What do you like best?

I like that 1ShoppingCart works mostly as an all-in-one type of solution that can manage the shopping cart design and payment processing. Many payment processors often have limited shopping cart offerings and have to be used with a separate shopping cart platform. The order management tools in 1ShoppingCart are very thorough. We can customize lots of different aspects of the shopping and checkout process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Working with the HTML custom features isn't the most user friendly environment, especially for users with little to no coding experience. I would like to see more templates and layout structures that can better fit mobile screens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you plan to add custom headers, I think you should try to create and test designs on your computer before applying them to you actual live web pages. You can use a coding editor to copy and paste the desired headers and footers into a test page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As a complete solution for e-commerce needs, 1ShoppingCart has been fantastic in providing all of our needs and not requiring us to bring in other services. We can manage our shopping cart design, functionality and order in a single platform. We can also add several users to our account to help manage item information and other administrative tasks. What do you like best?

I think that it's simple to build shopping carts right after signing up and using the website for the first time. It's pretty easy to get the cart to work with several different payment processors. Since the design of the default shopping cart in 1ShoppingCart is somewhat neutral, it often works well to use with just about any website design we have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some of the options are not as extensive as we need them to be. There aren't that many programming options to get the product options to appear the way that we want them to. In order to eliminate some of the features that appear in the shopping cart, we sometimes have to use CSS, which takes a little bit more knowledge than many of our users have to execute properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I think that using the one-click cart method can be good for certain items, but if you use the two-step process, then you give the customer the option of adding more items, which could lead to you selling more items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

1ShoppingCart has been a way for us to add items online for people to buy. It's a reliable way for us to provide smooth shopping experiences with few transaction errors and security issues. We have been able to sell more items since we can make them available to be purchased anytime online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

When I first started researching shopping cart solutions several years ago, 1ShoppingCart was a product that I often came across. I like that 1ShoppingCart has been around for many years and is still a stable shopping cart solution used by many reputable companies. Setting up 1ShoppingCart was a mostly smooth process from the point of getting our payment processing account to actually posting items into our shopping cart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I think that the 1ShoppingCart default design is not really the most well-suited design for mobile devices. I believe that 1ShoppingCart could do a better job at allowing for layout options that are more ideal for mobile screens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

1ShoppingCart might not be the most sleekly designed shopping cart solutions available today, but it does work well for processing items and it has lots of options that you can add to make the shopping experience fit specific needs in terms of the types of products you plan to sell. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to implement shopping cart projects and accept payments online easily by using 1ShoppingCart. 1ShoppingCart is very versatile in terms of the types of products we can add. We don't have to just use the shopping cart in our website. We can use them as standalone pages that are linked to from various digital sources. They can also be used for offline media that we link to through custom domain names. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Getting set up with 1ShoppingCart wasn't that complicated for even us basic internet users. All of the product management features were mostly simple to use. There are also advanced design features we can use to make the shopping cart design and functions work more specifically to fit our website. It's nice that we can get email notifications whenever we receive new orders. We can stay in top of orders in an automated way and make sure orders get fulfilled promptly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

We sometimes have mass items to add and would like to get them to import neatly and properly formatted without having to make too many individual configurations. Though we can add multiple items at once, I found it difficult to be able to set up each item exactly the way with want without having to go into each item to make certain settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

1ShoppingCart is a good shopping cart solution for standard online shopping capabilities. I think when you compare 1ShoppingCart to internet commerce plugins that you might add to content management system websites, 1ShoppingCart is more reliable and less likely to have transaction errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

1ShoppingCart has worked like clockwork for us since we've started using it. We never had any missed orders or communications through the platform. We could integrate the 1ShoppingCart pages in a snug way with our website to provide a more streamlined and unified web experience for our website visitors. 1ShoppingCart also has upselling features that let people see products that are related to the items they have added to their shopping cart. What do you like best?

