We’re researching what is the best onboarding platform for remote employees and we want a tool that solves certain pain points like cross-border compliance, device setup, app access, and making sure a new hire feels connected from day one. I compared features like onboarding communication, forms, workflows, and integrations on G2's [**Onboarding Software category**](https://www.g2.com/categories/onboarding-software) and came up with my final list:

1. [**Deel HR**](https://www.g2.com/products/deel-hr/reviews) — Strong choice when remote hiring spans countries and the onboarding bottleneck is contracts, compliance, approvals, and documents. G2 describes Deel HR as a global HRIS/HCM that runs onboarding and HR processes across countries, so it is especially relevant when “remote” also means “international.” 
2. [**Rippling**](https://www.g2.com/products/rippling/reviews) — Makes more sense when remote onboarding also includes device provisioning, software access, payroll, and approvals. Rippling positions itself as a unified HR, IT, payroll, and spend platform, which is useful when HR and IT want one workflow instead of multiple handoffs. 
3. [**BambooHR**](https://www.g2.com/products/bamboohr/reviews) — Good fit when the goal is a consistent employee journey for distributed managers, with onboarding tied into e-signatures and broader lifecycle workflows. BambooHR’s G2 profile focuses on automating HR work from onboarding to offboarding. 
4. [**HiBob HRIS**](https://www.g2.com/products/hibob-hris/reviews) — Worth a look when the gap is less about paperwork and more about visibility, engagement, and adoption. HiBob emphasizes workflow automation, engagement, and people analytics, which can matter more for remote culture-building. 
5. [**WorkBright**](https://www.g2.com/products/workbright/reviews) — Useful when remote onboarding is mostly about getting I-9s, tax forms, and hiring documents completed correctly without in-person support. G2 describes WorkBright as compliance-first and focused on reducing risk in digital onboarding. 
6. [**Sapling**](https://www.g2.com/products/sapling/reviews) — Better candidate when onboarding needs to flow into broader people ops and learning after the first week rather than end at document completion. Sapling’s G2 page highlights onboarding, offboarding, and people operations inside the larger Kallidus suite.
