Question on: Rippling
How is Rippling innovating in the field of HR and IT management for businesses?
How is Rippling innovating in the field of HR and IT management for businesses?
Rippling is transforming HR and IT management by unifying payroll, benefits, device provisioning, and compliance into a single, automated platform. Its seamless integration of HR and IT functions enables businesses to onboard employees in just 90 seconds, with payroll, benefits, and device setup occurring automatically. Additionally, Rippling leverages AI to provide actionable workforce insights, streamlining administrative tasks and enhancing strategic decision-making.
Rippling innovates in various aspects, in my case, currency transfer is essential in this process. Thus, it innovates significantly by assisting me as a service provider for abroad, performing currency conversion, and already bringing me the amount in the currency I need.
Rippling merges traditionally separate point-Saas softwares into one unified platform for workforces across the globe. Rippling is the only platform that has unified the HRIS and IdP into one. This gives IT and HR teams a single pane of glass and one source of truth—the employee graph—that automatically stays updated in real-time. IT is then able to utilize this native, rich user data to securely manage identity, access, devices, and inventory—all from within Rippling—instead of piecing together separate point solutions that each only solve a piece of the puzzle.
Automation is a key feature of ours, handling routine tasks like updating records, provisioning access, and distributing devices, which frees up HR and IT professionals to focus on other work. That makes things like handling onboarding, transitions, and offboarding very streamlined. For example, when HR offboards someone in Rippling, not only do we handle all the HR steps, but in the same flow, you can also automatically deprovision their app access, transfer Google Drive folders to their manager, and lock, wipe, and retrieve their laptop—all in just a few clicks.
Another strength of Rippling is scalability – we cater to businesses of all sizes, allowing companies to pay for only the features they need. Rippling includes robust analytics that provide valuable insights, helping businesses make data-driven decisions. Security is paramount, with encrypted data and compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA. Employee self-service is also emphasized, empowering staff to manage their own data and access resources through a centralized portal, reducing HR workload. Rippling also integrates easily with 600+ third-party applications, preserving existing workflows while adding advanced features.
In sum, without Rippling, HR and IT are operating from siloed sources of truth—the HRIS and IdP— that easily get out of sync, leading to a lot of manual, duplicative work making updates to user records and security risks arise because things easily slip through the cracks (like an off-boarded employee retaining access). Rippling's unified and scalable platform enhances efficiency, security, and user experience, enabling businesses to operate more seamlessly and focus on core objectives.
Rippling innovates by offering a unified platform that seamlessly integrates HR and IT operations. Its core innovation lies in automating manual processes: when an employee is hired in HR, Rippling can automatically provision their software accounts (like Google Workspace or Slack), set up payroll, and even ship a pre-configured laptop to them—all from a single workflow. This deep connectivity between employee data and IT management eliminates silos, reduces errors, and significantly speeds up onboarding/offboarding. Essentially, it turns disjointed administrative tasks into a coordinated, automated system, providing businesses with real-time visibility and control over both people and technology.

I've tried many apps, but this Pomodoro Timer feels truly intelligent. It adapts to my cognitive load, suggesting longer sessions when I'm in flow. It’s like having a focus coach built into the timer.https://www.deepmato.com/
Rippling offers
Unified HR + IT platform – One system to manage payroll, benefits, devices, app access, identity & access control etc., eliminating a lot of silos.
Automation & workflow triggers – Onboarding, offboarding, device provisioning, benefits enrollments etc. are automated based on employee attributes/events.
Rippling
IT / security features built-in – Identity management (SSO, MFA), device management and security policies (role-based access, conditional access, etc.) integrated.
Performance management integration – Performance reviews, 360° feedback, calibration, linking reviews to compensation/payroll.
GlobeNewswire
Global / compliance support – Global payroll & benefits, compliance with regional labor/tax laws.
Rippling innovates by integrating HR, IT and Finance into a single platform, serving as a single source of truth for all employee information. Whereas, businesses can automate complex processes all in one go with Rippling's integrated tools instead of using individual tools. When a new employee is added, for instance, the system can do all the above at once, including setting up their payroll, signing them up for benefits, calling up their software account and ordering their work laptop. Combined into a single system powered by sophisticated AI, Rippling removes the need to enter information manually, fortifies company security, and simplifies hours of administrative work for businesses.

Need paylocity to work remotely.
Yes! Paylocity is simple and easy to use from anywhere with an internet connection. I was able to run about 5 payrolls from home WITH support from our implementation specialist.

I use Paylocity at home all the time. Because it is a web-based program, there is no need to be connected to a network.
I have processed payroll while away on vacation multiple times using my iPad. I even did it once from a cruise ship when I paid for internet access. Make sure you have signed in on that particular device before. If you haven't then you need to get codes sent to you which might be harder if you're out of cell phone reach.

Question on: Paycom
What was your Paycom implementation timeline and experience like?
We're in the final stages of evaluating HCM platforms and implementation is a big concern for our team. For those who've gone through a Paycom implementation, how long did the process take from contract to first live payroll? Were there any surprises along the way? And if you could go back, what would you do differently to prepare?

For many organizations choosing Paycom, implementation is an opportunity to consolidate data from multiple systems into a single system and to start with a clean foundation. While that can take some effort upfront, it helps ensure accuracy going forward. Because Paycom is built on a single database, our award-winning implementation is more streamlined than solutions that rely on multiple systems. A key difference is the level of support. You’re not left with a checklist to work through on your own, you have a dedicated specialist guiding you through each step and helping train your entire workforce. Some other providers take a more hands-off approach or charge extra for that level of support. Timelines vary, but many clients (including G2 users) often describe the process as structured and well-supported. One tip: come in with clear internal ownership and well-prepared data to keep things moving smoothly.