I like the many features that 1ShoppingCart has, which allow users like me to set up their online stores and full checkout experience a certain way. We can't customize every single thing with the standard tools, but there are options to enter HTML and CSS, which is great since we can just copy and paste certain lines of code from our website to help match the look of the header and footer. The checkout process on the purchaser's end is easy for most to use with common steps of entering credit card and address information. The confirmation page is easy to create and can also be customized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There are some cart and product options that are somewhat limited. When trying to add options for packages that include many types of items, it can be a bit cluttered to try and enter the information the way that is standard for product input on 1ShoppingCart. Even when we enter all the information the look of the shopping cart can be a bit awkward and cluttered on the user's side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

1ShoppingCart is a good e-commerce platform that I would recommend to all companies, but especially to those that want a simple service that is easy to setup and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We can process orders online without many issues by using 1ShoppingCart. 1ShoppingCart has given us the ability to just focus on the simpler tasks of adding photos and item descriptions. All of the technical details involved with shopping cart logistics and payment processing are handled through the 1ShoppingCart system. They are flexible with payment options and give us the tools we need to deliver an shopping experience that is usually pleasing to our website visitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I think that the account management features are probably among the most straightforward in 1ShoppingCart. 1ShoppingCart can do everything that most people would expect when they go to a shopping cart. For instance, providing different options for products and having brief and full descriptions for their products or services. We can connect all of the major types of payment processing methods such as credit cards, debit cards and payment platforms such as Authorize.net, Stripe and PayPal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The general design of the default shopping cart is a little bit older looking compared to many of the newer website builders and online store networks I see out there today. To customize the header and footer is somewhat on the complicated side since we have to add code generated from HTML. I don't think many users will immediately understand how to get that done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I think 1ShoppingCart is an older e-commerce platform, so if you want a more up-to-date shopping cart experience for your website visitors, you might want to look at Shopify. 1ShoppingCart can be good choice for basic shopping cart needs or direct linking for one-click type purchases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I didn't really have specific standards for many of the online shopping experiences I developed, so 1ShoppingCart has been a great fit for many simple projects that only needed a simple shopping cart that functioned and processed payments smoothly. We have a decent amount of item customization options and are able to process payments with very few problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I like the balance that 1ShoppingCart has between being a cart that's simple to use and also having many custom options and settings. The options tab has quick ways for us to tailor the look and user experience to our needs. For certain items, we like to have a 1-step checkout to make it easier for the purchaser, and 1ShoppingCart gives us that option along with a 2-step checkout for updating quantities. When I began using 1ShoppingCart, I didn't really have to read through much to know what certain things were for. It's an intuitive system on the whole. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some parts of the set up process were confusing. We had to get a separate payment account with another company that connects with our 1ShoppingCart account. The other company also had their own payment buttons, which we actually used for some products because we could get them to work properly with the 1ShoppingCart cart right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

You can use 1ShoppingCart for products and services you may not even have considered. Instead of doing basic product setups with just the title and description, you should try to set up options specific to the items to gather as many details that as you can in the checkout process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have benefited from the simple and effective cart design and product management tools that are in 1ShoppingCart. We can process payments for just about any product or service that we offer. It's convenient for most people to use since credit and debits cards are accepted. The checkout process is usually painless and doesn't take more than a few clicks to get through. We have also used the featured products tool to show people other products we sell that are related to the one's they added to their cart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The basic tools in 1ShoppingCart are simple enough for an ordinary person with little to no technical skills to use. The control panel is designed in a way that makes it straightforward to use. 1ShoppingCart does provide extensive instructions and other support materials, but the basic controls are mostly self-explanatory. The shopping cart, by default, has most of the features that one would expect to see in shopping carts these days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Signing up with the payment processor and getting everything connected can be confusing. I thought we would just sign up through 1ShoppingCart with our basic contact and banking details and be good to go, but the process was much more extensive than that. We had to get approved for a merchant account and then go through a few confusing steps to make it work with the 1ShoppingCart account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I think that 1ShoppingCart is suitable for companies that want a professional user experience with neat shopping cart designs and decent customization options. You may have to know HTML programming in order to get substantially unique designs through this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to process sales smoothly through 1ShoppingCart. We can use 1ShoppingCart for both physical and digital products. We can also take payments for services. It's a very versatile system that lets us create new products quickly. We sometimes need to be able to take payments within minutes. 1ShoppingCart lets us duplicate items and change a few options so we can make new items available within minutes. What do you like best?

Setting up and managing products with 1ShoppingCart is relatively simple on a basic level. It has the capabilities to allow for custom layouts and product details. When I saw the product page for the first time, I was amazed at how much information we could add. The shopping cart itself allows for code injection that helps to match the look of the cart to the main website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some of the custom options require HTML programming that isn't the most straightforward to execute. Even for advanced web developers, it can be confusing to extract the right code from your website to add to 1ShoppingCart, especially when it comes to dynamic pages such as those from CMS applications like Drupal or Joomla. Also, the default style and functionality of 1ShoppingCart's cart sits on the old-fashioned side of the shopping cart market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you're in the market for an e-commerce solution, I would use 1ShoppingCart if you're not too picky about advanced customization and want a shopping cart that you count on to process transactions smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

When we need to get an online store added to a website, 1ShoppingCart is a dependable solution that we know will process payments reliably and present our visitors with a pleasant shopping experience. 1ShoppingCart's admin tools make it easy for us to add lots of specifications to products and gives us the leverage to import and export data to spreadsheets and then to other software and financial accounts. What do you like best?

