**What do you like best about Chaser?**

Chaser emails look like they’ve been written by a real person. Because of that, our clients don’t ignore them the way they often do with generic invoice reminder emails. Chaser is incredibly effective at reducing debtor days. We’ve been able to bring our debtor days down even as our revenue has grown, and we’ve done it without adding any additional employees to the Accounts team.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

Expensive especially if used for multiple companies. However, it is worth the cost as it means we don't need to expand headcount.

**What problems is Chaser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every business has debtors that need to be constantly chased. This is a never-ending task, and it does have to be done in order to ensure strong cash flows. Chaser allows us to effectively chase our debtors in a polite way without having to dramatically expand the team. We have significantly reduced our debtor days, improved cash flow, and cut costs by implementing Chaser.

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

It acts like mail merge but on steroids. Chaser also provides history of communication to/from customer.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

I think Chaser could use some upgrades around what happens when customers are merged in our accounting software. Right now, Chaser doesn’t have a module with schedules or templates to notify customers that they have outstanding vendor credits that can be applied to their outstanding invoices.

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

Automations and integrations have been impressive. We integrated with our on-premises Sage 200 in just five minutes, making it the easiest integration I have ever experienced. The PDF uploader is a real game changer, as it allows us to easily upload copies of invoices to customers, ensuring they receive a copy with every chase. Usually, you would need a hosted AR system to achieve this. The automations are excellent, highly customizable, and feel very natural.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

Sometimes, customers may be chased if you forget to hold an invoice. It would be helpful to have a historical report feature and the ability to track improvements over time. Grouping customer sites and establishing parent-child relationships would also be beneficial, allowing customers to access multiple sites through a single portal. Additionally, it would be useful if the chasing process notified customers about any unallocated credits.

But, these small niggles to not affect how great the product is.

**What problems is Chaser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't have time to chase every single customer - now chaser does that for us.
The PDF upload & portal means we no longer have to send copy invoices to staff.

I really like the fact that our chaser emails are streamlined into one place and automatically sent out without having to think about them.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

The email reminders could do with only being sent once a day rather than twice as this can be confusing as to which day they are referring to sometimes.

**What problems is Chaser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have seen an improvement in our DSO days as clients are now paying on invoice rather than waiting for statements to be sent out at the end of the month.

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

I use Chaser for automating debt collection by chasing clients and facilitating payments. I love having all communication, audit trails, and notation within one central workflow. It saves me time by solving the issue of manually emailing hundreds of customers weekly for payment reminders, allowing me and my team to focus on more value-added tasks. Chaser enables us to maintain a centrally managed credit control function with email integration, so nothing is missed, rather than managing multiple reports across spreadsheets and accounting systems. The email integration of outbound emails is a standout feature for us, and it was much easier to use compared to the product we used before, Satago. The initial setup was very easy and just took a couple of hours for tweaking.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

We would really appreciate enhanced reporting features. More areas to slice and dice reports to allow bespoke reporting (& customer batch updating). Another being flexibility around payment plans - It would be great to be able to set up plans outside the rigid 1/2/4 week structure. For payment plans, very often we try to front load the plan with 2 payments in 1 month, then the remaining installments monthly. This cannot be done as I can only choose monthly, weekly, or bi-weekly. The only workaround is for me to set a reminder to cancel the plan in 1 month's time and switch the balance from bi-weekly to monthly.

I use Chaser to automate debt collection and payment reminders, which eliminates manual emailing and lets us focus on value-added tasks. It centralizes communication and audit trails, integrates with our emails, and manages credit control so nothing is missed.

Have used other software in the past and Chaser software is ticking all the boxes for my credit control needs, automating where I need it but without losing the personal touch for our customers. The support has been great so far too.

It's a very simple platform that makes it really easy to set up and roll out to your team. The customer support team were also really helpful throughout the entire set up process.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

The only issue I have with Chaser is that, despite everything else linking to your email account, tasks don't. This means that you can't get automated reminders to complete tasks, and if you don't use the platform on a daily basis then you have to remember to manually check it.

It's made our debt management process much easier to manage, and has helped us recoup a lot of unpaid invoices that we had thought would need to be written off.

As a partner in an accounting firm, I’ve found Chaser HQ to be a game-changer both for my own practice and for my clients. It saves us significant time by automating invoice reminders in a professional and friendly way, helps get invoices paid faster, and integrates seamlessly with the accounting systems we use. The insights, such as late payment predictions and payer ratings, give us an edge in managing cash flow proactively. Overall, it’s user-friendly, effective, and has genuinely improved the way we handle collections—I’m very happy with the product.

There is nothing I dislike about chaser.

Chaser has significantly reduced our administrative workload, allowing us to dedicate more attention to customers who are behind on their payments.

