I like Cloudways for its simple, easy-to-use interface, making server management straightforward. I also appreciate the flexibility of being able to add modules or parts to the server as needed, which is a great feature. I don't like that I can't scale down as easily as I can scale up. Also, while the interface is simple and easy to use, I'm not a fan that I have to pay $100 per month for support when I have problems. It'd be nice to have a one-time fee option instead. There are also some frustrations with limited options available for server-side functionalities, which makes me want more features available. I had some issues initially connecting with GitHub due to an email mismatch, and it wasn't clear to me how to get support since I was a new customer. It was frustrating hitting a wall when trying to verify my account because of the email issue, and there wasn't clear guidance on how to create a support ticket on the platform. The combination of fast servers and excellent support has been fantastic. We moved from GoDaddy to Cloudways and have been much happier with the performance, reliability, and overall experience. I honestly haven’t run into any major drawbacks so far. The experience has been very smooth, especially compared with our previous hosting provider. I’ve been a Cloudways customer for years, but my recent experience with their Autonomous hosting plan has been extremely frustrating. The core issue is billing transparency. They bill partly based on visits, but after months of tickets, they still haven’t provided the underlying data to substantiate the numbers. Support has made it worse: multiple tickets over months slow responses, auto-replies, tickets closing before I can reply, and constant handoffs between teams. And instead of resolving the disputed charges, they’ve suggested moving me off the plan entirely. Hosting performance has been okay, but the combination of opaque, usage-based charges and fragmented support has really eroded my trust. They also have a great WordPress plugin that allows you to migrate your website from any provider to theirs in minutes with just a few simple steps. Should provide custom support based on the requirements. Especially when it comes to woocommerce hosting, sites can vary based on their business needs. So the support team should looking to more metrics to decide which hosting plan will work based on their individual needs. That would help improve hosting selection. Moving my website to Cloudways has made an enormous difference to both its speed and reliability. As a sole trader, I previously felt limited by the performance associated with conventional shared hosting. Cloudways has been very efficient at rendering my AI-based startup, Deltora.help. I like the way how a $14 per month server is exceptionally performing by handing a 400 Megabyte node application so efficiently. Plus, the support staff has been a lot helpful during the struggles with upgrading and downgrading the node version, while the application was still under development.