Aside from its reliable shopping cart features, 1ShoppingCart has a wide variety of marketing tools that allow us to register customers for things such as newsletters, events and promotions. Signing up and getting started with 1ShoppingCart was relatively easy. We didn't need any advanced programming knowledge to get it embedded in our existing marketing system. Payments are generally handled smoothly without error. 1ShoppingCart has many fields and options for us to customize the functionality of cart the details of the included products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Though the basic setup and functionality is essentially straightforward, some the customization processes are a bit complicated. There are sections that require us to enter code in order to adjust the look of that section. Learning the code and understanding how to apply it to 1ShoppingCart's custom fields properly can take a great deal of time to learn and I feel makes the appearance of the cart more prone to errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

1ShoppingCart may not be the most current online sales and marketing systems, but it is a very user-friendly system that I feel can work reliably with reasonable pricing. I feel that the best shopping carts, sign up forms and newsletters are ones that are simple and straightforward. 1ShoppingCart does a great job of producing digital marketing assets that are easy for people to use, so I think it can be a good value for companies looking for simplicity with high reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

1ShoppingCart has served as a reliable tool that we can use for our company's automated business activities. Though the generally design of the carts and the dashboard are a bit clunky in places, the overall usability is smooth and easy. 1ShoppingCart allows us to execute online sales and marketing processes without the need for us to commit significant time and resources into monitoring and maintaining technical items such as customer databases and payment processing. What do you like best?

The fact they they had unique affiliated links. Make it flexible when giving links to affiliate for specific campaigns. Their phone customer service is actually bad ass but they need it due to the old software again. So many parts are unintuitive so you need a human to walk you through it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The UI is OLD like late 1990's AOL old!

You can tell they barely upkeep the program as a lot of search functions are like an antiquated excel based search.

If you want things in a different currency you need to pay for another account in each currency. Example Australian dollars.

The affiliate links that are generated are also flagged for spam in 3rd party email marketing platforms like Get Response and Get Response 360. So email providers like Yahoo and Gmail flag your emails as spam because of the links.

You get to keep a database of like 1,000 transactions otherwise they begin to charge you to keep it, and it gets expensive quick! So you have to keep downloading the last 1,000 transactions in an excel doc. Making it unrealistic to scale.

It will kill your productivity in the short and long term since the learning curve is a pain and then the program is extremely clunky to create automation/rules.

No real way to look at in-depth metrics in the software. You are better off downloading all the raw data and messing with it in excel for 0.5-1 hr. :/

It has a shopping cart capability in which if users click the "add to cart" buttons it will create a cookie so users can add multiple items

Users cannot create a account profile from you making drip or cart abandonment campaigns extremely difficult. We had to result in using other marketing platforms to fill in the gaps until we switch to a more comprehensive platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would use a comprehensive platform like Shopify they are the leaders in the eCommerce space without having to go fully into Magento.

eCommerce changes really quick and you need to be on your feet.

Otherwise if you are just starting off, go with pay pay buttons/shopping carts. It would be the same thing, its free, and you would be getting payed in a direct eCommerce platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It does the job for affiliate marketing and as a one click purchasing platform (but realistically so does even pay pal) and to click tracking to view close sales from link specific campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

With it's minimum monthly fees it provides fairly good support and features like 24*7 support, few good templates. Also one good thing is it is available on all basic OS. Not to forget it is compatible with many of the plug ins .It is quite easy to use as of it's simplicity for experienced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There is no free support or wider forum that is major drawback. Also they were charging transaction fees earlier not sure about now. And it is not friendly for beginner due to complex design. It is not feasible to implement small scale business where your customers under 100. As we were targeting very specific set of customers it was bit costly for us. Also free template were limited as it is not widely used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

