  ### 1. Easy Conference Scheduling and Personalized Attendee Agendas

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

I like the ease of creating the conference schedule and the attendee's ability to create their personal schedule in advance of the event. I also appreciate the level of customer service and the price!

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

Unfortunately there is oan option in the "Chat" that allows you to select all of the attendees and send a message. doing so exposes all of the attendees and their contact details. This has forced us to remove the chat feature which is unfortunate.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing the event program, the hotel floorplan and the location of sponsors.

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

Very informative. Helps us to get all the latest updates, so do not have to depend on any emails or to bother anyone for any information. Also important to note, one has to check canapii app regularly, as the updates are done regularly. Very easy to access all the information. I do check it quite frequently. Easy to implement information provided on the app. Integration of every information connected to 1-1 meetings, agenda, every attendee's personal agenda is done up very well.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

Not experienced till now. Customer support, needs to give more importance to this.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Almost everything starting from Regstrtion of events till the completion of events, covering tickets, stay, agenda, special programes, 1-1 meetings, introduction of speakers (helps attende's to select which session to attend) etc....

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

It was so nice to have an application/website where I could find all the information needed for my sorority's national convention weekend of events. There was the calendar/agenda app that came in handy. I also enjoyed the gallery and seeing our attending members submit videos and pictures from the weekend.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

I did not like that it was randomly crashing out on me when I was in the middle of using it. It was also a bit annoying when wanting to upload several pictures and we could only use one caption for all.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was nice to have Canapii be where everything was as a hub. It benefited me when I looking up the agenda for the day and seeing where they would be located as well as the time they'd be happening in.

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

To start, we held an event for only 20 people, which was completely free but allowed us to understand the system and the tool. We were able to easily understand how video calls and the meeting system work. Once the tool showed its qualities, we invested in an event with more attendees. We were lucky that Canapii has people on their team who speak Spanish, so it was a total pleasure to work with Dana to set everything up and ensure everything was correct.

Update May 2025 (now also as "Guest User"): I have also used Canapii in other events, and its UI and simplicity are really helpful, making everybody's event experience much better and more dynamic. The event app is very intuitive, simple, and clean, but full of features. And the network and meetings you can generate are better than any of the other apps that I have used in different events.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

Our event was in Spanish and the translation worked fantastically, but it's complicated to choose the correct time zone since the nomenclature is very European. A recommendation would be for the system to identify which region or country the user is in and thus suggest their time zone language.

Another recommendation would be for Canapii to offer design services since many companies do not have experts to design banners or icons for the sessions.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Canapii at my last event that we held with some colleagues. Unfortunately, not everyone could attend in person, so we had to look for a tool that would allow us to continue the task of bringing all the attendees to our event.

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

I love the multiple ways Canapii lets me communicate with attendees. Be it able to chat directly, set up mandatory sessions, and send instant notifications—super helpful and easy when managing a large group on-site.

The badge printing facility is a game changer for us, and I love that Canapii does it with Sustainability in mind.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

I dislike that the call feature isn’t available on mobile. As a workaround, we sometimes use WhatsApp/Teams instead, which can be a bit less convenient.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canapii solves the problem of managing and engaging with my group by bringing everything into one place.

It’s an end-to-end platform that helps us share content, manage registrations, book flights, manage sponsors, design events, and more based on our needs.

 It makes coordinating and connecting with everyone so much easier and more efficient!

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

First the staff were very resourceful to explain the different features of the App that could be used to suit the needs of the Conference participants. Secondly, Canapii is a very easy App to use, our participants who were not tech savy were still able to use the App without a lot of hustle. The App does not require alot of interner bandwidth, hence our participants that are in low bandwidth areas were still able to use the App comfortably. Lastly, the onsite support that was provided was extremely helpful as most of the participants were installing the App while onsite.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

Canapii has really improved over the years ( this is the second time I have suggested Canapii to the organizations that I have worked for, and it is quite refreshing to see the progress that has been made to fit the changing conference needs) Not a dislike but a suggestion to look into how to improve the display of photos uploaded and a comment section for participants to falg to the admins if a photo goes against the community guidelines.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For the Forum we used canapii as the main communication tool, the Forum programme was uploaded on the platform and the participants were able to curate their own experience on the sessions that they would like to attend, the participants they would like to network with. Interestingly, the ad hoc meetings that the participants scheduled to be able to continue the conversations with the other participants. ( The meeting feature on canapii is very cool for connections to be established beyond the traditional model)

Centralize event attendance and engagement in a easy to use system and visually appealing platform.

It is one more app to add to the phone. Nothing else.

No need for paper since the agenda is online so I love that piece of not wasting paper. We are also a large organization and the event helped with networking and real time announcements.

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

The event platform can do everything you need it to do, and more, one of the standout aspects is their exceptional customer service. The support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. Any questions or issues are quickly resolved, making the entire process stress-free.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

The only issue I encountered was the number of campaign credits available, but again, this was quickly fixed by the Canapii team.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canapii allows for a bespoke email address to be used to send out our invitations and campaigns. In previous software we had an issue where our guests had already unsubscribed from a particular email address relating to that software meaning they were not receiving our emails.

