What I like the best about 7Taps Microlearning is the bite-sized, visual format. It's SO easy to create content that actually sticks. I was able to create an entire 4 lesson course in less than 15 minutes that I know will help my students learn better than hours of lectures. I also appreciate how quickly I can put something together and still make it look polished. I think the best thing that 7Taps is able to help with is offering our exceptionally busy allied healthcare students the opportunity to really learn topics. It's not just about memorization. The short, bite sized lessons offer engagement and students can pay attention and really absorb each lesson as they are short and concise. It’s not about dumping a ton of knowledge anymore. As a writer and content creator on an L&D team, I have to create a lot of content quickly, and my various stakeholders have a wide variety of needs. 7Taps offers lots of options inside the platform, and allows me to upload my own images and material that I've created on other design platforms, so pleasing clients is easy. We are able to quickly build and deploy microlearnings by repurposing existing material into summaries, best practices, or quick job aids; by creating brand new content to support organizational learning objectives; or by using existing source material and generative AI tools to develop reinforcement and sustainment assets, polls, interactive quizzes, or short 'explainer'-style content. As a fully templated tool, there are some design limitations within individual card types that from a purely aesthetic standpoint, it would be nice to be able to have more flexibility around font size, colour, etc. Being able to extract the course content in an editable format, such as PDF would also have great benefits in our review process. Primarily, we use 7Taps for new topic/concept/process introduction, as a pre-learning exercise, or as a post-training event booster. For example, in a blended learning program, we've used 7Taps to introduce a new concept, we'll deliver the main course throughout Q3, and deploy a timed path for post event sustainment of key concepts. Using the Copilot feature is my absolute favorite feature. Having a template that helps me explain exactly what I am looking for ensures that the course that is created hits the nail on the head.
