There's often a significant amount of value that comes from this type of engagement in my experience because once people start to engage and follow your brand, they're unlikely to unfollow or unlike you in the future. I think the photo contest saves lots of time and the scratch off game appeals to a specific audience. It's a great little gamificiation tool.
