Initially, we attempted to implement both Zone Capture and Zone Approvals. During the implementation process, we were told that auto approvals would not occur, but we soon encountered a significant problem: bills were being auto approved and paid through Zone Approvals. This was a major issue for us, leading to the immediate termination of our use of Zone Approvals. Only after this did the team add a feature to address the problem.

We decided to continue with Zone Capture. At first, we didn't realize that our vendor bills were taking over 27 seconds to approve through Suiteapprovals. We assumed Suiteapprovals was responsible for the delay and eventually stopped using it. However, after conducting a thorough analysis with consultants, we discovered that the real cause of the slow load times was the bundles from Zone Capture in NetSuite.

Additionally, our subscription was auto-renewed without any communication. Our main point of contact had left the company due to a health issue, and we were unaware that she was the primary contact for Zone Capture. When our new accounting manager reached out, we were informed that our contract had been auto-renewed and that cancellation or a refund was not possible, even though they knew our main contact was no longer with us. They were aware because a meeting to discuss renewals with the new team had been scheduled, then cancelled by them with the promise to reschedule closer to the renewal date—which never happened.

Our experience with customer service was extremely disappointing, both during the failed Zone Approvals implementation and at the end of our engagement. If you are considering Zone Capture, I strongly suggest exploring other vendors. One area where ZoneCapture could improve is in its approval routing logic based on purchase order (PO) thresholds. Currently, the system does not support conditional approval routing where vendor bills (VBs) below a defined PO threshold are automatically approved, while those exceeding the threshold are routed for additional approval. This functionality is often critical for organisations with tiered approval policies and could significantly enhance compliance and efficiency if implemented. My experience with zone capture has been positive. Even though I don’t work in accounting, Zonecapture has made it very simple for me to reconcile my monthly compnay credit card transaction. ZoneCapture has streamlined invoice processing with accurate data capturing systems. It has improved digital content management tools that complies with enterprise e-invoice policies. The most helpful thing about ZoneCapture is being able to give the email capture address out to Vendors. This means that you no longer have to receive Invoices into your inbox and then manually input them to create a Bill. ZC does all of this automatically for you and captures all of the data.

You can also setup rules which means that even though the incoming transaction might not have the relevant information, the rules we have setup on the Vendor record will populate the line item values on the Bill.

ZoneCapture is one of those products that you will be using constantly, and the best thing about it is that you forget about it because it's working so well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only downside I would say is the email capture address is not very readable, it would be far more beneficial if it could be updated but I'm aware that this is down to NetSuite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like how ZoneCapture speeds up our invoice entry by pulling data straight from PDFs and scanned documents. It handles different formats surprisingly well which saves our team a lot of time typing line items by hand. Zonecapture is like having one smart that handles all boring office stuff like paying employees, setting up their computers, managing expenses, and hand;ing HR. instead of using five different tools for all this zonecapture, brings everything together in one place so it all works smoothly and talks to each other. no more jumping between different apps to get things done. Sometimes parts of the app are a bit slow or show errors, but nothing that breaks the main functions and also because the app has so many features, it can be a little tricky to find what you need right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how zonecapture makes approving invoices so much easy. its really easy to use and it lets me track and approve invoices fast without any hassle. i also really like the collaboration features its super siple to communicate with my team and control who has access to what zonecapture has definitely helped us stay organized, work more efficiently, and get things done faster.
