**What do you like best about ZenCharts?**

The system, once configured properly for our treatment center, was easy to navigate and allowed us to integrate with our lab to have results move directly over to each client's chart.

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

Fairly difficult to make changes or edits to forms or templates. Very clunky if you need make corrections to group notes. The customer support was TERRIBLE!! If we had concerns about long turnaround time to get help or even answers to questions, our account rep would blame us, was very rude and defensive, took forever to get back to us.

**What do you like best about ZenCharts?**

I like that after being trained, I am able to make a lot of the edits  that I need to forms so that I don't have to constantly ask for help or submit tickets for small changes. I like that I can schedule email notifications for a variety of things. I like that the system is completely customizable and allows you to have unlimited users and clients/patients. I love that we can fax from the system. The Systems Manager is very patient and thorough and helps me understand things better when I am confused.

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

There are often bugs or issues that I have to email tech support about and the solutions are slow or sometimes don't ever happen. Also when I email our Accounts Manager, it often seems like I am bugging her or annoying her and her answers aren't thorough, they seem rushed and she responds with one sentence or just a few words, so I am often just as confused as when I asked the question in the first place.

**Recommendations to others considering ZenCharts:**

Make sure someone on your team is very tech savvy. It is easy for the end user, but difficult to set up.

**What problems is ZenCharts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have access to every chart 24/7 and can easily look up any information that I need. I can leave warnings and notes for various things to alert others to certain issues. The "meta data" feature allows data to carry over from one form to another for a particular client so we don't have to keep entering things over and over. Many of the templates that come with the system are very useful. A lot of commonly used tests/evals/scales are included.

Transfer of information instead of having to retype for every document.

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

Price for those of us that love ZenCharts but do not need the medical or inpatient portions.

**Recommendations to others considering ZenCharts:**

If you want a quality product that takes less time to document, reduces errors in documentation, has ease of use, and effortlessly allows for QCC capabilities then this is the product for you.

More efficient workflow, better documentation and time management

**What do you like best about ZenCharts?**

The charting dashboard is alright. It could use some improvements but it's nice to have a summary of our patient's info in one spot.

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

The schedule doesn't work and that is my primary role. There are way too many buttons to click to get to something. It's very time-consuming just to pull up basic info. I feel like everything is hidden within another section of the patient's chart, which slows me down. I hate that a million new tabs open on my browser instead of just taking me directly where I need to be on one tab. Everything feels repetitive, I have to enter the same thing over and over. Overall, I am glad to have a working EHR, but I don't feel ZenCharts can keep up with me. I also feel like the customer service could be better. If something isn't to our office's liking well that's our fault, not the EHR's. If there is a problem, we are to blame and someone will have to go to the developing team to fix the issue. During demo, "customizable" was thrown out at every chance but it doesn't feel very customizable.  The system logs you out so quickly and if you are trying to get back to what you were working on it brings you back to the dashboard so you have to start over. The patient/guardian portals feel useless at times. By far the worst part of Zen Charts is DoseSpot.

**Recommendations to others considering ZenCharts:**

Look for something else. This feels like a beta version of an EHR and you are the guinea pig. Not well developed yet.

**What problems is ZenCharts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit is having premade forms, the downside with this is that there is no creative freedom to adjust the forms how you would prefer yourself.

The speed of fixes and support is stellar.

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

The ZenCharts Schedule is not designed for practice management but does an excellent job for the scope it occupies.

Documentation automation and scale preparation.

The ability to dashboard due overdue missed held and self medications on one screen at any time

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

There are a lot of forms. Getting everyone in workplace using same forms is a challenge. But better to have too many than not enough

**What problems is ZenCharts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Refinery cutting edge episode allows you to see the clients whole picture of care before mak in a med decision

I like the live chat feature and the turnaround time on helping with Zen.

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

Not being able to streamline PAR's but not sure if that feature could ever be a possibility and if I'm wrong then that would be a killer feature!

**What problems is ZenCharts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running insurance eligibility if fast and efficient.

It was easy for our team to understand the EMR. ZenCharts team helped us with different integrations and requests, including challenges for data modeling, and business rules.

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

Nothing. Although there are several options out there, ZenCharts fits in our model.

**What problems is ZenCharts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can track all our operations while keeping the right level of security and compliance in place. The information is easy to find and check.

The flexibility of the system and its ability to be customized to our needs.  Also the ability to create our own forms.

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

Sometimes navigation is complicated.  The more you use it the easier it gets.

**What problems is ZenCharts solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to get rid of paper charts and can view charts remotely allowing us to collaborate easier.

It is very user friendly that presents a smooth workflow from admissions, to treatment planning, and everyday progress notes.

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

Zencharts does lack in reporting, but our organization does not seem to use that tool often.  I understand improvements have been made.

**Recommendations to others considering ZenCharts:**

Highly recommend  this EHR

Treatment plans fully integrated with therapy process.

Zen customer service is amazing! Call, email, or text and the answer will be there within 24 hours (usually faster)

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

Zen does take some getting used to, but once you do, you’ll wonder why you didn’t switch sooner

The pricing is amazing, the support is stellar.

ZenCharts allows us to custom create reports on the fly, and store Resident info for years.

I like the waiting room feature that allows me to see all of my patients at once

**What do you dislike about ZenCharts?**

Navigating the chart itself it a nightmare. Constantly being kicked out and challenging to find one part in an entire chart

It is easier to track daily groups with multiple facilitators
