Got trained in class and used MasterCam at Carnegie Mellon for research projects.

Widely used, several tutorials and well supported. GUI is simplistic.

A Great Tool For CAM

An abundance of bits and tools in its library with a great amount of flexibility for creating new tools, works well for CNC milling and turning, as well as exporting NC code. Easy import from other CAM/CAD programmes. Good for toolpath simulation.
