I like the idea that AvidXchange enters my invoices for me and then I go out and complete them.  Customer Support is very helpful, when you need to them.

that is takes 2 to 3 days for them to enter the invoices

it's not really solving any problem, just that I don't have to handle everything myself. entering invoices, coding, printing, and mailing out checks

Although we do most of the input, we love having the ability to look up electronically each invoice instead of having to go through each file.

**What do you like best about AvidXchange?**

AvidXchange allows invoices to be automatically processed, reducing the manual entry.  I like how we can track history of approvals, and track the time it takes for an invoice to be approved by each user.  Great metrix available.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

There are very frequent glitches, especially after maintenance is done.  At time, users cannot approve invoices, which delays pmt to our suppliers.

AVID helped us to automate invoice processing.

In my honest opinion, the ONLY good thing about using Avid is their community page.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

Avid Xchange charges vendors 5% to use their serivce and one of the customer support reps told our vendor to just charge us the 5% difference. The website is not user friendly. The payments take a long time to reach vendors and here recently our payments are being submitted twice. Vendors are constantly calling us and asking where their payments are.

None. If i am being honest they make things more difficult.

The support system is terrible. There's no way to speak to someone. Everything is done on online and the respond time is very slow and uninformative much of the time.

**What do you like best about AvidXchange?**

I can rarely say this, but there is literally nothing to like about this company. One employee gave us really good service, that's it.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

Avid refused to disclose the payment methods chosen by our vendors, requested when several vendors complained of delayed payments. One vendor disclosed privately they this was the case with multiple payors who used Avid and occurred regardless of chosen payment method, and that their belief (as a vendor) is that Avid purposely delays payments to make money off the float.

Additionally, we asked for a contractually required pricing meeting and our sales team failed to respond for over two months. When they did finally set it up, they came in unprepared, would not offer any proposals, and complained that they felt 'attacked'. Unprofessional conduct all around.

Reporting is atrocious. They have dozens of reports with names so ambiguous, you cannot figure out what report gets you what information. And even then every report requires such specific information as 'filters', you cannot possibly get what you want.

Avid automates AP, and integrates well with our core accoutning system.

There is nothing I like about AVID Xchange

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

Everything.....Lack of Support, lack of complete vendor sync, and the fact that AVID has technical issues at least half of the month (Especially during month-end close) AVID Indexers are not effective. We have to manually touch every invoice because the AVID Indexers miscode nearly every invoice.

They don't solve any problems. They only create more problems.

I love how easy it is to find an invoice and all the history about it when researching. The workflows are great.

Some of the reports could be inproved and also the indexing is not as great as it could be. We find large errors sometimes.

I love that it keeps invoices all in one place. There's no mail to open and sort through and you're able to search for a specific invoice very easily. We also love the adhoc approval function.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

I don't love that AvidCapture doesn't include due dates. I think that would be a great option to add. It's also very tedious to upload properties and units. My biggest complaint with Avid is the service they provide to vendors where they say they can pay them faster. That causes a huge headache and ends up being more trouble in the long run.

AvidXhchange has been super helpful with solving mail volume, streamlining invoices, and simplifying the invoicing process.

**What do you like best about AvidXchange?**

The way we can navigate through Avid easily.  I appreciate that it is user-friendly. One of the best things i like about Avid is when I need to pull invoices for CAM reconciliations and it is easy to just pull all the invoices in a file.  Has saved me so much time and efficient.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

Sometimes it takes long to approve or it freezes so I have to log back in.  Overall I have had a good experience with Avid.  I don't have much downsides to Avid.

The paperless invoicing and ability to track and process payments.  I have saved a lot of time and more efficient and productive.  I believe our business performance has increased and  have eliminated time consuming work.

Nothing - with what I have to do with Avid, I think it is a total waste of very valuable time

As I mentioned, we are doing double the work - EVERYTHING that we put into Avid should 
go over to Entrata exactly the same. The PO numbers do not transfer

I am not Corporate level, just management, so I don't see everything involved.  However, I don't see ANY benefits to Avid, at all

It is easily readable for all of the information on the screen. You can see the header information, the actual billing information and the pricing all in separate windows.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

I believe some form fields need to be filled out prior to others some times when you are trying to code/upload an invoice. If you put in a vendor, before a property for example, sometimes it wont let you add the property because the vendor you have selected is not "linked" (it seems) to the property.

**What problems is AvidXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes keeping track of invoicing much easier and saves us a lot of time with coding and uploading invoices as it does both of those tasks fairly well. The indexing could be a bit better.

I find it most helpful that Avid pre-populates the previous description from the same style invoice. It helps speed up our code and review process when updating a few portions of the description is all that is required.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

I dislike that sometimes avid separates pages of an invoice that were submitted and creates a duplicate. I also dislike that Avid pushes statements to the research queue. If it has all of the info on it such as a vendor and a proeprty name, it should still come to the PM queue for review, instead of getting lost in an abys somewhere.

