I bring in rough output and Augment Code cleans it up meaningfully, it doesn't just lint, it actually understands the intent behind the code and refines it accordingly. For a hybrid workflow where you're generating on one tool and perfecting on another, it slots in really well.

not worried about any security implications, easy to use and coach, output tone is not annoying the way claude can be. easy to wire up to github and is good at gathering broader context within our own business

It feels like a practical AI coding assistant rather than just a tool that generates snippets of code. I am currently using it on a testing basis to understand how well it fits into my workflow, so I have not committed to using it long term yet, but my experience so far has been positive. The AI is useful for understanding existing code, suggesting improvements, generating code, and helping troubleshoot issues without having to manually work through everything.
