A Long-Time User's Favorite Tool for Easy Sharing and simple edit tweaks
I love being able to easily grab screen captures and see a history of all the things I've done recently. It's super easy to share things in Slack or via email. The screencast feature, not having to upload to YouTube, also makes sharing videos really easy. I've been a long-time Snagit user and I've always loved it. The initial setup was very easy.

Snagit: Convenient, Reliable, but Needs Export Tweaks
I find Snagit very convenient and easy to use, which is important for me. It's also very reliable and stable in most cases, which makes it valuable for quickly capturing screens with the red button. It helps me keep track of my screen captures and grab text from them, which is something I'm constantly trying to manage. The initial setup was very easy too.
