Talent Management Software Discussions
Hi G2 users, I have been looking into the best software for improving employee engagement in the service sector after noticing how different engagement looks for teams that are constantly on the move or working across shifts and locations.
In these environments, it feels less about formal surveys and more about staying connected in real time, sharing updates, and making sure people feel included even when they’re not in the same place.
Some tools that seem relevant for that kind of environment:
- Connecteam – mobile-first app that keeps teams connected across shifts
- Blink – simple frontline communication that’s easy to adopt
- Workvivo – adds a communication and culture layer
- Workhuman Social Recognition – focuses on recognition and appreciation
If you’re in a service-based setup, I’d be interested to hear what actually works in practice. What fits naturally into a busy shift, and what tends to get ignored?
Also, did mobile-first tools make a noticeable difference in engagement for your team?
I’ve been looking into top employee engagement solutions because we’re trying to get a better sense of what actually works when you think about engagement across feedback, recognition, and communication together.
Ideally, we’re looking for something that can:
- Help us understand how employees are feeling over time
- Make recognition more consistent and visible
- Improve communication across teams
- Be something people actually use without being reminded
- Scale as the team grows
A few tools I’ve come across:
- Culture Amp seems really strong on surveys and insights. Curious how teams move from insights to actual changes.
- I’ve seen Lattice come up when engagement is tied closely to performance. Not sure if that makes it more effective in practice.
- Workvivo looks more like a communication and culture platform. Wondering how actively teams engage with it over time.
- Bonusly feels simple and focused on recognition. Does that simplicity help with long-term adoption?
- And Connecteam seems tailored for distributed teams. Curious how it compares to more traditional tools.
If you’ve used any of these:
- Did you rely on one solution or combine multiple tools?
- Which one made the biggest day-to-day difference?
- Anything that worked better than you expected?
I think what seems to make the biggest difference is how well the tool fits into everyday workflows.
Hi G2 community, our team is currently looking into the most recommended software to boost employee engagement in offices. We noticed that most engagement isn’t happening in formal settings. It’s small things like appreciation, quick updates, or just visibility into what other teams are working on. The challenge is that all of this exists, but it’s scattered.
So we started looking at employee engagement tools that might help make those moments more visible.
- Bonusly stood out because of how simple recognition looks. Feels like something people might actually use regularly.
- Workvivo feels more like a central place for updates and culture. I can see how it builds visibility across teams.
- With Lattice, the focus shifts more toward structured feedback and check-ins.
- Leapsome seems to bring everything together, which sounds useful, but I’m curious how teams actually use it day to day.
For those working in-office, what actually helped make engagement more visible across teams, not just within them?
Also, did you find one tool enough, or did you end up using a combination to cover different aspects of engagement?