Previously, our emails were sent directly from our own mailbox, but now they include 'mail-srv1.com' in the sender information. I feel this change makes our emails appear less authentic, and I believe it has led to a decrease in the number of responses we receive.

We no longer have to spend much time chasing customers who owe us money, as Chaser handles most of the emailing for us. This allows us to focus on other important tasks and better prioritize our workload.

Regarding the email sender address - it sounds like your email integration may have become disconnected. When this happens, emails are sent via Chaser’s mail server rather than directly from your own mailbox. You can easily fix this by reconnecting your email to Chaser following the steps in our help article here: https://help.chaserhq.com/connect-your-email-to-chaser

Once reconnected, your emails will send directly from your own address again, helping them appear fully authentic to your customers.

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

I love that Chaser simplifies chasing overdue invoices by integrating seamlessly with my accounting software, QuickBooks. Its easy setup and automation reduce the time my accounts team spends managing unpaid invoices. The scheduled reminders and the ability to keep notes within the app are extremely useful. Chaser's overall simplicity makes it a worthwhile tool for my business needs.

I experience issues with some of Chaser's email functionalities. Specifically, emails sometimes bounce back due to domain name problems. This issue disrupts the tracking and follow-up process with overdue invoices, which can hinder efficient communication with clients.

We've been using Chaser for a few months now, and it has transformed the way we manage our credit control. The automated reminders are incredibly effective while still feeling personal, and the integration with Xero is seamless.

What really stands out is the time we've saved chasing overdue invoices — and more importantly, the improvement in our cash flow. We've seen a noticeable reduction in debtor days since implementing Chaser.

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

It saves man hours and never forgets to send a chaser.  Customers pay faster.  Chaser is very easy to use.  The customer support is excellent and friendly.  The features on the basic package are fine.  Some features are locked behind more expensive subscriptions,  but not those features aren't essential.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

The price of the standard package is too high for us, but only because we are a small business.

Chaser just works - when we use it, customers pay faster.  If a customer fails to pay, Chaser can pick up and start legal action.

Chaser has significantly improved our accounts receivable process by automating payment reminders while maintaining a personal touch with customers. The integration with our accounting software was seamless, and the customizable templates make follow-ups professional yet friendly. A few years ago, we changed our company structure which meant we needed help chasing outstanding balances. The decision was almost made to employ someone new, until we found chaser. For a small monthly cost (in comparison to employing someone new) we've managed to chase outstanding balances, without the time constraints associated with a full time employee.

The only negative is that its stopped chasing debt and I didn't notice - for whatever reason. I've been keeping an eye of this now though, and managed to sort it all ok since.

Chaser has automate a lot of our debtors recovery process. We use it to not only automate the actual chasing process, but also to quickly send off immediate chasers using their "Chase Now" functionality which saves us a heap of time.

One of the main downsides is that you cannot "Chase Now" using contact groups in Chaser that are set up in Xero and can only chase based on contact name. It would be great if the software could either allow you to chase contact groups, or identify if multiple contacts have the same email address so that you could chase all in one go.

It is automating our receivables process and is saving us time. It is also allowing us to quickly send templates off to clients.

Quick and easy set-up, seamless integration with Xero. Immediately syncs any changes / updates you've made in Xero.

Option to not chase particular companies or invoices. This is helpful when you know something has been paid but hasn't yet shown on Xero.
The support from the Chaser Team is good.

Nothing I disliked but things I think could be added or improved:
We found the Payer Ratings weren't accurate reflections.
Chaser Pay took too long to set-up.
Would love the Credit Check to extend internationally and to have a Credit Agreement function added to the service.
I get a little lost around the interface. There's probably a lot more there to utilise than I'm aware of.

We've been using Chaser for around 2 years now and wow, it's save so much time having to manually write emails and we can pick the phone up straight away. It's really simple to use and contains all the invoices which are overdue/due. You can amend the template to make it have that human feel and less automated which is a huge bonus.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

It doesn't have a feature to include credits which is a shame, as we occasionally get customers advise we're wrong as there's a credit on the account. The emails sometimes don't go out to a issue in the background that we're not aware of. Although these things happen, usually Chaser sort them in a timely manner.

It's save us SO much time and we're able to focus on other tasks that are just as important as our debt chase.

Ease of setup of Chaser with Xero . Much better than using the built in Xero debt chasing system as where a customer has multiple invoices outstanding it will consolidate the chasing onto a single email. We set the system to chase every Tuesday at 11am. Customer support and account management is responsive.

The workflow of the system in relation to in-house telephone chasing does not work for us so we end up using manual work arounds

The automation - enabling schedules and creating templates easily to configure how and when you want to chase clients is a lifesaver. Using Chaser has helped save a lot of time that would have been spent chasing debt manually and has helped us to get paid quicker.

