Snagit is pretty intuitive to use. It's great for capturing screenshots quickly and reliably, as well as editing them for use in product documentation. It also has features like Simplify, which lets you replace any text elements in your screenshot with basic shapes, to give the general idea without giving details, and Smart Redact, which can automatically detect sensitive information like email addresses, phone numbers, etc., that you might want blurred out of a screenshot. The pricing is also super reasonable, considering how much use I get out of it. And finally (although I probably should have mentioned this first), installation and getting started were super simple and straightforward.

I use Camtasia for producing training materials using PowerPoint and video, and for voiceovers and translation into foreign languages. I really like the ease of use and the ability to edit video with powerful transitions and the ability to add subtitles. Creating training courses for learning management systems is very helpful, especially with users speaking different languages. The closed caption subtitles that can be toggled on or off are particularly useful. Camtasia was fairly easy to install with no problems.

I like how generally simple Camtasia is to use. It's very simple to use overall. As I recall, it was pretty easy to set it up.
