minor missing features. For example, no way to import judges. Instead, each judge has to be set up manually, which can be time-consuming and no way for a judge to reset their own password, they have to contact the organiser. The layout of Evaltao is great but could do with a bit of a refresh to make it a bit more modern and interactive, especially when creating submission forms. The analytics/reporting feature is also very basic and could do with a more in-depth way of analysing nominations. Currently, all users can access everything on the platform. It would be useful if you could set permissions.
