What I value most about Evalato is how it brings every part of the awards process into one organised, intuitive platform. It removes the manual work that once slowed us down, gives applicants and judges a smooth experience, and provides real-time insight into how each programme is performing. The only drawback is that the level of flexibility and customisation can feel limited at times, especially when we want to tailor parts of the experience more closely to our brand or specific programme needs. Evalato's support team is amazing - they are very responsive. Kalin, the success manager that helped us in our shaky start in Evalato really helped us not only navigate the system but also customize our program in Evalato. We appreciate the virtual meetings that allowed us to freely ask our questions and even get visual demonstration of Evalato's feature. We also highly appreciate Evalato's consideration of our status as an NGO during the purchasing of the license. While it is a bit overwhelming to learn at first, the question mark cues at some features in Evalato that shows a short explanation of what it does has been really helpful. Dislike is too strong but Evalato does not have an option to break a form into different pages. This means that if the application form is long, the user will have to grapple with scrolling all the way down the page to answer all the questions or link/upload all the required documentation - just like our case with the upcoming architecture price we are trying to put up. This is a little overwhelming from the user's perspective. It would great if there is that option. While Evalato operates with tiered pricing models and we eventually got a discount, I would still say that Evalato is quite pricey for small NGOs or scientific/research groups. We have been using the platform for our annual national D&I project competition. It works very well, handled around 300 projects with many categories, types of jurors and so on. We had a project with quite many different, atypical components. We found solutions to every particular element of the project. The team is super responsive, and if you don't find in the vast documentation available the answer, then you definitely get fast, super fast help from Evalato team. A limitation is that when you have multiple groups of judges, you can’t assign them directly to specific projects. Instead, you have to create separate categories for each group, which makes the process more time-consuming and less intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overall, I've found Evalato to be a strong solution. The dashboard and setup is very intuitive and allows for efficient implementation. Evalato as a whole streamlines processes for judging and entry form setup. An excellent user experience all around. Evalato is pretty straight forward to use, it has a very simple and user friendly interface to use internally. and also externally for any judges. We've been using it since 2021, and it get's better every year, with very useful features being added. Everything you think you need for an awards platform, Evalato has it...and more!
