
EMWORKS is an electromagnetic simulation platform developed by EMWorks Inc. for the design and analysis of electrical and electromechanical systems. At its core, the platform combines electromagnetic simulation with thermal, structural, and motion analysis, allowing engineers to study how different physical effects interact within a product. This is particularly important in applications where electromagnetic performance is closely tied to temperature rise, mechanical loading, or moving components. The platform includes three main technologies: EMAG for low-to-medium frequency electromagnetic simulation, MOTORS for electric machine design and analysis, RF & MICROWAVE for antenna and microwave engineering. Typical applications range from transformers, inductors, and power electronics operating at switching frequencies to electric motors, generators, antennas, and RF components.