**What problems is AvidXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduction of paper and mailed invoices to our offices. Having the ability to make it electronic has been most helpful. It also helps with research efforts by allowing the ability to create tailored invoice reports.

The ease of access and their user-friendly services has to be the best part thus far. Customer service is amazing; you never wait longer than 24 hrs for a response.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

Sometimes the cleared check images take a very long time to generate or do not generate at all. I have to constantly connect with customer service to get a copy of the cleared check image for our records.

Saves me the trouble of having to cut as many checks in the office. My time is now free to work on other aspects of my job.

**What do you like best about AvidXchange?**

The site is very easy to maneuver; very user-friendly and aesthetically appealing. Training went very well. As with anything, set up takes time, but the flow of how we set things up helped to understand the operation of AvidXchange which was great. The support staff is knowledgeable and efficient as well. I like that I can approve invoices from anywhere - even when I'm out of the country.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

It would be great if the indexers were a little more thorough and accurate. Our payables dept has to index many items and if this portion of the process worked as intended, we would have increased time savings. This issue has increased our department's workload in some ways. We've taken the time to pre-add account numbers, ship-to addresses etc so that invoices don't end up in exception, but sometimes they still go there regardless. Some months a recurring invoice is indexed and then the next month, it'll go to exception.

**What problems is AvidXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AvidXchange has helped to solve the approval workflow inefficiencies. No more papers wandering around the office to be approved - invoices are scanned so everyone signs digitally. You can easily customize system-generated reminders and escalation days so items aren't sitting around for long periods, waiting to be paid. Additionally, with everything being scanned before the payments are processed, looking up an invoice image is quick, no longer looking to a physical file cabinet. Everything exports nicely into our accounting software system. That interface has been excellent as well. Descriptions and allocations all come over properly via batching exports. We worked alongside our implementation team to get kinks worked out and everything has been working smoothly - sometimes when things are going so right, you forget how wrong they could be going.

**What do you like best about AvidXchange?**

There's a lot of little things that make a big difference. The interface is very intuitive. Having access to the Abid inbox is very helpful when you don't want to wait for the invoice to get processed and you want to handle it yourself. Little things such as if the invoices is coded to a few accounts it will automatically tell you how much is remaining or you can also use percentages.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

I'm not quite sure what's there not to like. It's been a pleasure working on it, you can trace every step the invoice went through. Don't really have any wishes or complaints.

**What problems is AvidXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Percentage option when coding an invoice or the fact that it shows you the amount remaining. Lots of helpful filter options to find an invoice based on criteria.

**What do you like best about AvidXchange?**

One of my favorite features about AVID os how you can track invoices with ease and leave a comment for the correct person to review. I like to be able to reach out to the correct person from the application itself.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

It lags sometimes as well as freezes. Not being able to process your invoices because it gives you a frequent Red error messgase of "oops error"  and then you have to wait to see if it fixes later on in the day.

AVID is allowing invoices to be proccessed by anyone not just accoutantns or AP processors, even people in Maketing can go in and process without diffficulty.

The search option is amazing as i came from a prior company that used systems that didn't interact.  The direct pay option for our vendor is awesome as well.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

Sometime the avid checks take a while to get to our vendors and we've had to void and reissue many time.  Maybe the issue is due to the post office being bad.

**What problems is AvidXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Let's our practice managers code and process their own invoices.  I use to code 40 locations and now i get to do research over coding.

Avid is easy to use! I am responsible for educating new Avid approvers on how to use AvidXchange, and the system is very streamlined, secure, and simple for new users to learn.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

I would like to know where invoices are emailed from, Avid took this information away, and I would love for them to bring this back on the invoice history. Additionally, for administors, we NEED to be able to restart a workflow after a final approval, and before a batch. Finally, it would be nice to be able to void a payment the day a payment is processed, if I am processing payments after 3pm, we should be able to process a void, without a stop payment fee. Thank you!

**What do you like best about AvidXchange?**

While Avid and Nexus are both top accounts payable software, Avid has proven to be a more reliable, efficient and effective accounts payable software. With Nexus we were able to automate some AP processes with workflows, and electronic payments through NexusPayables. But with Avid we have taken our AP automation to the next level. We have been able to implement Avid successfully and make it work for us and our AP needs. Avid indexing means we no longer need to have an AP associate indexing every invoice. And with the invoice exception que in Avid we are able to fine tune our invoices and work with suppliers to make Avid indexing work seamlessly with our AP processes. AvidPay allows us to take the middleman work out of supplier payments and has freed up much needed time to focus on other pressing issues. The AvidXchange Community is a great tool to use when researching issues or getting the latest news and updates. I personally enjoy the 24/7 live chat offered on the community website as I’m able to resolve issues same day, something that was not available through Nexus.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

The implementation was pretty extensive. And the one area that I felt was a bit underdelivered specifically getting AvidSync setup. But if used properly, the time spent during implementation could really set you up for success when going live. I would make sure you have at least 2 months and weekly allotted time to really dive into implementation to ensure your AP automation is set up accurately.

