The minimum viable product we decided to release is very simple and the application allows us to vary the workflows and configure simply. I love the ability that Archibus has to dynamically connect all of our companies data, having the Space Inventory Module connected to both our assets and hazard abatement makes reporting and data management very easy. Some of my colleagues that do not use Archibus as frequently as me sometimes forget how to use the system to its full capacity. They sometimes need to re-learn how to find the bits of information they are after. While the UI is easy to learn, it sometimes does not have the most intuitive way of displaying information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Depth of Modules is very useful. The ability to cover all aspects of property management in a singles solution has proved useful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI/UX. It appears is primarily designed for property experts rather than general or adhoc users. This makes it problematic for none industry users who are required to think abstractly about about the information they are providing, rather than being able to simply load information.

Additionally, they ability to create adhoc/ondemand reports does not meet the data visualisation standards set by the likes of Power Bi Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Archibus, when you’re using the full licensed platform, is an end-to-end lifecycle management system for all types of assets. Having everything in one place as a single source of truth, you really can’t get better than that.

I also love that it’s fully customisable when needed, although more complex customisation does come at an additional cost.

Our organisation has moved data from a redundant highly customised system to Archibus where complex customisation was involved, our Archibus consultants worked closely with the end user to ensure that work flows were maintained and data was accurate. The end user was very happy with the result, even finding that work flows in a couple of areas had improved. The few hiccups in the first few months were resolved quickly by the consultants and now almost two years post system migration the end user is happily BAU. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far, I haven’t found any downside to using Archibus. From an end-user perspective, our organisational challenge isn’t the system itself; it’s the lack of proactive maintenance to keep the platform on the latest version, which would give us access to the newer, enhanced workspaces. The auto-calculation of space based on CAD drawings is a primary feature. Maintenance workflows also offer a great deal of flexibility. The ability for user configuration of report fields is very useful. Users can customize the columns they display in their individual views of data. This means users can view the data they need instead of having a uniform view for all users, which gives them some control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We sometimes find that we need to customize the functionality of our on-premise installation to have the functionality that we need or for it to match our business processes more tightly. This is a bit of a problem because it means that we can't use the SaaS model and it requires more maintenance that way. If there were more configuration options, it might be helpful in allowing us to use the SaaS model rather than the on-premise model. Also, there is no incorporation of AI into workflow functionality which you would be expecting of modern software. Maybe it is in the roadmap but it is not there currently. We did try using the ennergy module but it was US-centric (we are outside of US) and has no incorporation of the tax codes in our country and so was not usable. The reporting capabilities are atrocious, and so we have to manage all of our reporting using external tools. There is also no useful audit capability to display who changed what and when in the space and asset registers, which is a key feature that is missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
