Connecteam and Staffbase would definitely be my two recommendations. Connecteam is fantastic if your workforce is mostly remote, mobile, or deskless; it keeps scheduling, tasks, communication, and training in one easy-to-use app. Staffbase shines if you're looking for a more structured internal communication platform that works well with existing intranet systems and helps drive organizational engagement. I’ve also heard great feedback about Workvivo for building a stronger sense of community with its social media-like feel, so if engagement and culture-building are key goals, it could be a strong third choice.

My current software shortlist is above, but should I also consider free employee communication platforms? https://www.g2.com/categories/employee-communications/free

It would be nice to try out some features before committing to purchasing, but I know they are often limited for free products. Let me know what you think!