I like that once a bill/invoice is coded, I can easily track payment and timeline without spending hours looking. It's helpful when business picks up and multiple invoices come in.

Sometimes virtual check takes a while to get to the vendor, so I may get a call or to for late or missing payment. This has only happened recently and only once or twice so far.

Takes the worry of keeping on top of vendor invoices out of my hands. I input the info, and AvidXchange tracks everything from start to finish. My performance has increased since I don't have to spend hours doing AP.

**What do you like best about AvidXchange?**

The best part of AvidxChange is that vendors can email in invoices, our team can easily route/reroute invoices, and the history of every invoice paid is there when you need it. I love how easily we can set up proxies when people are suddenly out of the office or can set up their proxy when they have planned time off.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

We've had issues with the indexers. What we would consider obvious clues for where to route invoices, they would say they couldn't figure it out. With support's help, we were able to make some updates and have clarity on their route assumptions. Once we did that, things got a lot better.

**What problems is AvidXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our teams can quickly review and approve invoices by having workflows set up in Avid. The "use previous" function creates efficiencies. The teams can approve more invoices with a better review. Accountants can easily change any information without having to push something back. We can swap an image if need be. I love all the search functions when researching. There are also great reports when you need to gather information.

The feature that I like best is that I don't have to enter much information regarding the invoices. I simply send the invoice and most information gets filled in for me. I code the invoices and the vendors get paid.

Sometimes it takes longer for invoices to get paid out to vendors. Most of the time this is not an issue, but there are instances where vendors are unhappy with the speed of their payments.

Avid has helped us identify when vendors insurance information is outdated and forces the vendors to provide their updates insurances before they are paid for invoices. This protects our company.

Avid is simple in design and fairly user-friendly. It helps us as an organization overall stay organized and efficient while maintaining history to refer back to.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

I have had numerous problems with Avid Indexing issues, but some of them have been resolved over time and through communicating with support. That being said, it's still annoying clearing through a bunch of invoices marked as Ship-To or Supplier Research when they shouldn't be in those queues in the first place. We also have experienced issues w/ Avid going down or being buggy which can be frustrating when we rely on it heavily for the accounts payable process.

**What problems is AvidXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avid helps bridge a gap and gives our property management and accounting teams a common ground. We can collaborate and communicate through Avid's platform and need it to get the job done!

We are currently experiencing a few issues with indexing but we are actively working with Avid to find resolutions to make our processes more seamless.

Avid is allowing all users to monitor the progress of their nvoices.  Our onsite team is able to provide detailed payment/status informaiton to our vendors without having to reach our to the payables department.  This is helping us get infomration to our vendors quickly.

Avid Xchange makes it easy to allocate expenses to different accounting codes and permits us to have a multi-tiered expense approval structure. It tracks time elapsed since the invoice was submitted, which helps us ensure that we are paying our suppliers in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

We have had some difficulties with suppliers submitting amended invoices after we have noticed issues. Sometimes, the supplier will submit the corrected invoice with the same invoice number and Avid will register it as a repeat. filtering it out before my team has the opportunity to see the submission.

**What problems is AvidXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AvidXchange provides a structure through which multiple teams in multiple departments can have independent expense approval structures and ensure that suppliers are paid in a timely manner.

I haven't found anything that I truly disliked yet. As with many other companies, there are improvements that can be made in some areas, however, Avid is awesome at pushing out updates and solutions to user issues.

Online approval by managers saves time.  Also, the AvidPay feature saves time cutting and stuffing envelopes with payments to vendors.

**What do you dislike about AvidXchange?**

AvidXchange indexers put forth little, to no, effort or are unable to discern small discrepancies ("common sense" per se)
If they outright do not index a supplier that has an aka, then they will flag an invoice as "Ship-to" research for the difference of Parke vs. Park. Or, another example of a community Rose Hill C.A. vs Rose Hill.  They will not index because of the "C.A." not being on the invoice.
Concerns, or tickets to Support are not answered, sometimes for days or until you reach out again.  Then it is a stock answer with no real review of your question or the individual circumstances.

**What problems is AvidXchange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest timesaver and improvement for us is the AvidPay feature.  Otherwise, the program is no better, or worse, than other invoice processing platforms.

The ability to know exactly what stage an invoice is at is invaluable.  Knowing what happened to each invoice and when is also a great feature.  The integration with CINC is important to us as well.

At times, it seems that not all bank account information syncs correctly.

It reduces the person-hours needed to process payables.  Gone are the days of an individual spending hours signing hundreds of checks, another individual scanning invoices, and still another individual compiling them and attaching them to a financial report.

Returned/reissued payments are a bit difficult to reconcile.
The new Capture system seems more cumbersome than the old one.
Some vendors dislike or are confused by the payment methods available.

AP record storage-reduced amount of records onsite from 10 boxes per year to 2 of reports and manual checks/bank drafts not entered in Avid.