If an invoice is raised and added to our accounting system in between the internal chaselist reminder is sent to us by Chaser and the timing of the chase, these invoices can be included in the chaselist, which is not ideal. I'd like some kind of notifcation system to notify me of this and allow me to pause or stop a chase on these invoices.

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

We've been useing Chaser for almost 3 years in our accountancy firm. Our industry in the UK is known for bad payers and chasing clients for payment used to be a painfully manual process at month end. I use Chaser on a daily basis. 

The customer support is fantastic. It is so refreshing to have the same person consistenty looking after you.

New features get released regularly. If there are small issues or areas that you feel could be improved, simply report them and they get actioned very quickly. They are more than happy to get feedback.

You can segment the client base so that not every client receives the same wording - you can be gentle with some and more aggresive with others.

We are trying out the SMS feature on a sample of clients to see if this is more effective than email.

Set up and integration with Xero is very good and changes come through instantly.

The customer payment portal is worth it on its own. It is such a useful feature and looks professional. It is self service, so clients can download invoices adn generate statements whenever they want, reducing the admin time of us having to send copy invoices. Our payment portal is integrated with Stripe which can also handle direct debits which is very clever.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

It would be good if the product roadmap was made public or to have an ideas page where users could vote for features.

It is a bit pricey, but the time savings pay for themselves. Overages were expensive on our old plan but we have now been moved to a slightly more expensive 'base' plan with no overages which is great.

Not a fault of the product itself, but I think once our clients realise that it is automated emails being sent out, the chasers lose their 'power' and get ignored.

Chaser charges a % on top of the Stripe fees for processing card payments which gets expensive, considering we already pay for the payment portal feature.

Chasing invoices that are due for payment. Reducing admin time. Better customer experience.

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

Chaser has a lot of functionalities such as reporting, sending emails and even collection of money. 
It integrates well with Xero and our mailing system, Google.
They alo offer credit control services as well as a no collection no fee debt collection service which is great.
It is very easy to use and implement to our current requirements.
The Customer Support is also amazing, very quick to respond and easy to talk to.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

Its limited to sending emails from 1 or 2 accounts, and cant be adapted based on the AM who sold the deal.

Currently we are utilising Chaser for Credit Control, sending out automated emails and also utilising their payment portal.

 -  Reminder / chase templates can be easily customised, ensuring a professional and personalised approach to each client's preferences in adopting a tone that's more suited to them.
 - Seamlessly integrates with popular accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks, minimising manual data entry and errors.
  - Provides insights into customer payment behavior, helping our us identify potential late payers and take proactive measures for our clients.
 -  Customer support is great & it is easy to set up / implement

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

-  I had issues with the automated nature of chases which could not be turned off. Especially when bookkeeping hadn't been updated. However, this has now been resolved and you can just chase manually if you wish.
 - I would love to see integration with the likes of NetSuite to be used by larger SMEs.

**What problems is Chaser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We provide back office financial management services, handling chase for multiple clients can be cumbersome within individual Xero & QBO instances. Chaser helps us maintain credit control function in one place and saves us time and resources in chasing notes so any team member can pick up a chase where it was left-ioff. the automated chase is also very helpful where we set and forget and manage the dates the chases happen so we can make sure to update the bookkeeping records fully before the chase.

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

Chaser is a simple, easy to use platform for alot of your Credit Control/Collections requirements. It is easy on the eye with easy navigation but comes with a reactive and helpful support team. The integration with Xero is great and works a good speed and each element of the Credit Control process is considered from email templates, SMS (for individuals) letters, and the option to use their Collections Team which is professional and quick with communication with updated.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

There are many areas of improvement for this system in terms of bolt ons, the internal dialling options, the blockiness of the schedules and the reduction in reporting functionality, however feedback is always welcomed and they continue to development the platform based on the end users wants and needs.

Automation within the credit control process is key, knowing that reminders are going out is essential.

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

You can customise the emails sent out so that you can personalise them to your company. You can use the most appropriate language for your business. You can select the time and frequency of the emails that are sent out to customers.
The setup process is quite easy. We have one member of the team who reviews chaser each week before emails are sent out, checking new customers have gone into the correct schedule.
We use chaser with atleast 3 customers, where we are invoicing weekly. We also use Chaser to send out monthly statements to customers. 
We use Chaser alongside Xero, the integration is great and you can sync everyday and also as and when you want to.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

I would say the software is quite costly. If you have a lot of customers and want frequent emails going out, you are looking at over £100 per month. Which is more than the cost of our main accounting software, which arguably has more funactionality.

**What problems is Chaser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It sends out automated chaser emails to customers, it also collates invoices together, so if a customer has more than one invoice outstanding it will aggregate the values together.
