  ### 1. 4MCAD: Let's draw 2d and 3d easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about 4MCAD?**

As a user in my work for many years of one of the most popular CAD programs on the market at some point I had the need to use other similar but much cheaper and that were compatible, that is where 4MCAD is a good option. It has the same programming architecture as more expensive programs but with surprising similarity in the use of commands and instructions to make orthogonal and three-dimensional drawings

**What do you dislike about 4MCAD?**

One of the aspects that were missing to develop or update in 4MCAD is its interface for navigation or orbit in the three-dimensional environment, it is also limited in the rendering options to generate photorealistic images of 3d models

**Recommendations to others considering 4MCAD:**

The recommendation for those looking to 4MCAD as an option is to first review their drawing needs, the complexity of the project, and the destination of the product. 4MCAD can solve many of these requirements but without major demands. Although it can read, modify, and export the DWG extension files well, it will not necessarily be updated and on par with the leading programs in this market but it is a good option if you only have a limited budget for the purchase of a CAD application that can run on standard hardware.

**What problems is 4MCAD solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the 4MCAD application, medium complexity 2D and 3D drawings can be made very easily. In the 3D area, you can draw primitive solids, elements by revolution, faces, lines, and three-dimensional polylines and the result can be easily exported to interchange format or DXF files to be used in other 3D applications