As like any other system it has pros and cons but there are other good opensource platform so would not recommend this one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Not much. They started off being a decent all-in-one solution (back in 2006 - TWELVE YEARS AGO), but haven't kept up with EVERYONE else in their space and their customer service. Now they just suck in almost every aspect relevant to being a shopping cart and CRM Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Most things don't work right. They overbill! They say MONTHLY but bill you every 4 weeks, so we're getting billed THIRTEEN (13) times a year, NOT MONTHLY. Customer service sucks. No one has EVER called me back and I can't remember the last time they upgraded anything to keep up with technology and integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Don't even bother. 1Shoppingcart does NOT seem interested in being here for the long haul - they haven't updated squat in years and don't seem to take any suggestions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Problems: integration, proper functionality, tracking is UNreliable, email delivery continues to go downhill. Benefits: I'm able to export my client lists to move somewhere else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I like that 1ShoppingCart has all the main features we need to sell physical and intangible products online. We can set product details and shopping cart options very precisely. There are several ways to add product choices like colors, sizes and styles. We can use check boxes or radio selections. The checkout process is generally very simple and straightforward for the customer. The payments are usually processed smoothly without any errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The layout and design of 1ShoppingCart is a big rigid and outdated. 1ShoppingCart has not seemed to evolve much over the last few years. Though we can customize certain things with CSS, we can't really change much overall. Unlike some other popular shopping carts out there nowadays, there aren't easy design tools that allow users to change design elements quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

You can need to know some CSS and HTML coding to significantly customize the design of you shopping cart. Even then, you might not even be able to change much compared to other shopping cart software. I think 1ShoppingCart is more about simplicity, so if you need to have great control over the look of you shopping cart, then you might want to consider a different platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

1ShoppingCart fits our particular set of products well. We can add, edit and remove products quickly, which is something we have to do often. The payment processing is generally without problems, which is great so we don't have to spend much time dealing with product order issues. 1ShoppingCart has helped us to monetize user visits to our websites and gives us an effective platform to accept payments for a wide variety of physical and intangible items. What do you like best?

I like the extensive customization options that 1ShoppingCart's provides for the products. We can add check boxes and radio buttons to products so customers can easily select things like styles, event dates or other personal preferences. 1ShoppingCart also gives us the ability to change the design of the header and footer of our shopping carts, so we can better match the design with that of our originating website or landing page. For inventory tracking, 1ShoppingCart lets us add stock quantities to each item, which helps to alert us when inventory gets low and to limit the sale of products that are almost sold out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Though we can change certain designs to the header and footer of the shopping cart, we can't drastically change the overall design of our carts much. Also, the extent of the design changes depends a great deal on the user's knowledge of HTML and CSS code. There are no straightforward drag-and-drop type tools that allow us to design with a visual editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I'd recommend using two-step checkout whenever possible. Though it might seem more streamlined to use one-step checkout, since there are fewer steps to conversion, two-step gives the customer the ability to increase their quantities of a given product and can continue to browse for other products to add to their cart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have been able to use 1ShoppingCart as a reliable shopping cart platform in our websites and landing pages. We can easily link to single product pages from social media and email, which allows less obstacles to conversion. We can create new product listings very easily and don't have to worry about the programming details of the shopping cart and payment processor. 1ShoppingCart has been a great value as an ecommerce tool and has worked smoothly for us thus far. Being able to incorporate a membership or subscription option is a very daunting task without 1shoppingcart. For most, it is, "where do I begin?". Well, start here. You can sell all types of products, digital and physical all alike. With the easy to use website, you will have a ready to go shop up in no time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The price is somewhat high compared to competitors, but I prefer this product due to the ease of use. Comparing this to Wix or AbanteCart, you can see that you may save some money, but the reason why is that you lose quite a few features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Give it a shot. They typically offer free trials which are a plus. You also can't beat the ease of use and the amazing website design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One issue we had in the past was finding a platform which worked seamlessly with all device types and operating systems. This makes 1shoppingcart a one-stop shop. What do you dislike?

I think if they lowered the price to $15 a month it would attract more clients. I previously used GoDaddy for my services and they were a bit cheaper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The best thing about this shopping cart has been the ability to have so many products and modify how they are offered in so many ways. The built-in affiliate program works great so people can easily benefit from joint venturing with my company at a level that suits them. The dashboard allows me to monitor every bit of my ecommerce activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The shipping section has been a challenge over the years. Since we only sell downloadable products from the website now, it has no longer been an issue. The broadcasting functions are less flexible than I like. The commission payment to me for 1shoppingcart affiliates is inconsistent. Not robust enough for membership program offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Start with the professional level to get all the features so you can expand your business and bottom line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Having everything in one place makes monitoring sales and creating good relationships with buyers much easier. New products and services can be launched faster and a wide variety of pricing and promotions. Tracking results is more complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
