"Transparent, Configurable Workflows Backed by a Dedicated Zip Support Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

I like that Zip provides great transparency for our stakeholders, is easily configurable and customizable for us to change the workflow, the partnership our dedicated customer service team provides, and the product enhancements as Zip invests in the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

There are a few minor system limitations that make the tool a little harder for end users. For example, to identify a legal contact, the user has to type in the name for the legal contact to populate out of the entire population of users/employees. It would be great if the admins could limit that population to a set of employees/users/roles so the requester has an easier time identifying their partner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helps keep our procurement process organized"
4/5
What do you like best about Zip?

What I like best is that I can see the full history of a request without having to piece it together from emails. I can check what was requested, what information was provided, and where it is in the process. That's especially useful when someone comes back later asking why a request is still pending. I also find the interface pretty easy to work with once you get familiar with it. The request is laid out clearly, so i can et the information I need without going through a lot of screens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

One thing I'd like to see improved is the reporting side. The request information is easy enough to follow, but when I need to look at the data from a broader view or get more detailed reporting, the options feel a little limited. I sometimes have to work around the available reports instead of getting exactly the view I'm looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Zip Streamlines Procurement Intake with Fast Approvals and Easy Adoption"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

Zip brings procurement requests into one intake process instead of scattering them across email and Slack. Requests are routed to the right approvers automatically, so approvals move faster and there's a clear audit trail. It also integrates with the systems we already use, like our ERP and finance tools, and the interface is simple enough that employees outside procurement use it without much training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

Initial configuration of approval workflows and intake forms takes some time to get right, especially for more complex approval rules. Some advanced customization needed help from the support team. Once set up it works well, but the learning curve at the start is noticeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Intake and Approvals with Fast Setup Support and Useful AI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

The intake form is what I use most. Requests come in through one place and the right approvers get pulled in automatically, so we're no longer chasing people over email for sign-offs. The interface is clean, and I can see where a request is stuck without asking anyone. It also connects with the tools we already use, like our ERP and Slack, so approvals and updates show up where people already work instead of in yet another inbox. Pages load quickly even with a lot of open requests. Onboarding was straightforward, and the support team answered our setup questions quickly. The AI features help with things like pulling key details from vendor documents, which saves some manual entry. Overall it's cut down the back and forth on every purchase, and the time saved has been worth the cost for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

The setup takes effort. Building approval workflows with the right conditions for each spend type or department took a few rounds of tweaking before it worked properly. Some reports are limited, so we sometimes export data to build what we need. Pricing can feel high for smaller teams, and a few of the AI suggestions needed manual correction. Adding custom fields or changing a live workflow also isn't always as flexible as I'd like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlining Procurement with Better Visibility and Efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

What I like most about Zip Platform is that it brings procurement requests, approvals, and workflows into one centralized platform. It makes it easier to track requests and see where they are in the approval process, which reduces manual follow-ups and saves time. The interface is also fairly intuitive, making it easy to navigate and manage day-to-day procurement activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

One area that could be improved is the level of customization. Some workflows can feel restrictive when trying to adapt the platform to specific procurement processes. The integration options could also be more flexible, and clearer guidance during setup would make onboarding easier. More automation and AI-driven features that reduce manual work would also add value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Zip Transformed Our Procurement with Intuitive UX and Game-Changing AI Efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

Zip has been truly transformative for our organization. By consolidating our fragmented tools into a single platform, it has delivered full visibility across Procurement, AP, and all key stakeholders. The UX is sleek and highly intuitive, making it incredibly easy to customize workflows and configure punchout catalogs.

The platform's AI capabilities have been a game-changer. The out-of-the-box and customized agentic AI features deflect a massive amount of workload. Procurement can now self-manage requests independently using our own playbooks, eliminating the need to wait on other teams.

Since implementing Zip, we have achieved incredible, quantifiable efficiencies:

38% reduction in effort per case.

66% reduction in application toggles.

67% reduction in manual interactions per case.

68% deflection of legal requests using agentic output—a number we expect to optimize even further as we roll out "superagents" to action and redline against our playbooks. This has proven the ROI and business case.

Zip can integrate with our tech stack making it really easy to consolidate and engage with other teams. There sometimes is performance lagging on the P2P side vs a traditional onsite ERP being in the cloud. Any challenges we have faced have been easy to fix with Zip with their support and CSM team.

As part of the onboarding process we stripped back how our traditional procurement process operated from the ground up. This has made our engagements to full business No PO, No Pay possible in 13 weeks with great adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

There is very little to dislike. If I had to point to any gaps, it would just be a few minor missing features, such as a parent/child hierarchy structure to better manage marketplace spend (e.g., AWS Marketplace or Google Play Store purchases).

Any other challenges we encountered were actually due to our own ERP and chart of accounts setup, rather than Zip itself. Even then, Zip’s support team worked seamlessly with our engineers to resolve those issues quickly.

We are currently navigating some complexities around VAT and amortisation, which require configuration changes in our ERP, but Zip has been incredibly proactive in providing the support and advice we need to resolve them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhance SAP MM implementation scope with ZIP"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

There are many areas which I, as a SAP FICO consultant like abt Zip when integrated with MM for procurement process automation.

1. Structured Purchase Request Intake : Zip provides structured Purchase request intakes which ensure cleaner Purchasing Data, resulting in fewer incomplete POs which in turn reduces manual intervention.

2. Intelligent Approval Workflows : When SAP's workflow approvals doesn't cover all stakeholder ZIP kind of fills that gap.

3. Strong FI Integration : its AI encoding capability leads to better invoice processing thus enhanced performance in context of FI.

4. Exceptional Handeling : Through its intuitive user interface routing problematic invoices to appropriate person in my experience it offers exceptional problem handeling compared to other AP automation tools out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

For small companies ZIP could be a bit expensive where the cost needs to be evaluated against some of the factors like transaction volumes, no of users etc. Its best suited to medium & large corporations where flexibility and scalibility is more appreciated than price. "Zip Platform’s Simple, User-Friendly Design Streamlines Workflows and Boosts Productivity"
5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

its simplicity, user-friendly interface, and the way it streamlines workflows. It makes it easier to manage tasks, collaborate with teams, and access information efficiently, which helps improve overall productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

What I dislike about Zip Platform is that some features require multiple steps to complete simple tasks, and the navigation can sometimes be confusing. It would be helpful to have a more streamlined interface, clearer navigation, better search/filter options, and faster page loading. More customization and easier integration with commonly used tools would also improve the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Zip Platform Makes The Workflow with an Easy and Organized"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

I like Zip Platform because it reduces the amount of manual workflow, it keeps the work organized in one place, I use it regularly for daily purposes and it is very easy to use and keeps my data safe and easy to understand where it is and what is in it, without changing the data quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

The Zip platform is a little confusing for the first-time user, because for the first time when I was using it, sometimes it takes time to understand what the tool is, especially when we are using it with multiple requests at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Intuitive Intake That Simplifies Purchase Requests for Everyone"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zip?

The front-end intake experience is clean and intuitive, to the point that even non-finance employees can submit a purchase request without needing a 30-minute training session. It also eliminates the confusion that comes from having requests scattered across emails, Slack messages, and random spreadsheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zip?

The built-in reporting and filtering tools can feel a bit basic and rigid when I’m trying to pull custom, cross-department spend breakdowns or an audit snapshot. Also, whenever our underlying ERP or chart of accounts sync hiccups, it takes some digging to figure out where the mapping mismatch occurred. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