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

I attended a recent tech event that used Canapii for their mobile app. Most events used Cvent or their own custom thing and usually that's a bad experience. Canapii facilitated the best networking experience I have had onsite at an event – their meeting system is best in class and allowed me to book tons of meetings with clients and prospects. The best thing was that people actually responded to my meeting requests, attended the meetings and engaged in the app. The app had built in calendar integration, email invitations and notification reminders. I was pretty engaged with the app through out the event, using it a lot.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

It'd be cool to have an interactive floorplan that linked to my personal agenda, so I could see exactly where my meetings and sessions were when I clicked on the floorplan. Otherwise, I was happy with the experience.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I attend lots of industry events every year, and it becomes annoying to download and navigate different apps that makes finding out simple information about transportation, agenda, who is attending, exhibitors etc. so complex. I liked that with Canapii I could register, see all the logistical infor, and then instantly see the attendee list, book meetings, and add sessions to my calendar. I was able to chat with other attendees before I arrived onsite to plan drinks/coffees too which ultimately made my time at the event more valuable.

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

The app creates a seamless way for attendees to submit their questions in real time, and it’s so simple to moderate and respond. It keeps everything organized, makes sure everyone’s voice is heard, and really enhances audience engagement. In the management console I can see all questions coming through live and choose to edit, hide, delete or ‘push’ to the speakers. The speakers have a live URL that displays the questions I show or hide. Speakers love that they can see who has asked the question (and their company!) and how many likes it has. In my experience it instantly makes for more engaging panel and breakout sessions as the speakers are engaging directly with the audience.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

I found it frustrating that I had to enable MFA to access the management console. However, I know our security team would never let us use a product that didn’t have strong security practices in place, so in reality this has helped us out.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, it was a nightmare to collect questions that had come through for speakers. Using a hand held microphone in the room meant we were unable to track what the audience were interested in (and honestly this felt outdated). Having a different app to manage questions or polling meant engagement was low. Instead, with Canapii, everything is in one place - I feel confident I can track engagement for post event ROI  and that attendees and speakers will have a seamless experience. At global events I can translate questions that are asked in multiple languages back to English, and vice versa in one click.  This is a game changer for our APJ and LATAM events especially. **What do you like best about Canapii?**

Although we love the software, the best thing about Canapii is their incredible customer support team - special shout out to Mirce in particular! Like us, Canapii work globally which means there is always someone on hand to help no matter the time of day. Having them onsite to support us was invaluable. We could completely rely on them as an extension of our team - answering app questions from attendees, managing check-in and badge printing, helping moderate Q&A - nothing was too much! They are also great at giving their recommendations on how we should best use the product - it really feels like you are working with event professionals that 'get it'.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

My biggest bug bear with Canapii was that I couldn't create custom reports of the event analytics. I track and report on the same metrics to stakeholders weekly, and it was frustrating having to manually manipulate the live data each time. However! Canapii have recently launched an update that means I can now save custom reports in the console, so I can access custom data in one click at any time! In typical Canapii style, they have listened to my feedback and improved the product because of it.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canapii supports me in driving innovation within our company. For example, this year I am able to advertise that we are using AI as a big part of our app experience onsite, which is a big focus internally.

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

Having used Canapii across multiple events over the years, I can honestly say it's been crucial in making our events a great success. Its interactivity features can liven up panel sessions (especially by allowing attendees to anonymously ask difficult questions). Personally I've found the app very effective while running my own panel sessions on stage at multiple conferences. Audiences can meaningfully contribute to the discussion on stage by submitting their own questions, and I always appreciate the back-end controls it gives to me and my colleagues -- just in case any submitted questions are inappropriate or irrelevant. I've also used Canapii to host live webinars and found that the app works great for QnA in a virtual setting too. 

It's also been very useful for meeting with clients, attendees and prospects -- setting up meetings is very easy, especially as the app shows you when other attendees are free or not, saving a lot of back-and-forth scheduling time. The support team are responsive and excellent too. The people who run and manage Canapii are seasoned veterans in industry events, and they know how crucial attendee experience is in running successful events that people keep returning to. Ultimately, it's a great solution and I hope to continue using it for years to come.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

No real downsides -- and if you do have issues, the support team is great and responsive, while the leadership team are receptive to feedback and suggestions.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy scheduling at events -- other event apps make it such a hassle to book some time to meet other attendees in-person. It also allows for a much more seamless approach to live panel sessions -- the audience feels safe to ask difficult questions, and our team still has ultimate control over what questions we ask on stage. Panels at our events are genuinely dynamic and authentic thanks to this feature.

I love Canapii’s gamification feature. It’s a fun way to engage attendees while seamlessly tracking participation in the background. A great addition to any event!

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

Because my first language is Spanish, learning all of the features on the console in English takes me a bit longer. However, the front-end translation feature is fantastic—I've received a lot of positive feedback from attendees who use the app in their original language.

Canapii’s gamification feature helps me encourage more participation at events by making activities more engaging. It also gives me valuable insights into what’s working—and what’s not—when it comes to session formats, timings, and overall engagement.

