This enhances visibility of sites we working on, the real time information makes soling issues on site far quicker than we were through phone calls, e-mails etc. We find the templates very easy to make, issue and use meaning implementation has been made very simple. Photo's and tagging has helped give contract managers an instant overview of what work has been completed on each day and an ability to see issues and correct before they become snagging issues. **What do you dislike about Dashpivot?** Nothing so far looking forward to seeing how they develop the software over the next 12 months. **What problems is Dashpivot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Most of our construction sites are not local therefore there was a disconnect between site based staff and office based project engineers and contract managers. With Dashpivot we have gained a real time over view of what is happening on site and an ability to log and record more information without burdening the site supervisors with more admin. ### 6. Being able to see weather or not a purchase order or permit has been signed off and knowing who you need to contact to get it approved to keep the work going onsite. We take a lot of photos for record keeping, for reporting, for QA, etc. The guys can place all of their photos on Dashpivot, from where I can download or export them. This is very handy for weekly reports or checking a detail of something you did in the past. If you have a rough idea of when a photo was done, you can filter the photos by date. This is very handy to filter through a lot of photos. Similarly, you can filter by user. If you know who the engineer is in the area, you can filter through his/her individual photos narrowing it down even more. You can create custom templates which are really handy. You can create a new template in a very short time, customized to your exact needs. This is probably a feature we don't use enough, but has the potential to be a very powerful tool if you are willing to invest 5 to 10 minutes. One of the templates we use most frequently is the "Daily diary". This is a very simple and effective way of documenting your works. A great mobile app, with a lot of features found on the desktop version. Can tag your photos and then later search by your tags. Can create different "areas". Upload photos per area of works. **What do you dislike about Dashpivot?** I don't have any dislikes in the app. It does exactly what I expect from it. I do wish my project would rely more on it, as it's a great way of centralizing a lot of documents. **Recommendations to others considering Dashpivot:** Definitely worth it. Great support from the developers as well, with constant improvements. Our projects have benefited greatly from our use of Dashpivot and this is leading to fewer and fewer defects on handover. ### 9. I’m prompted to write comments about the photos I upload. I never have an issue using the app for the same things I can use on the desktop version. All the features it has are excellent and I’ve found no bugs so far. **What do you dislike about Dashpivot?** It could have more features! I’d love for it to be our main safety app but it just doesn’t have that capability yet. **What problems is Dashpivot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instantaneous access to information from the site team is something I value highly in my fast paced construction role. I can get instant snapshots of what’s happening on site just by having other engineers out there taking relevant photos and sharing with the team. Without Dashpivot I have to call for an update and I’m often too busy and so are they. It’s also great for sharing lessons learnt across large projects and maintaining records with daily site diaries. ### 10. This makes it easy to track back through records and pull out information which can be used to help with commercial, quality & safety issues. Also, the Dashpivot team are always available on live chat and have been very quick to respond to any questions. **What do you dislike about Dashpivot?** Firstly I dislike the fact that I didn't come up with the idea for this product. On a more serious note, I dislike the fact that photos have to be tagged individually. It is pretty time consuming so often gets left out. **Recommendations to others considering Dashpivot:** I think this product brings site diaries etc into the modern construction industry. As it stands it is a very useful tool and the team are constantly making improvements. **What problems is Dashpivot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Site diaries are online for everyone within the team to see. Anyone can jump on and see what work was achieved on a particular day, what resources were used, any potential issues etc. This has been particularly useful when processing subcontractor claims as we have detailed records from 3 users about what has been achieved each day/ ### 15. Templates can be easily created that allow you to collect whatever information you feel is required from site without having to leave the office. This is something that we found difficult previously with many sites around the state - now with Dashpivot it is super easy. **What do you dislike about Dashpivot?** Not being able to upload PDF documents as templates. We have a number of health and safety documents and site plans that do not require a template to be made, however still need to be accessed by our team. **What problems is Dashpivot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Communication between teams, and also managing subcontractors. We have struggled to manage subcontractors in the past specifically when it comes to inductions - Dashpivot allows us to effectively record inductions. ### 17. Filtering by who created the document doesn't really help for this template as I was the one inducting most people on site for the Epping Town Centre project. **What problems is Dashpivot solving and how is that benefiting you?** - Construction site management is much easier when you have a system to follow and that can easily be updated when standards or specification change. ### 18. Got sign off from management with in the first week, by demonstrating how useful the mobile app and was in the field and how much time and money it would save. **What do you dislike about Dashpivot?** Not much to dislike as I have only been using this product for a short time, so far it is ticking all the boxes. **Recommendations to others considering Dashpivot:** The trial period will show enough results to prove your investment is solid. Product is easy enough to prove this within the first week. **What problems is Dashpivot solving and how is that benefiting you?** ITP, Defect Management & Site Diary. Again only being using the product for a short amount of time, however there is so much more improving productivity using this product. With regards to benefits realized it was taking more than an hour to complete a ITP on a building on cable tray installation and cable rough-in installation, it now takes less than 15 minutes plus all the benefits of digital documentation for reporting and analysis. ### 20. Photo sharing/filings and document accessibility are two aspects that have really increased our teams efficiency.
