I like that SchoolStatus offers both a web version and an app. The app has been really convenient for me when I’m on the go and need to call a parent. However, if I need to send a broadcast, I prefer the web version because it’s much simpler to use. I will add that I have some problems with the app from time to time. It will load and say that I have no contacts or parents in it. But it is a simple fix when I close the app and restart it. One thing I do not like is having to go through all the classrooms to choose the ones I want communications to go to. If the classes were grouped by main teacher and electives, it would be much simpler to select more than one class. Another thing is attachments; I have not figured out a way to make the picture show up in the message portion and not just an attachment.