From its humble beginnings a few years ago, Canapii has gone above and beyond to constantly upgrade to meet clients' and users' needs and expectations. The team on the ground is also exemplary as they take the time to listen to delegates' feedback and always present for any troubleshooting.

The only thing I dislike about Canapii is that I wish I could do more events with them! It’s such a great platform and so much more can be expected from them in this near future.

It's a robust, feature rich online conference platform that performs well, has everything needed in one package, and presents a polished and accessible conference to attendees for a price that tends to be on par or lower than competitors. The support staff is very helpful, too, in my experience, esp. Mitzi who was very helpful and even did some things for us to save us time.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

The admin console [backstage area] for setting up the conference can be unintuitive, frustrating, features don't work as expected and controls are not where you expect or are hidden. Setting up an event requires some knowledge about the idiosyncratic functions of the platform and can lead to some stopping points that take up time until answered. The admin area was put together more by developers and can use some very intensive UX help from a UX specialist or user testing people.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was the obvious choice for our small nonprofit to host an impressively professional looking free online conference with attendees from around the world. The pricing for us was attainable and the trade off was that the set up can be time and thought intensive. Canapii is a strong platform that has been improved in the couple of years since we first started using it. It can be a little frustrating but ultimately the things you want it to do are possible typically, but could use some support help to know how to make it happen. It's a feature-rich platform for online conferences that is lower price but less intuitive for admins.

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

The customer support was excellent, and colleagues from Canapii were always helpful and quick to respond. The platform was sleek, simple to use and intuitive. It was also highly flexible and customizable, with a wide range of features available. We were able to finetune our event platform to our specific preferences, and this made it a pleasure to spend time on it every day. Lastly, the Data Analytics tools were highly insightful.

There was only a few minor improvements that we could suggest. This includes changing the layout of the Speaker pages on our Event platform, and allowing for the alphabetization of speakers on the Sponsors pages. Nonetheless, the Canapii team was able to provide good alternatives.

Our organization needed a platform with which to manage registratrations for our event, and provide a one-stop shop for the attendees to access all the information they needed.

- I like the fact you can see the sections in block squares without having to always go on a drop down and click into something, you can just see what the sections are from the offset.
- The colour scheme and design
- It has all your information in one place, from details from hotel to the speakers at the event
- Great customer support with the FAQ's being listed , which are very specific to our event.
- The chat box feature can help with reaching out to people. Which is great for contacting people if you didn't have the best signal. it is also great for networking. 
- I like the logo section where you can click onto the logos to find out more about the vendors.
- Connects well from work email
- Easy to set up the app and I like that can click on a link and have the app so it integrates well across all systems.
- Having a simple app like this means it is easy to  regularly keep checking what you need to do, like your agenda and to check for updates. A good platform to access frequently.

Haven't found any downsides yet. Could be good if the app alerts you when your next meeting is potentially? like a silent notification. However, with work events like this not always needed as meetings/sessions over run.

There is everything you could think of canapii can do, from our perspective we love the automation and ease of uploading sessions, speakers, sponsors, etc which is something a lot of other platforms couldn't cope with as we are a huge corporation with loads of content

The back end 'manage' is very slow and has a few bugs (such as I just cannot click the save button when trying to update sponsors!) as well as its very hard to navigate around and find the areas you need. But the staff is helpful in letting you find it but some sort of guide or simplification would be awesome.

Everything was straightforward to complete as a user. As a front-end user, things just worked, and I did not have to go hunt around too much. The option to have an OTP was great as well.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

I have to go directly to accounts.canapii.com to log out of my account. Not really a huge deal, but for the average user, it may be confusing how to do that. Maybe this is less of a Canapii issue but more on the vendor side, but it would always be good to let users know or suggest to vendors that they will be using Canapii for their event platform so it does not seem like the user got transported off of their website.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a user, I cannot say it necessarily solves any problems for me. Still, I can see how it helps event coordinators and creators easily create a site for others to register and schedule to attend upcoming events.

The product offers a wide range of features ready to use and can be customized depending on the event's needs. I am impressed by the functionalities Canapii has to offer. An entire support team was readily available should I need help setting up my event.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

Setting it up can get confusing, and you would need to refer to their Knowledge base or email their support team. Updated video tutorials in the future would be of great help.

**What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It made the hybrid set-up of my event fast, easy and seamless. It was an all-in-one solution especially dealing with virtual meetings and events. It closed the gap of being physically absent in an event and made me feel that I was still part of an event in an online setting.

**What do you like best about Canapii?**

Recently, I used the Canapii platform for our annual company event, and it went above and beyond my expectations. I appreciate the ease of use that Canapii offers, as it is very user-friendly. The platform provided all the tools for different event types, such as onsite check-in, badge scanning, high-quality streaming and interactive features like surveys, targeted polls, gamification, and more. The mobile app was also convenient, and the customer support team was excellent. Canapii's versatility allowed for customized designs and features tailored to specific attendees.

**What do you dislike about Canapii?**

I had no negative feedback about the platform; I found it amazing and even conveyed my positive feedback to some Canapii staff. All the tools used throughout the event were superb, and the interface overall was fantastic.
