I don't know if QuickBooks owns right networks but QuickBooks uses their platform to access QuickBooks in the cloud using RDP.

They are two different companies. Right networks most likely has other companies it works with. Right Networks is basically a cloud based company in partnership with QuickBooks, this allows QuickBooks to put a current Desktop Version online and also stores your data. This gives you the ability to use and get to your QuickBooks online wherever you take your laptop and can connect to the internet.

It is my understanding that Right Networks is athird party service endorsed and/or authorized by Intuit to host QuickBooks. So in a word no they are not a "part" of Intuit/QuickBooks. Which... in MY experience (with Intuit), makes them even better!
