I’m researching virtual events software and trying to understand what tools actually help teams host smooth, engaging online experiences. G2 has a few highly rated platforms that I’ve started exploring, and I’d love to hear from anyone who has used them recently or has other recommendations. Here are the top five I’ve come across so far:
Frequently used for large-scale virtual events like job fairs and expos. It includes features like virtual booths, custom branding, and attendee networking.
It is designed for webinars and meetings and features interactive features like polls and chat. It is a good option for teams focused on clean delivery and attendee feedback.
Built on the familiar Zoom platform, this version supports multi-session virtual events with features like lobbies, ticketing, and sponsor integration.
RingCentral Events (formerly Hopin)
It offers tools for live stage presentations, breakout networking, and sponsor areas. It seems to scale well from smaller events to full virtual conferences.
Aimed at both in-person and virtual formats. Includes registration, engagement tools, and analytics for teams managing hybrid or global events.
If you’ve hosted anything on one of these—or switched from one to another—I’d appreciate hearing how it went. Thanks in advance!
